Creo+ and Creo Parametric

Hello every oneI´m working on an assembly and I just finished it.A co-worker renamed a sub-assembly and now it shows this error "file name changed, not checked out by you".I can do check in and check out to my assembly, but I am asked to remove that error. Thanks in advance for your support and kind response.

This is a new sketch, not a part.I want to rename the two dimensions to x = 15 and y = 20, and use, for all my dimensions, mathematical operations on x and y (instead of calculating and typing in numerical values), as follows...For horizontal dimensions x1 = 5x/7 and for vertical dimensions y1 = 3y/5, and maybe down the road x5 = 2*x3 and y7 = y2/4.Is this possible in CREO 10, and is it possible for a part as well as a sketch?I cannot find anything of that nature in the sketcher, right clicking on a dimension in CREO 10 does NOT bring up the DIMENSION PROPERTIES window.Apparently the DIMENSION PROPERTIES window does not exist in CREO 10 sketching anymore.Would the normal mathematical operators be used and what would be the correct syntax, for both naming and using the names in the subsequent operations?Like + - * / (addition subtraction multiplication division) and so forth...

creo 10.0.3.0 I can update a wire spools MIN_BEND_RADIUS, the corresponding minimum radius will be updated to reflect (in CABLE MFG>FLATTEN>LAY OUT). This does not seem to be the case with sheath spool (or perhaps a issue with bundles). I've tried:-Regenerating all models-Close/re-open-Modifying a bundle to use a different spool-Extracting wires and then adding them back in-Delete flat harness and start over     

Creo 9.0.80   Section cutting plane lines have varying thickness when rendered. Has anyone seen this before or know the possible cause of this? The line font appears to be hidden font in some areas and visible in others.   This drawing template is out of the EU, is this the correct render for cut lines under an ISO dwg standard?      

Hi all, I'm using Creo parametric 11.0.1.0.I have a pattern of sketches. Is it possible to project the pattern associatively to a single sketch?I attempted to select the rule "All curves in feature" in Rule-based references via the chain selection option, but was unsuccessful. What'm I doing wrong? Is there an alternative method that works? Thanks

We use Creo 8.0.6.0. Is there a newer version of Autoaxis for Creo8?

Creo 9.0I have fixed this once before after scouring the internet (all PTC websites included) and by trying options that were obviously not the fix, I stumbled into the fix.  Not looking to have anything diagnosed, just looking for the super specific term that PTC uses to describe the corner anchor of a table. (view in My Videos) Sorry for the zoomed out video, but anything posted here is immediately public information. (read the terms of service)  With the risk of being terminated from my employment this is the only example I am able to post.

Using Creo 8.0.9.0 I'm trying to create an assembly that can be shrink-wrapped into multiple different skeletons, each with a different construction of the parts. I was hoping to be able to use a single assembly that has multiple states, so when I create a shrink wrap feature in the skeleton I could just choose the state I want to be visible. The purpose of doing this is for repeatability in the future, as previously the only way to update these shrink-wrapped skeletons is to completely reassembly the geometry in an already "released" model without saving, and then shrink wrap into the skeleton using the "last displayed" view option. Here's a dummed-down example: the part in question is a lever, and I want to create an assembly that has the lever in it, and can show it at 90 deg, 120 deg, 85 deg, etc. with the click of a button, and then import the geometry in that state through a shrink wrap into a skeleton model. I know I could use family tables, but in my case the ass

To all, I am looking for a way to assign, in an assembly, the same pos_nr needed in GPLM / WindChill, for BOM structures, without needing to do it each time for the same component. In the images below, I would need to pick in the pos_nr column for each one, change to Integer, give the value and then designate them. I am looking for a way that I can easily add it to all of them at the same time. We are finding it time consuming to have to do each one individually. Any help is appreciated.Dennis J RehmerABB

Hi all.  I know this has been covered before but nothing I've read has helped me. Creo 9.0.4.0, Workgroup Manager 12.1.2.1, Windows 11 I login to either Creo or WGM and enter my credentials and select "remember me".I check windows credentials manager and the password is in there but the username is blank so I fill in the username.I login again to Creo or WGM and the password is correct but the username is my windows login.  (Domain/user)I check windows credentials manager and the username is blank again I've checked Chrome and Edge and there are no passwords saved.  I have to switch between Creo and WGM several times a day so this adds up to a significant amount of time! Any advice?  Thanks in advace!Brad  

Creo 8.0.11 why there isn't the possibility to interrupt a bigger analysis (eg: LDA) to restart it later?Someone may post it into the IDEA section?    

