Hi! We are experiencing a weird issue with routing a cable, which has the internal shielding conductor connected only on one side. The problem is that creo doesn't use the first location point of the network for routing, it want's to start at the second location point, and the orientation of the routing is backwards. Now as far as I know we could simply reroute this, and add the start and end locations to the cable manually, but that option is not available. We can select the segment we want to reroute, but after that we are unable to pick the start and end locations for the cable. We tried the whole thing in another design, just routing the network on a flat sketch, that way is was fine. As soon as we add more complex "geometry" to the network the whole thing start to act up. See the attached video for better understanding. (view in My Videos)If anybody has some ideas about this, please share your thoughts.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.1.0The drawing template I'm creating will not allow me to assign a model Parameter and automatically changes it to a Drawing parameter after entering the model parameter. is there something special I need to do to get this to work correctly for the Drawing template I'm creating?&PTC_WM_VERSION&PTC_WMLIFECYCLE_STATEWhen I enter these parameters into a table in the Drawing Template it automatically changes it to have ":D" at the end which I do not want. I am trying to set up the drawing template so that for any drawing created you know what version and lifecycle state for both Model and Drawing is for a specific Drawing.
I am getting this relation error on a few lines and i cant pinpoint whyleft and right sides are incompatible
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.0.0I couldn't use the EZ tolerance analysis tool. Here are the errors that I facedYou have not checked out the license option. Please click "File->Options->Licensing" and choose required option from "Refresh license list".
Hi,I need to have two different Reps in the same sheet of a drawing.I start with the Master Rep and a certain scale of the drawing; when I change Rep and I choose other one the scale of the new one is different from the first Master Rep.I want the same scale. Is there an option or some other thing that can set the scale automatically?
Is it possible to use relations in a repeat relation to covert decimal #s to fractions? I was having issues with some ITOS formulas I found online but I developed some if statements that work well. (sample below) They work well at the part level but I am having issues adapting for the repeat region. WHOLE=FLOOR(ASM_MBR_FLAT_PATT_L)DECIMAL=ASM_MBR_FLAT_PATT_L-WHOLE IF (DECIMAL<.03125)FRACTION=""ELSEIF DEAD(DECIMAL,0.03125,0.09374)==0FRACTION="1/16"ELSEIF DEAD(DECIMAL,0.09375,0.15624)==0FRACTION="1/8"ELSEIF DEAD(DECIMAL,0.15625,0.21874)==0FRACTION="3/16"ELSEIF DEAD(DECIMAL,0.21875,0.28124)==0FRACTION="1/4"ELSE
Hi,I was wondering if the Creo parametric has a change of the phase in multiphase flow for evaporation and condensation? I see there is evaporation and condensation only in the cavitation model. For example, in the inlet boundary condition there are 3 phases water_vapor(v1)=0.4, N2(v2)=0.35 oxygen(v3)=0.25. After passing from heat exchange with heat source 200 W, what is the volume fraction of water_vapor and water_liquid?I can't see any option for change of the phase and phase interaction because of evaporation and condensation of liquid or gas. Thanks
Is there anyway I can modify the spline created during section view? (Image attached for reference)

Hello, In a repeat region I put the relation ITEM=500+rpt_index to start from 501. --> okThen to reorder some components I "Fix index" i.e.: 503 fixed to 2 become 502.It works perfectly for some assemblies and not for others. When it doesn't work,- 503 fixed to 2 move to the 2nd row instead of 3 -->ok- 503 is still displayed instead of being changed to 502. rpt_index is well 2 for it. It seems like the formula ITEM=500+rpt_index is not calculated anymore. Again, on some drawings it works fine. Assemblies are build with a similar method.I suppose it can come from an option in the drawing template but I don't find what is different.Does anyone have an idea ?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150Sections have never worked at places where they would cut a spring which is part of an assembly. The section looks fine in 3d, but fails on the drawing. Currently the spring has to be excluded from the section for it to work. Is this a known bug? Will this bug be fixed in Creo 8?
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 6.0 (connected) Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.6.0The dimension display is set to retain 1 decimal place, but the actual dimension is still an integer Translated with Google translate by Iuliana Nuta, 11 june 2022

I have two question on the notes in creo 4.1. can i change the default note name for ex Note_01 to Gen_note0012. is there a way to create a parameter note without opening the parameter box itself like can i add a relation that would equate Note_001 to a parameter? (not &parameter name) ex. note_001= Note Parameter named noteA_001
HelloI try to analysis universal joint (Cardan's joint) in MDOthe mechanism is composed with 2 universal joint, i have a slide between U joint.on enter shaft, i use a speed servomotoron exit shat, i use a torque servomoteurIt'OK, a speed and torque values are consistent But, for design the bearing betwenn cross and fork, i need to calculate the forces on crossof course, this force is torque/ fork radius (tangential force)I would like to find this result with the Creo's measures, but i can't do it!
Folks i am trying to move a knob using the slot connection but i get these errors: 1. Servo motor on slot in the assembly model cant be satisfied2. The rigid body 1 connected by Connection_7 in the assembly cant be properly oriented3. The following kinematic loop cant be closed: Ground-body1-Ground I dont understand the last error as it shouldnt apply to my problem thanks
I'm drilling a plate with counter bored holes. Generate a .nc file and when I go to post it I get this "Error type 3 detected". The error comes up right after I select a post. The post works on several other files so I don't think that is it. Any thoughts?Josh
We have a user that just insists on using non-standard arrowheads, and all threats have failed to stop it. 🙂Is there a way to hide the arrowhead type context menu, or a config or DTL file option to lock the arrowhead style?

Hi everyone,It must be an answer for this one, but can't find it... Upon finishing a feature modification in a pattern, I was to modify other features before clicking regenerate, however, CREO started to regenerate everything immediately, except for the features that have been set as read-only ahead of the pattern. There are 12 patterns in the model tree, I need make simple modification (i.e., change the number of member) to all of them. After each change of the number of member in a pattern, CREO takes two minute+ to regenerate. 12 patterns means half a hour for regeneration! It must be an option to set to avoid the automatic regeneration. I am using CREO 6 in offline mode. Thx,JSBTW, to generate a 48 x 116 pattern of simple cutouts in a flat plate, CREO spent at least 8 hours (from Friday morning to next Monday morning) to finish it on my computer with 128GB installed RAM.
Would have as a local exchange where to save the information schematics (cahe) , today is in this location C:UsersAdministratorAppDataRoamingPTCCreoSchematics wanted to put to save in another Drive ?
Hi,I want ro read onto step file the annotation make in a part as dimension, tollerance and note. How to export, in a step file, annotate as note?
why point defined on hole axis can not be chosen for spot welding?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.3.0Hi,I would like to know the option to kill Creo in background completely.
