Good afternoon i'm using Creo parametric 11 with the intelligent fastner lite version.I would like to know if it possibile to modify or add some screw starting from the template for have my personal codification.Thank you for your time and help. 

Does anyone know the context argument (third argument) of ProParameterTableExport using the toolkit that match looking at an assembly's parameters using the filter "Current and all assembly features and components" in Creo Parametric 10.0.4.0?  I am having issues trying to get all of the parameters using PRO_PARAMTABLE_EXPORT_XML.

Creo is managed by our company with some standard settings. Every time we open Creo the config.pro and the mapkeys in the run directory are overwritten with our companies default settings. I have added in my user level config.pro and system colors, but am having trouble doing the same with the mapkeys. I followed the instruction in the support documentation, but when I click find in the config.pro and search for "load_mapkeys_run_dir" it doesn't exist so I cannot change the setting to pull from the designated location outside of the run directory.    

I want to create a toolkit application that can integrate PowerPoint into Creo. Basically, I would like my application to generate a PowerPoint with information about the assembly and part views and parameter information. Is there any library that could do this integration?

I have configured my model tree with some columns and sometimes it is hard to see if the part that I clicked is in the same line of the information displayed on a distant column, so it'd be nice to have an option to add horizontal lines between columns in Creo. I will put an image to clarify what I am saying.

Hi, I'm looking for compatible versions of Visual Studio to customise Creo Parametric 12.4.2.0. Is it okay to use Microsoft Visual Studio 2026 (available as latest version) or safer to go for previous versions? Thanks.

Hello everybody!My company has just acquired Creo Parametric and it needs to develop add-on extensions to it. From the other hand, we have tons of useful C# code that we we want to reutilize.I just started to design the extension and my plan was to implement a 3-tier architecture consisting from the following layers:- DLL client build with Creo Object Toolkit C++, which may be registered as extension to Parametric.exe- Middleware build with C++/CLI which will allow client/server interop- C# libraries consumedUnfortunately, my trials so far to make server DLL extension dependent on the middleware class brought to the Parametric crashes.I'm absolute newbie to the Parametric programming so I would like to start this first post with some general questions.Do anyone has the experience with the using C# code from Parametric?Is the direction I tried makes sense with Parametric?If yes, what may be the causes for crash? (I will share code files as necessary)If not, what are the advised directio

I'd like to access, through code/programmatically a *.prt model's Annotations (e.g. Symbols, Datums, Notes, Dimensions). These would be the objects that are, in PTC Creo 10.x, in the model tree -> Design Items > Anotations. Is this possible through the base license of Creo (i.e. in Visual Basic)? The annotation objects seem like they might be accessible through details (drawings), but I cannot find their equivalents in the Model/PRT file. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Hi everyone, I'm currently working with PTC Creo Web.Link and trying to determine whether it's possible to designate a parameter specifically associated with a FeatureID within an assembly context.I've reviewed the Web.Link documentation and found the method pfcScript.pwlParameterDesignationAdd(), which seems to apply only to general model parameters. However, I haven't found any reference to designating parameters that are tied directly to a FeatureID. Has anyone successfully designated a parameter linked to a specific feature within an assembly using Web.Link? If so, could you share any insights, approaches, or code examples?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

We are trying to develop a Creo Java Toolkit based application in synch mode (going by the recommendation from PTC) . I checked the feature created by this function, the font is still font3D. Hello friend,I am facing an issue during study check in Creo Ansys simulation. I see this is because of elastoplastic material selected. later on, when I select linear Material, this is working fine, means no error showing. I am selecting elastoplastic (nonlinear material) because my part is of plastic Material. Now, my question is Does this Creo Ansys simulation support nonlinear material? If yes, please help me how to resolve this issue.

Creo10 Pro/Toolkit Cabling development issue.I am trying to route wires through a point location starting from a connector side. I created the ProRouting data for each wire. And use following code to route all of them through a point location one by one.for (int j = 0; j < cablenum; j++){...err2 = ProCablelocationrefAlloc(PRO_LOC_POINT, sel_array_route, PRO_B_TRUE, offset, &cablelocationref);err3 = ProCableThruLocationRoute(cable_route_data_arr[j], cablelocationref, &tpm_loc, &second_location);...}But the CAD shows all wires are interfered and concentrating in the point as the left pic shown.What I want is including all the wires in the point with the blue points like the right pic shown. Is there anybody know how to achieve this by the Pro/Toolkit code? Million thanks to this.

I see there is a Progress bar component in Creo UI editor.1. Is it possible to have something like a progress circle in Creo UI editor?2. Or a custom gif that we could display to accomplish showing an in-progress operation?cc @GS_14113977 

Hi,I have 100 part numbers , in which the drawing has to be opened from windchill into creo session and it should run a particular already recorded map key then it should save back into the workspace or windchill check in , When i tried running the dbatch program in native creo, it says license error. My company has customized tools inside creo and its based on floating license i guess. So is there any ways i can link that creo to the dbatch script or i should go with toolkit api commands or trail_file based scripting ?Does these methods other than dbatch have option to run in background or while the system is ideal (after working hours or scheduled time).

I've verified that the C and C++ compilers are included in my version of Visual Studio 2022.Any ideas on how to unzip this file and build it successfully? 

When I drop another UI component into a ProUITree, how do I make it sit exactly inside a property-sheet cell? I’ve tried hard-coding the size and position, but nothing lines up. ProUITable snaps the component to the cell automatically—can ProUITree do the same thing?

Hi,I am trying to implement ProMdlReadonlyIgnore with reference to article CS398373, as I am unable to upload parameters while it is in Checkin state. Untill Creo 7.0.11 I was able to do it, but same action in Creo 10.0.5 is demanding me a checkout. By referring article CS398373 I figured we have to use ProMdlReadonlyIgnore(I suppose not as a custom API) but PTC provided. I do not see any document in Creo Parametric TOOLKIT API Wizard .Can I get some help here.

Vers. 10.0.5.0Creo program has stopped using the config options i've had before, specifically inverted zoom shown in picture. I am unsure which is correct for the zoom option i want (Yes or no) however i have tried changing the config file to both options and it has not changed zoom direction and uses the default scroll wheel down = zoom in & scroll wheel up = zoom out.The only notable difference i've done recently is closed the program improperly by closing the pc but this has not changed the config files for me before. Any advice is very appreciated!Solution:Using the link provided and testing what config.pro was being loaded, it turned out to be start up/working directory. Reselecting the working directory with the config.pro solved the problem.
