Has any body figured out how to make the bottm otf a tappeed hole flat?

I'm trying to revolve a cut inside a rectangular-shaped container, while keeping the extent of the cut limited to the inner walls of the container so I don't cut into neighboring models. The result will be a cone-shaped piece that I can use to measure the volume of the container at different heights. Imagine the inside walls of a blender, for example.I've experimented with some of the Advanced features (Wildfire 4.0), but I cannot seem to achieve what I want.

I really like Creo Parametric 1.0, however I can't get PTC to supply me with a "What's New" document for it. PTC tech support told me no such document exists.I don't understand how a software company can update the software and not provide a list of the new stuff to its existing customers. Yes I'm aware PTC wants more money to join the university to find out what's new in video format. I feel as a maintenance paying customer I'm entitled to a written list of the enhancements at each new release.Anyone have such a document for Creo Parametric 1.0?

Is anyone out there using UltraVNC to access client workstations and having issues with the workspace in WF5 not refreshing?

Hello, Does anyone know where to find a quick easy list of different material densities? I wish PTC would just put the most common materials in and if you want to tweak them, then you can modify them. I am looking specifically for aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

1) How can i search a model to, for example, find all inside corners that are < .1875. 2) Is there a way to quickly find the Length, width, and height of a model without having to measure each one. Has anyone running emx 5.0 or 6.0 with creo 1.0? Is it working? What about the icon buttons?

I would like to have productview adapters publish a jpg of our parts and asm. I opened a ticket with ptc and they told me to configure this with the office adapter. This does not sound correct. Any help would be great. We plan to use these images with our ecommerce site instead of taking pictures. These images do not need to go back into windchill. What is the setting to get your most recent files to display under the file pull down menu? Hello!At updating Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 the additional application "PTC Places Namespace Shell Extension" is installed. For what it is necessary also what its functions in general ?

Sorry 1st post!I am using Wildfire 3.0 (I know, behind the times) Well, anyway, in Pro/Man I am working on turning iconnel and would like to be able to vary the depth of cut pass for pass, is there some simple/parameter based method I am missing?Right now, all I can see is that I would have to program in the passes individually. I am relatively new to the turning in Pro.Let's say I want to go .030 then .080 then .040 then .060 or something so I am not hitting the insert at the same spot each time.Thanks!!!

How can I do this ?I want to set some dimensions at every end of a section line.Working with V17.

Whenever I create a section view, the arrow line is very long and it is placed a long way from the view bounding box. Does anyone know how to make the arrow line shorter and move it closer to the view?Thanks in advanceJeff

Does anybody know of a way to color code text lines within a relations window?We would like to have the ability to color text red when we make a change in a relation. This will allow for easier decoding of the relations when we make future changes.
