I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.5.0We are unable to open either the VW AG add-on or the Audi add-on (version: 15000100). The standard Creo version (version 11.05.0) is functioning correctly. The two supplier add-ons cannot be started. The Creo version was successfully checked and approved during the add-on installation.This is a Java error. A higher and compatible Java version (Amazon Coretto) is installed.Here are the errors that I faced"Wrong Java Runtime Environment!The defined command "C:Volkswagen\Volkswagen\VWAG_CreoParametric_15000100\app\vw_tools\vw_tools\1.6.2.0\java\x86e_win64\jdk\bin\java.exe" shows version denied.Required ist Java Platform Standard Edition 17 x64 version 17.0.15 or higher. OpenJDK Amazon Corretto 17 x 64 can be used as well."

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.9.0With CREO 4.0 we developed a script for sustitution of failed components in assembly. With CREO 9.0 this script returns the following message in std.out:"Attempted use of deprecated config option 'regen_failure_handling' was blocked." even if in config.pro the option regen_failure_handling no_resolve_mode doesn't returns error in the configuration interface.In document CS260154 I've read that an authorization code is needed to make the VBA script working.For the future we are working on a different solution, but at present we are in need of help. Hello PTC CommunityI am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.8.0I need to get the simplified representation used as substitution of an item of a dedicated simplified representation of an assembly. So I'm using ProSimprepdataitemsVisit to get the items and filtering them on the action type. it works well with a new created simplified representation.After replacing the a component having a substitution by a component having also same replied representation name, it is not possible to get it : the previous component is still return as ProSimprepitem ( its item_path still have the previous CID).How to update the simplified representation item?

We have been seeing a new icon in the upper right corner of Creo 10.0.7.0 at different times.  Never seen it before.  Nothing in session this time.

Hi Everyone,Software: Creo Parametric 11.0.5.0. I am working on Migration of Weblink to Creojs. Here I am having doubt in the Topic "Enabling Security Settings" mentioned in CreoJS User Guide.  In my WebLink code, when I opened an html file, I will receive the below PopUp.  But as mentioned in CreoJS user Guide(please see below image), I am not getting any popup for security settings(like shown in above image) in CreoJS.Can someone help me to achieve this? Note:In both Weblink and CreoJs, my html file will be called from local folder only.Example: D:\PTC\Weblink\test.html Thanks 

Hey everyone,I am facing the issue that every time I create a new part file, the units are set to imperial in the model properties (first picture). I have changed the configuration file, so metric units are set as a standard (second picture). However, this apparently does not work. I want to implement a macro to select two location points and create a branch bundle feature. However, the selection tool doesn't seem to be working properly, as shown in the figure below. Each time, only one location point can be added, and it's impossible to add two location points to the selected list.The help documentation states that when creating a branch bundle, you need to hold down the CTRL key to select two locations. Is there any way to programmatically select two locations? I'm using Creo 12.4.0.0 and I'm experiencing an issue when trying to edit certain configuration files in Creo ModelCHECK. Here is the situation:I can edit Start Files and Status Files under the Configuration Files section without any problem.However, when I try to edit files under Check Files or Constant Files, Creo crashes.For example, I tried openin the default_checks_mch, file but Creo immediately crashes.The crash only happens when editing Check/Constant files, not Start/Status files.

Hello guys, I am facing an issue with the ProUIDialogCreate API returning PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR when a dialog creation DLL is invoked from another DLL. When the same DLL is executed independently, ProUIDialogCreate returns PRO_TK_NO_ERROR and the dialog is created successfully. Note: The ProUIDialogCreate call is implemented inside the user_initialize() function.if anyone knows the solution, pls let me know.regardsAraivnd

I know ProDimensionAttachmentsGet() in Pro/Toolkit(licensed API) can do this, but I don’t have a Toolkit license.Is there a way to achieve the same using non‑licensed APIs (e.g., VB API/.NET or OTK Java), or a reliable workaround to traverse attachments/baseline direction for ordinate dimensions?

If we watch it in the UI and click the Open button manually, it correctly calls macroB. Thank you for any hint.

Hi All,I’m trying to find out if it’s possible to create a new exploded view and adjust the positions of the components.I’ve created a mapkey to generate a new view, and that part works fine. However, I’m having trouble figuring out how to move the components. Dear Team,We operate in an environment where several industries use Creo Parametric for the creation and editing of appearances applied to parts and wires. We are currently using Creo Parametric version 12.0.2.0.We would like to suggest an improvement related to the organization of custom appearances. Currently, all created appearances are grouped under the “My Appearance” tab, which mixes appearances intended for wires, solid models, and sheet metal. This limitation directly affects organization and workflow efficiency.Our suggestion is to allow the creation of new custom tabs or categories within the Appearance Manager, enabling users to separate appearances by application type (wires, solids, sheet metal, among others).This functionality would significantly improve ease of use when creating and editing appearances, as well as provide better color organization. As a direct result, it would also help reduce design time, leading to increased productivity and cost savings for companies.

i know there is a api in toolkit to get a component's transformation matrix, like ProAsmcomppathTrfGet(). but as far as i know, the assembly component path is related with current assembly or current model in toolkit.how about i want to get a component's transformation matrix relatively to its parent assembly not current assembly.for example, there is a assembly A, it has a component B who has a component C. instead of using ProAsmcomppathTrfGet() to get path for C to A, i want to get the transformation matrix for C to B.is it possible to do so? can anyone show me a sample codes? many thanks. 

Good afternoon i'm using a creo parametric 11 version, i'm trying for my drawing to populate the "code nr." and some other parameter as shown below automatically.For example a code can be "202500001_11" i want to manually apply che 202500001 code only on the main .asm parameter and use the same code also in all the .prt drawing on the repeat region.Actually i write this code on the relation of all the .prtDESCRIZIONE_ORDINE=DESCRIZIONE_ORDINE:1NOME_PARTICOLARE=rel_model_nameDISEGNATO=DISEGNATO:1ORDINE=ORDINE:1CODICE=CODICE:1DATA_CREAZIONE=DATA_CREAZIONE:1QNT=QNT:1And it works, but i cannot save this code in the start part of the .prt because of that ":1" that refer to the .asm and it does not exist in the new .prt.for the "_11" i'm using matching code like this and it workd perfectly also on the start part IF rel_model_name=="CAV_M"NR_PARTE="_11M"Can someone help me with the main code ?Thank you for your time and help.
