The issue is an erractic display in the embedded browser. See below for more detail and some screenshots. This is a 100% reproducible issue as follows: Creo Parametric 4.0 M010-M030 haven't tried F000 This is not an issue with Creo Parametric 3.0 config.pro option windows_browser_type chromium_browser This is not an issue when using ie_browser Windows 10 have tried both version 1511 and 1703 Windows 7 doesn't have this issue. Windows Scale and Layout set to something larger than 100% common on higher resolution (> 1920 x 1200/1080) monitors to set this larger than 100% 150% is common on a 4k monitor With the above setup the embedded browser contains fuzzy content. Looks the same as zoomming greater than 100% on an image in an image viewer. Looks like this: Then as soon as you move your mouse inside the browser window and interact with something like a link or icon the content re-scales itself into the upper lh corner of the browser window as shown here. I have
Hi, I need your help! I need to display a dialog with a list of message, but I have no many example with ProUILabel and what I did always fail. I tried to put code below inside a loop with an incrementing DIALOG_LABEL and label_text as message:ProUIDialogLabelAdd(DIALOG_NAME,DIALOG_LABEL,&grid_opts);ProMessageToBuffer(label_txt, user_msg_new, "board_selection");ProUILabelTextSet(DIALOG_NAME,DIALOG_LABEL,label_txt); Is there a easier way to display the box with list of message? Is ProUIDialogLabelAdd and ProUILabelTextSet fit for that? Thank you!
Hello, I know this question has been posted numerous times before, but I couldn't find a specific answer to what I was looking for. I have a text string parameter for a pattern of holes, such as &PATTERN_NO which is 4 I want to add the text "X" after it to show "4X" without a space between, such as &PATTERN_NOX but it doesn't work. The only way to work is to add a space &PATTERN_NO X which is 4 X. Is there is a way to do this without adding a space?
Hello, Is it possible to temporarily suspend verification of instances in a Family Table? I have a catalog part with 3000+ instances. I need to make a handful of changes to the generic. I don't exactly know what feature sequence I need to accomplish the needed changes, so there is going to be a process of creative destruction. But every time I make a change, Creo regenerates the entire family. Even without clicking Verify or ModelCHECK. At 3000+ instances, at ~1 second per instance, it takes an hour to verify the table. I estimate I need about 26 features to accomplish the changes I need. If I make exactly zero mistakes or mis-clicks, it will take about 4 days to implement the changes. The part is small and relatively simple, so modeling the generic itself isn't hard. Just waiting for the instances to regenerate is painful. Ultimately, I want to be able to modify the generic without regenerating the instances until I
I am new to PTC Creo (company currently using Creo 3.0) and was wondering there is a way to create a keyboard shortcut to snap a model to a stand orientation (front, back, right, etc.)? I was formerly on SolidWorks and you could hit CTRL+1 for front view, CTRL+2 for back, etc. Is it possible to create these shortcuts in PTS creo 3.0? Thanks.

I had another engineer come to me with "cannot upload to Windchill because of 123xyz.prt not unique error. Part 123xyz.prt is not in the ASM and has not been since several revisions ago." I tried the usual reference viewer and break/delete old unused dependencies. There was plenty to fix there but the 123xyz.prt was not listed. Still blocked from upload. Model info got me this info on the culprit"SUBSTITUTION IS BY SIMPLIFIED REPRESENTATIONCOMPONENT IS NOT ACTIVE IN ANY SIMPLIFIED REPRESENTATION" After googling for a while the solution is to convert the old feature to display it in the ASM model treeSo have to add config.procnvt_unused_subst_comps_on_retr yes Then the part shows in the ASM model tree again as suppressed and can be deleted.Ghost Part beaten once more.see https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS16326Is specific to family table fixes but is applicable here.

