Just to start off, I do not believe this to be a bug or anything to do with Windchill, just that we noticed in the workspace browser. The user had changed one of their displays to something other than 100%. After that, the creo embedded browser started acting strange. The user reported that they could not click on the buttons on the toolbar, nothing was happening. This also might be related to multiple monitors, dragging the Creo session to another screen after the scale was changed to something other than 100%. Here is what I noticed: If you put your mouse over the icon, nothing. If you hovered your mouse lower and slightly right, the icon highlighted and you can click that empty space and the icon activates. Weird. Thanks to @Chris3 for cluing us in. I wanted to document for others since I could not find this in the support knowledge base.  Returning to 100% and restarting Creo seemed to resolve the issue. When profiling in the prolog for the Index, which element should be profiled: metadata, Keywords, or indexterm? When publishing to pdf, the profiling on the metadata seems to be ignored. Is that normal?       Bryon

Creo 8, ModelCheck, Windchill 12; (soon Creo 12, Windchill 13) 1. 3D-models have layers with status "all blanked"2. Drawing layer status is independent of 3D model's layer status3. On drawings layers are not allowed. Only layers of used 3d models will be set following the simple rule: "Hide all layers but show "NoSyGeKo" or "AnSyGeKo"" (Geman: "Notizen/Anmerkungen, Symbole, Gewinde, Kosmetik", English:  "Notes/Annotations, Symbols, Threads, Cosmetics"). This setting fits to 99% of all views on all of our drawings.Question: How to configure ModelCheck to bring up Warnings/Errors if this setting is not set?(Unwanted layers, blanc/hide/show of 3D layers are no options in this case, because they are independent and should remain so. We do not have Toolkit and try just to configure ModelCheck as far as possible and avoid external tools like auxiliary applications)

Hi there It has been days since I started working in this task , but couldn't reach the right result I need to draw this graph in mathcad I have two values >>z ( depth a reading taking each 0.02 m )  so in one meter we have 50 z-values and qc ( resistance in that  z depth)  I need to write a program that will choose the minimum values of ( q , 12 MPa ) if  change through z depth in one meter is less than 12MPa and the minimum value of of ( q , 15 MPa ) if the change through one meter is bigger than 12 MPa the sheet is attached Thanks Yusra 

Hi, I have a scenario where in Thingworx mashup there is a text field it should allow only integer. Other than that any text entered it should show "Please enter integer value". How to achieve this?Thningworx version 9.6Can anyone help on this.

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: The "function validateComments" script contains a "document.getElementById("workitem_comment").value" expression. I think the "workitem_comment" value is being used to represent the ID of the field for the "Comments" attribute on a workflow task object.Description: I am trying to find out what the element ID would be for the "Process" attribute on the same workflow task object. Please can anybody shed more light on what an element is exactly and how I can query the IDs assigned to different elements that exist in Windchill?

Supplier Parts are Supplier provided parts or Vendor Parts  and They Follow hardward Series  or the Version Scheme Supplier releases the Part with . We are managing Supplier parts as Sourcing parts and they are Engineering managed Parts .Engineering Parts follow- Numeric Series - 01.1. 01.2, ...02.1 .. We need the same for Supplier parts . Now in OIR I don't see an option or listed Type for Manufacturer or Vendor Part . Could anyone please provide the solution ? 

I have a Mathcad 15 file where I can plot the absolute value of two functions that have real and imaginary components. When i converted the file to Mathcad Prime 11 it provides error. Because the graphs are at the end of the calculations sheets, i am only providing screen shots for now, to avoid having to attached the complete calculation sheets. So i was making 2D drawings when my screen suddenly went black, after waiting my pc started up again and my desktop looked funny as in my pictograms got bigger ec, then when i opend creo evrything is fine untill i open a assembly. After restarting i tried making a new part but it starts fine till i try something and then it just freezes. How can i fix this? i looked around for a solution but im not a techy guy.It freezes as soon as i select to see the planes  

Is there a way that I can develop against a Codebeamer Server that is meant only for 3rd party developers ? I think there is a plugin that would be worthwhile to add yet I don't have a Codebeamer Environment to develop against. Maybe this could be a general thing for any 3rd party developer to develop against while their plugin is in the "development" phase ?

As can be seen in above screenshot, even though the "Plane Display" is turned off this plane is still visible. This is part from an assembly that I received from a colleague, and for that whole assembly as well when unticking everything in that dialogue box some planes are still visible. I'm using Creo 9
