Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Hi guys I have a question about intersection of surfaces/curves ...  Until now I havent found any complex curve which I cant do with only curve intersection. But I found lot of videos with surface intersection. What are advantages and disadvantages of those mentioned methods, thanks.

Has someone discovered a way to put a list of tools and their dimensions used in an operation(s) at the head of a post?  This way, the operator could check by reading the G-Code to make sure he/she has the machine set-up properly.

It seems that this configuration is not an option in 8.0.6.0 (?) Do you know, or anyone else here, if there is a way to show driving dimensions which "origin" extension lines get clipped by x-sections?   RE: post

Hello Everybody,I'm working for several clients (Creo2, 3, 7 8 and 9).I'm installing Pro/E - Creo for many years in C;\ptc\creo_xxxNo problem for using all versions.I'm doing this for over 20 years... too late for me to change my manner... 😞However, I would like to install each revisions of help files..Downloaded on PTC.But I can't what would be best place to install each help folders.(Program files ??? but each revision will erase previous one ?)Any idea ?Thanks

Hello, I try to to analyse gears using the mecanism application in creo 7.0.5.0.When i creating angular motor, this one is greyed out in the mecanism tree:As the consequence, motor can't be used in the analysis :(However when i create linear motor, this one can be retrieve in the analysis definition)Does the problem come from a license that we don't have for angular motors ? Regards,Arnaud   

after the update i found solid welds to still have the weld feature, but they are not shown... to fix this i had to go troug and open all welds, close them and regenerate the model. the problem is with some but welds, for some reason if a intermitted butweld has 1 of the bits of weld cover the original chain selected, it is not shown when the other parst are generated in the 3d model.for 1 interitted weld i had 11 welds and had it end and start with a weld, but the first and last one didnt show.i kind of solved that by trimming the chain by 0.1mm making the weld not cover the original start and end. but for this other weld i have used a short edge in the middle of a round bar and extended it to both ends, the only pice of weld  that dissapears is the one that happens to cover this original edge can someone please fix this as butwelds are anoying enof to make were whenever i enter a value that makes the weld not work, it does not give a preview, basicly making m

Hello,Is there a way we can find the exact location of bend radius violation in Harness flattening file as we can in creo cabling assembly file?I have been getting a lot of warning in flat file which looks something like the below:WARNING: Min. bend radius of cable CH-02 violated in harness xxxx_FLAT.I tried increasing the bend radius all along the path of the wire CH-02 but still could not get rid of this warning.Is there any resolution for this?    

 Thank you for stopping by this topic. I would like to reduce time to draw complex shape models with Creo. I have location coordinates data of the forms thus I selected each location to draw the shape.If it's possible to draw the geometry directly from the location coordinates, it helps a lot.Do you have any ideas to perform it? Thanks!

Hi! I don't know if I should put it here, if I wish to report a bug (I think SPR)... In my simple part when I add just new revolve, as result the feature will create new body instead the same body and to have it as normally was just additional geometry in the same part I must add boolean operation feature to obtain the single part as it was previously.please review if this is bug -> I am using Creo Parametric 9.0.3.0 BRRoman   

I'm using Creo 4,0, i want to use multiple configurations in assembly using simplified rep, I have gone through some article, but after adding the sets of constraints, I'm unable to call it in simplified rep, while giving "user defined" option in simp rep mode, I'm getting the below error, please assist me.

Hi, My question is on the Result Type - Strain Energy per unit volume 1. After running a Modal Analysis, Strain Energy per Volume can be viewed either  by Graph or by Fringe. What is the difference between them 2. Under the Graph - Strain Energy per volume and selecting a curve, is this the  strain energy of the unit volume or of the the curve ie an edge of the assembly.          

We're OK with the upgrade itself, but what changes can my end users expect? Where can I find some training on the new features for each version?