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150请问如何使用TOOLKIT给尺寸文本添加“文本符号”? How to add "text symbol" to dimension text using TOOLKIT? Translated with google translate by Iuliana Nuta, 16. june 2022
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM100We exported our projects under Parasolid format (.x_t) and several times customer complain the imported files in NX several time some components are imported as surface and not as solid in Unigraphics and they spent time to solve this issue. In Creo Parametric the files imported came as solid.I don't have the Unigraphics Application and also I don't have experience with this application , but can you give us an explanation why do you think when NX when import files came with some components as surface.Thx,CC
I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.6.0I have an issue when working remotely via VPN, where Creo will run smoothly for a period of time sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 30, then suddenly its very laggy and far less responsive. The framerate drops dramatically and theres delay in being able to select anything using the mouse, or use the software in general. This affects both modelling and drawing. The issue is instantly resolved by disconnecting from the VPN and reconnecting, without any need to restart the Creo software. When on site, the issue does not occurr. It seems to be a network issue of some sort - does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks
Do you need to create a simple model defined by two Helical Sweep Threads - use the Mirror feature
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM040Creo Drawing showing green dots which are not in drawing originally. The model is also distorted. Setting the graphics option to OpenGL resolves the issue but the system becomes very slow. Here are the errors that I facedIncorrect rendering of the drawingGraphics driver used : Intel (R) UHD GraphicsAnother system with the same configuration renders the drawing quite well.
I am using Creo Parametric - Release 8.0 (connected) Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.3.0I am trying to see if there is a way to change the line name within sketcher. I would like it to automatically create certain lines with specific names. This is all related to us needing to save a copy of the drawing as a .dxf for our CNC Plasma cutter. For example we are wanting to use our plasma to "scribe" bend lines and text onto our parts. Therefore bend lines and text needs to have a different "line name" so the plasma knows that they are scribe lines and not cut lines. The toolpathing software we are using for this is ProNest. Some issues we've seen are, since circles are shown as 2 arcs it doesn't always create those lines with the same name/layer as perimeter lines. So the machine doesn't know if those are cut lines or something else. I'm thinking this problem may involve modifying the config file.
I want to get the current/opened Creo Parametric version/Datecode as a environment variableKindly share the name Thanks in Advance
HiHow I can use the program with Creo in Italian Language?
Hello Creo Community members, PTC Support Services are happy to introduce the recently released Creo Stability Troubleshooter tool. Please visit the first version of this Web-based tool that guides Users and Administrators through the most common Stability troubleshooting steps, all in one place. It lists utilities / methods to identify causes and even some common solutions if your Creo application: Fails to Start Prematurely exits with reproducible steps Randomly exits or becomes unresponsive This resource is available to all PTC customers (some tools require e-support admin rights, like Creo Performance Advisor), in English language only for now. Our Knowledge experts are actively monitoring your feedback and continuing to enrich the content. Even if you’re not currently having a Creo Stability question, take a look and tell us what you think through the widget or by replying to this post. Thanks in advance for your contribution
I have a tool path that is cut out or a cylinder. The tool path is around the cylinder. I know that I can use relations to have it wrapped proportionally around the cylinder, but I want to create drafting feature that can show the dimensions by angular dimensions. With the first angle being 15 degrees and the total length as 360 degrees. I need some help from a Creo expert who might be able to help.Cameron
Good morning everybody,I'm trying to create a Java Toolkit application that is fired when the user push a specific button of the UI ( Parameter )Any hint? Thanks in advance
Hello, Are the claims in the following statement correct? Specifically, is the statement underlined and in bold correct? Creo manages the bend radius of the CAD model by applying the minimum bend radius from the spool onto the cable geometry. Networks are simply helper aids for routing. They do not control bend radii. When Creo places cables, it tries to follow the Network first. But in some scenarios, where the network is tighter than the spool's minimum bend radius, it will allow the cable to depart from the Network. Essentially, what you're seeing is Creo applying the minimum bend radius of the spool onto the 3D cable geometry. Therefore, you don't really "measure" the minimum bend radius so much as enforce the minimum bend radius. Any measurement that would be taken would equal the value of the minimum bend radius of the spool. Thank you!Devin
Hi, I am trying to unbend the 2 curved flange profiles.Does anyone know how to do this because it is baffling me. thanks
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM1401. Unable to debug Make Install Project2. Unable to debug DLL that loaded in session using VB.Net API
Hi All, I tried to run the asynchronous Jlink Full Example under this path - Creo 7.0.2.0\Common Files\otk_java_free\otk_java_appls\jlinkasyncexamplesBut the performance has been inconsistent, sometimes the creo parametric app opens, sometimes it doesn't.Other times the session starts but the model is not loaded. Only few times it has successfully started a creo session and loaded the model. Is there something that I am missing? Can the application be optimized in some way? Thanks,Apoorva