Creo 8.0.11 The usage of "to ground" springs is not supported in non linear analysis but linear one is permitted. So I want better understand the main difference between them. SIMPLE    You can write a function to establish the relation F=k*x. Only one constant for linear and rotation movements; so if I want the point forced not only in 1 direction, I must lay other springs. It required two "supports", two ends that gonna be linked with spring. Version: Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0 I am trying to use the updated Manikin models.  When I try to move the manikin model Creo requires that I have access to some of the sub-models.   This makes using the manikin models more challenging.  I can move the manikin model around, but if I try to edit a joint, then manikin requires access to the lower level assemblies.   If all the models are read only, I can't continue.   The manikin model should need to write access to these lower level assemblies. (view in My Videos)  

Hi communityI drawing  2 part:shaftHubI want to linked it with gear teeth  (involute profile)i drawing involute on shaft and hub with the same parameter when i assembly shaft and hub  i find low profile decal.  in the hub, i use a simple function for cut teeth profile in the shaft, i use un sweep function perhaps this decal come from sweep ?i am sure of my involute anyone have an idea ?

Primary Goal:To export specification-driven piping and piping components that were modeled in Creo 8.0.3.0 as a Piping Configuration File (PCF) that can be opened and modified in a pipe-stress analysis software (AutoPIPE, v 23.00.00.230). Methodology:Piping is modeled as Spec-Driven per Creo Guidance and YouTube Tutorials, and pipe components are similarly modeled per Creo Guidance and YouTube Tutorials. To export Creo model as PCF, Creo guidance is again followed. This process has been tested and proven to be able to export complete pipeline PCFs that can be read/interpreted by AutoPIPE. Problem:The PCF export of some (but not all) pipe tees is encountering errors when following this methodology. Can anyone help me convert an .STL file into solid geometry in Creo?

When importing a sketch in the extrude process, the center of the sketch is always in any other point than the center of the sketch -- not even on the middle line of the sketch.In this example I wanted the center where the red dot is, but I could not drag it there, or change its position in any way. Is there a possibility to edit the original sketch and make the center be in the very middle of the sketch by some procedure?Or is it something that can be done here, in the extrude, to move that center wherever it is needed?

Hi,I've done a relation for chose the constraint set of a component in an assembly.The relation works well with the component.The component constrained is the leader of a pattern of two items.When I change the leader constraint, the other item should modify his position simmetrically w.r.t. a central plane, so I've done a direction pattern with the dimension twice the annotation distance between the component and the plane of simmetry.When I chose the leader constrain, I have to edit the pattern feature to regenerate the position of the other item: how can I update the simmetrical position of the other item without edit the feature pattern?  Thanks in advantage.Best regards, Michele Barile

How is it possible to load a Creo Elements/Direct Modeling part or assembly into Creo Parametric, or to incorporate it into an assembly, if the part/assembly was created in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling with a large offset from the zero point in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling? What I have noticed is that when importing without preselecting a profile, the positioning fills the screen and the CAD file is displayed. (This is identical to the normal opening of the file)(view in My Videos)(view in My Videos)However, if you select a profile when importing, the CAD model is somewhere in 3D space and cannot actually be found and therefore cannot really be positioned. You can only find it if you search for the solid geometry somehow (see picture).(view in My Videos)Hence the question, how can you load CAD models from Creo Elements Direct Modeling properly via UNITE Technology in order to find or integrate them?We actually only a "quick and dirty" Creo Parametric 10.0.1.0 standard installati
