Creo+ and Creo Parametric

HelloI accidentally closed the windows for a skeleton assembly and a part. They are still in session but they are unsaved. Can I reopen the windows and save the objects?Edit: I'm using Creo Parametric Academic edition.

Hello,    I want automate printing drawings in creo, which mostly works fine with our printer but there is a huge white border around while I use laserjetv4 printer type. Obviusly I can't use MS_PRINTER_MANAGER if I want to automate the whole process. I attached my .pcf file for reference but it doesn't really look like that it has anything to do with it. Only the "plotter" settings seems to affect the border. Anyone can help me with this problem?    

Hello, When I create an explosion, and when I switch between the normal and the exploded view at the end of the animaton the part is always gets refit to the screen. I attached a video to demonstrate. Is there any way to stop this? Thank you!

Hello,  I have recently installed Creo 4(M80) and it fails to run with error (-96) Failed to connect to server. Server is down or unreachable. The thing is that i am at home connected via VPN to the network where licencing server is running. However when i brought my PC with me and physically connected my to the network, everything ran just fine. I tried running it with firewall disabled on my PC as well as on the licensing server, but i keep getting the (-96) message.  Any suggestions what to try next?   P.S. Don't mind the (-21) message

How to change the text height to less than 0.125 ???  

To all   I am trying to learn CREO customisation so I am "playing" around with mapkey + .vb file. I set up a mapkey 'OS Script' option pointing to a .vb file containing a simple test program. If I press 'run' I can see the command DOS window being open but then I get a request to select the app (windows 10) to run the .vb file. So far I have not found anything in the vbapi doc on the matter. How does one run any of the vbapi examples provided?   Thanks Regards

I cannot figure out what my issue is here.Trying to unlock my jar here with command   protk_unlock.bat -java com.ptc.AbasIntegration.abasIntegrationMain C:\Users\rpaxton\Desktop\AbasIntegration\temp2.jar    C:\Users\rpaxton\Desktop\AbasIntegration\temp2.jar: Error: Licenses do not contain a TOOLKIT option code,a requirement for unlocking a TOOLKIT application.The weird thing is that I can register this application with no problem in Creo, so I must have the license right?a few google searches led me down to looking at the license serverLicense/ in use /  available14 0 (1) 294 0 (1)333 1 (1) 334 0 (1) Also in parametric\bin\parametric.psf has the entry ENV=CREOPMA_FEATURE_NAME=PROE_ESP1 (14 334 333 294)   What is missing here?

Workflow of loading metrics data onto ThingWorx

Visual Studio 2017 Creo 4.0   Creotool kit has been installed and I have the directory   C:\PTC\Creo 4.0\M070\Common Files\protoolkit   I opened the visual studio solution file (straight from Visual Studio 2017), to run the make file project.   When I first tried to build the make file, I realized I didn't not define PROTOOL_src=../../../..   This is now defined as: PROTOOL_src=C:/PTC/CREO4~1.0/M070/COMMON~1/PROTOO~1   Now when I build, I get the following error: U1077 'cl' : return code '0x1' Looks like a compiler flag error of some sort.   Here is what my make_install.log states:  cl -c -GS -fp:precise -D_WSTDIO_DEFINED -D_USING_V110_SDK71_ -I. -IC:/PTC/CREO4~1.0/M070/COMMON~1/PROTOO~1/protk_appls/includes -IC:/PTC/CREO4~1.0/M070/COMMON~1/PROTOO~1/includes -DPRO_MACHINE=36 -DPRO_OS=4 C:/PTC/CREO4~1.0/M070/COMMON~1/PROTOO~1/protk_appls/pt_install_test/pt_install_src/TestInstall.c  'cl' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

Hai, in Existing revision table . if i enter data (Like ECO, date, name ) i am getting an extra space at the end. which makes the data not centered in the particular cell of table. to Fix this i have to manually edit data and delete extra space to make it to center.is there a way to fix this using map key? every time data should be in center of table without any extra space.

Creo 3, M070I have a sketch made up entirely of 4 geometry pointsI then created two other sketches, both almost exclusively tied to the first of the four points in the original sketch:I then group those two sketches and create a pattern of the group driven by the points in the original sketch.Creo creates 5 pattern instances instead of 4, one being slightly off of the original.  There's an extra set slightly offset from the original and not aligned to any of the points:Anyone ever see this?  I can selectively disable the extra instance that doesn't align to any of the 4 points, but at some point I assume Creo is going to try to remove the wrong instance and screw up the children of my pattern.How do I fix it?

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how to access the semantic references of a dimension using Toolkit.For a 3D annotation that is created by 'show dimensions' and is as such derived from a driving dimension this can be done by using the sequenceProAnnotationElementGetProAnnotationelemIsIncomplete (to figure out whether semantic references were assigned) For a 3D annotation that is created as a driven dimension this does not work. I tried ProDimensionAdditionalRefsGet but the return value is PRO_TK_BAD_INPUTS although type=PRO_DIMENSION Can anyone point me in the right direction to check and get access to the assigned semantic references?

I would like pre customize the hole table in 2d drawing. Is there a way to pre configure the hole table in drw environment?I have to use every day the hole table in the picture but I have to configure it in the same way each time that I have to insert it.Thank you in advance,Enrico

Hi all,    I've got an odd workflow at the moment where I'm designing in Creo 6, exporting my assembly to step, importing into Fusion 360, and using Fusion 360 plugin to generate the BOM.    Creo defaults to appending "_asm" to assembly files during the step export, so when I do the step import into fusion, I end up with my components all called "partnumber_asm" instead of "partnumber"   I'm opening the step file in notepad and doing a "replace all" to remove all of the "_asm" text strings but that's a bit of a faff.   Is there any way to configure creo to not append _asm to filenames?

Have I lost it? It seems like I used to be able to copy and paste notes and symbols from one drawing to another, but in Creo 2 it's not working. I pick the item, pick copy, then nothing is available for paste on the destination drawing.

Hello, i have a problem with creo. i want to start Creo, but there appearing two warnings: -10 Feature has expired -5 No Feature exists.   Creo works from till december 2019. Until now i didn't use creo. Today creo don't work. I don't know why. Who can help?   Sorry for my bad english.          

to all   A silly question. I am reading the vbapi user's guide (still early days) and I cannot find  how to "execute" a .vb file as-is. By that I mean read a .vb file in CREO so that it is executed straight away. (no compilation, etc done). Is this possible? if 'yes' how ?   Thanks Regards

Hello;      I'm a Solidworks user that has a customer that requires the cgm format for their purposes. Presently I output a dxf, fix scale issues, disappearing arrows, etc., then import the dxf into Creo, fix it again, in a drawing, & then output it to a cgm. We're communicating with a co. that has a translator/converter from pdf's to cgm, which would greatly simplify my process.     At this point when the I.T. department opens the file created through a view express, it looks quite good, but if I open the file in the Creo Parametric which I use to create the files, half the lines etc., are missing. (See Attachment); I use Creo 4.0\M060 parametric cad. Anyone have insight into why it's visible in the viewers but not the actual cad?  The customer uses these files to create their own drawings so I'm thinking they utilize cad of some kind.   Thanks in advance for any input, or other solutions to my objective.
