Hi,   I would like to know how to refresh mashup data on the hour (E.g 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, etc), instead of refreshing after an hour once the page has loaded. I have tried using the Auto refresh widget and time selector widget but that sets the start time to when the page loads, not according to a set time. If anyone out there has tried this, and it worked for them, please let us know.   Thanks

Hello Team,   Currently developing an extension to get connectionId from hub using SignalR in java.   When importing the extension in thingworx it is showing following error   Import Failed: io/reactivex/SingleSource   Included following library implementation 'com.microsoft.signalr:signalr:1.0.0' Since getting error tried adding compile group: 'io.reactivex', name: 'rxjava', version: '1.3.1'   but still no luck getting the same import failed error as above.   Any help  will be appreciated    Thanks, Vijay5  

Hi -    I'm working on a solution to transfer data between a PLC and MSSQL Database using KEPServerEX. I was able to implement the push (data from PLC being transferred to the MSSQL DB ) using the ODBC client and writing to a stored procedure.   However, I'm having issues with pulling the data to KEPServerEX with a parameter (i.e. ID). I would like to call a stored procedure or function with the parameter 'id' to limit the result set to a single row from the SQL Server.   I've attempted the data pull on a test database with a stored procedure (returning no results), a function (also returning no results), a query that selects from the function (which returns results, but no parameter), and several other attempts only to reach a dead end.   Wondering if anyone has experience with the ODBC client driver that may have found a solution to this. Hi Team,   from today morning, not able to login to thingworx composer, after giving the credentials its still asking for the user name and password.   i have not changed the credentials.

We're using ThingWorx 8.2 and our developers are complaining that the Composer web UI is very slow, even on relatively fast computers. I tested this myself and it was fast until about 30 minutes into editing mashups, when it becomes quite slow (often eventually taking 1-2 seconds to click a button, sometimes more).   I see that Chrome memory usage is very high and the web app itself seems very inefficient. I see that a potentially big problem with ThingWorx - as it keeps our developers from being productive. We tested on a MacBook Pro with 16GB memory (both Chrome, Safari), a Macbook Air, and also a powerful Windows PC with 64GB of memory in 3 different browsers including IE.  In all cases, it turned out ThingWorx Composer eventually gets slow.   It is of course driving our developers mad.  Is there a remedy for this - or is it just that ThingWorx web interface is old and clunky by nature?

I am a iOS developer and i use this iOS SDK on marketplace to connect our Thingworx server.I user our host,post.apikey to connect,it failted.But when i use Java SDK to connect,it could be successed. Hello, I have  a thing "ptc-windchill-demo-thing" which is imported /created at time of Navigate Installation process. Their is a service in that Thing   , named as GetPartByNumber.   I just created another thing just like "ptc-windchill-demo-thing" and created a service same as "GetPartByNumber". Hello all, I have installed thingworx 8.3 trail pack. it frequently stopped its functionality.  i checked the log. it shows java heap space increased. also it shows 1018 db error.   can anyone kindly help me to solve this issue.   Thanks  Sugumar

I'm using Axeda Platform 6.6 and when I tried to add  DownloadInstruction to Software Package and create or update the package with V2 API SoftwarePackageBridge I received the error: An unexpected error has occurred. If you continue to receive this error please contact support and report the event   Some other instruction like RestartAgentInstruction added successfully.   What can  be a reason of such behavior? Can anyone confirm how Thingworx manages logging Properties to a Value Stream?  Specifically when logging Thing Properties that are bound to remote KEPServer tags?  Does Thingworx use the timestamp that comes with the data from KEPServerEX?  or does it create its own timestamp when it logs the Property data to Value Stream?   We think that the Properties are logged with the timestamp that comes from KEPServer but don't know that for sure.  Of course, you'd want to log the data with the timestamp received from the OPC server rather than create one at log time since there will be some lag time between when the values are captured and when Thingworx receives them and schedules them to be logged.    My setup for reference: Right now we're using Thingworx 7.1 with the KEPServerEX extension.  I've got a RemoteKEPServerEXThing set up with KEPServer tags as remotely bound Properties, and the data is coming through properly as far as I can tell.  Fr

Hi, I followed the step before the installation recommended    by the guide but the installation has ended with this post-installation error(look the photo). after i read the log file and there were not all the components of descriptive service. I don't know the reason of this. Someone has some advice?   

Hi,   My TW Connector crashes after a while. This is the error I get: # There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue. # Native memory allocation (mmap) failed to map 12288 bytes for committing reserved memory. # An error report file with more information is saved as: # /opt/Thingworx-Azure-IoT-Hub-Connector-2.0.0.141/connector/bin/hs_err_pid15517.log # [ timer expired, abort... ] Aborted (core dumped)   At first site this looks like a memory lead for me. The Connector runs on a VM (7GB Memory) and I think the resources should be enough for a dev env. I have connected just one agent and there is not much stress on the Connector.    Are there are any Java settings recommended for running the Azure Connector?   Thanks

Hi, Greetings!                  I do have a tree structure like Plant --> Module --> Area etc. I want to display all the modules from the selected plant (selected from dropdown) in a rectangular box so that on module click it will show underlying areas(rectangular box with text).                 I have tried repeater widget with shape widget but shape widget showing only first value from data service. I want to display all the values with separate rectangular boxes. Could you please help me. Thanks.      

I am trying to run code provide from https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-java-sdk-tutorial   put threads are executing repeatedly, no error occures. I have not provided  Thingworx username and password in my code. I had only set appKey , which i created from Thingworx composer Application key.     After executing i get Logs as shown in file.

Existing Answer in the forum: Add an expression widget, and set it on Expression=close();  Then you just need to trigger that expression widget whenever you want to close the browser window. By, @CarlesColl,         I tried the above solution to close the current tab by a button click, It is working fine when it is triggered from the parent window(E.g: triggered from view mashup option) But not working when I copy the URL put into the new window.     Kindly provide the solution for this ASAP.   Thank You  Regards, Janakiraman P

I have a mashup with a button that uses a hidden navigation widget to open a modal child window that is just a confirmation message.  When the child window is closed I would like for the parent to also close so the user does not click the button again.  Looking for the cleanest way to handle this.  Any help would be appreciated

Hi, I know How to send Sensor data from Rasperrypi to Vuforia studio using inbuilt Thingworx composer which will come up with Vuforia studio, where that can be accessed by using the URL of The studio(That can be seen in Settings of Vuforia studio) i.e URL/Thingworx.   Can we achieve it by Binding Vuforia studio and separate localhost Thingworx Composer. For example, : Where Vuforia studio 's address is localhost:3000 and my Thingworx foundation address is localhost:80/Thingworx,... So Can we bind Both??
