Creo+ and Creo Parametric

I can't open my Top assembly file, I applied a few notebooks for my design (Model and Assembly),I found an error message below the message log bar: "All notebooks referenced by model A will be retrieved". I tried to fix this by undeclare the notebooks in this model but it still happens with the otherIt just happened 1 day ago, before I could open it normally. Do you have any solutions for this such Crashes 

My colleague is working on a large assembly. He puts the model into an isometric orientation and saves it in the model with that orientation. Then he places a view on the drawing and picks that saved orientation and the model is rotated in the drawing view.   I have reproduced it on my machine with a brand new blank drawing. Both the model and the drawing are the same rep. There are no family tables at this level.   Has anyone else ever come across something like this? Any ideas? If no other ideas, we will just dial it in with rotating about references until its close to the iso in the model.

Hello all, I am trying to get member of a pattern feature and delete them using toolkit. I am retrieving pattern feature using ProFeaturePatternGet and then using the ProPattern from it ProPatternMemberGet to get a members of that pattern. After getting this member how do I delete this member of pattern so as to have just header of pattern in a feature.

In Creo 7 (with Windchill/PDMLink) changing model units from inch to mm (metric) the model and drawing dimensions do not convert to commas from decimal points (decimal points remain). Was successful in previous model/drawings. I checked configs, customizations and more and they are identical from previous successes. Any thoughts are welcome.

One of our designers has a drawing that was saved in January and none of the parts or the assembly have been modified since then, except the skeleton file that is used for positioning the assembly. When he and I opened the drawing this morning from Windchill, most of the views have shifted locations and even dimensions on one view that did not shift have been moved from where they were in January.  This is very disturbing, especially the dimensioning and balloons moving in relation to their original placement. I can see something in the skeleton causing the model to 'move' but not dimensions to a view that has not moved. We are on Windchill 11.0 M030 CPS16 and Creo 4 M080.   Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Ich habe ein Startup Tool meiner Uni für Creo 8.0 gedownloadet. Damit hat mein alte Creo nicht funktioniert, weshalb ich es neu runtergeladen hab. Jetzt kann ich weder das neu Installierte Creo normal noch mit dem Startup Tool öffnen. Ich bekomme immer diese Fehlermeldungen. Als ich nach dem Fehlercode und einer möglichen Lösung im Forum geschaut habe, wurde mir die neu Installation des qualitiagents empfohlen, dabei bekomme ich aber immer diese Fehlermeldung: Ich finde aber keine neuere Version, die ich dementsprechend benutzen oder löschen könnte.English:I downloaded a startup tool from my university for Creo 8.0. As a result, my old version of Creo stopped working, which is why I re-downloaded it. Now, I can’t open either the newly installed Creo, nor can I open it with the startup tool. I keep getting these error messages. When I looked up the error code and a possible solution in the forum, I was advised to reinstall the quality agent. However, I keep getting this error

I am just trying to use the assembly for FEM exporting STEP.  How can i create a coordinate system by importing one from a step file or other format at the TOP level.  How can I do this while another designer has the assembly checked out / my workspace is out of date.  I do not care about updates.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.3.0How can I embed the fonts in a .prt files ?I made a wrapping feature onto a solid part with a text using a special true type font. When I send the part (.prt file ) to my supplier (who does not have the same font) he cannot see the text with the same font.Is it possible to embed the fonts into the feature so that it does not change ?Here are the errors that I facedno error messages, different fonts on different machines with the same prt file.

Hello All,I have a an multiple assemblies which contains part with same name but different parameters. Is there a way to retrieve the parts parameter by its name.For example:My assembly has p1.prt, p2.prt and p3.prt. They all have a parameter weight.In drawing I want to do something like this "&weight:p1.prt".Is there a way to do this?

Hello all,   I am seeing a small dimension discrepancy of about 0.01 between an extrusion (remove material) I did and the use of the measuring tool distance feature. I am scratching my head as to why, and I cannot figure out its cause. I attached some images and a video. The extruded cut is 3.00 but when I measure it becomes 2.99.Thank you.

Hi Community.Our company has many Creo users in different offices all over the globe. We are faced with many crashes every day, which is frustrating for users.We are running CREO 10.0.2 on new Dell Precision 5680 laptops.-i9-13900H-32GB RAM-nVidia RTX A3500 Ada Generation laptop-Win 11 Pro OSObservations: The crashes are mainly in our offices in Paris, Nantes (both France) and Jena (Germany), but not in Stockholm (Sweden), Sunnyvale (CA) and Christchurch (NZ).The Windchill server is located in Stockholm. The license server is located in Sunnyvale.The number of daily crashes depends on the graphics card driver release version. The latest one is not the most stable.At lunch break the screen is locked. After unlocking the screen the CREO window freezes  and the session is crashing immediately.Often the session is crashing if the software is reporting a license issue.Crashes with huge ASMsCrashes when creating drawings.We believe there are several root causes for these behaviors.&nbsp

Creo 7 environment. Dual dimensioned print is not acceptable.    Is it possible to use a metric (mm) part model to create an imperial (inches) 2D drawing? The parts are designed in metric units but a request for dimensioned prints using inches only has been made. If it is possible, what combination of config and detail settings will make this work in drawing mode?   The part should remain in metric, I am aware that the option to convert the part to inches and then create an inch drawing exists, but this would require maintaining the same part model in two systems of units in PLM environment. If we can drive an inch drawing with a mm part that would be the preferred solution.

Hi,   I should know is it possible to frame a note with a single frame on 2D model when you want to write on many lines like this screenshot. Because actually I just do frame each line only but not all the lines together. Thanks for your help if you can give me tips. Regards.      

Hello all, I am trying to delete other instances except from the very first pattern table instances which is used for creating pattern. But I am unable to do so. There is always one instance other than the main feature referred. How can I delete this and just keep one? TIA

Hi I'm working on a shrinkwrap export through toolkit, As of now code is using a new empty model created through ProSolidMdlnameCreate(). But, I need to use templates for the export, templates are kept in start_model_dir. Thinking to copy a template to working directory while exporting through toolkit. Is it possible to copy files through toolkit? Or any other idea to export shrinkwrap with template with code?

Hello, I'm using Creo 10 making multiple pipes in an assembly. Is there a way to change color of each pipe without making a part of each line section? It would cause trouble when saving as it would create alot of unnessecary parts. The default is blue, so it feels like there should be someway to change it. I havent found anything in the Piping module. Using View->Appearances doesn't register the pipe as a surface or body that can be used for coloring.

Hi, I need some help to launch Creo 9 on Windows 11. I use a VM with Parallels because my laptop is a MacBook Pro M2Pro 16gb RAM. My VM has 8 cores for the CPU and 10gb RAM.2 days ago I installed Creo 9 because I will use it for my 4th semestre as an aeronautical engineer student in Bordeaux's University (I'm French so my English isn't perfect). I installed with success the folder that the university has given to us called "MED-100WIN-CD-460_9-0-0-0_Win64", extracted it, launched the "setup.exe" files, put my key licence and dowloaded everything. Then I have tried to run the file "Creo Parametric 9.0.0.0" but nothing happened. Just my cursor tell my that is loading during 1 second (you know like when you try to launch something on Windows the cursor does a blue loop to tell you that it's loading) and then nothing happen. Can you please tell me what I have to do to launch Creo ? Hello, I'm working in Creo 10 and making an assembly with alot of parts. I have made a Family Table where I hide some parts in a few instances to highlight parts in each instance. Now I have a drawing with The generic model containing the whole BOM list. I also have the instance models in the same drawing that I want to attach BOM Balloons to. However when I try that It doesn't work, That is because when i add the generic it generates a separate BOM with different numbers and it is tied to a separate BOMIs there some way to have the instance keep the generic BOM so I can add balloons? The same problem occurs when I use simp. rep. I also can't use Layers because I have used the pipe tool it doesn't seem to hide the pipes when I added them to a layer and hide it. Instead it just hides connected parts that I have.
