good morning to all, I have a problem with Emx 11 and it is a problem that surely happened to you too, many plates go correct size only that I can not trace if there is a relationship or a quota to be modified on the generic file.on the Pedrotti supplier the binary component in the options there is an entry called RAIL_OFF, THE VALUE is W1, this value reading the file feature_data.txt in the Udf folder the entry RAIL_Off the value W1 and derived from a calculation 0.5 * (RISERS_MAIN_WIDTH-RISERS_WIDTH2) but the result is incorrect, the customer is quite altered because he does not want to check the catalog and correct the quota for all the measurements. I enclose a pdf where the difference in qutature is indicated from the catalog to EMX.Can someone give me a hand?Thank youExcuse me for my English, I do not speak very well
Are there any recommendations for multiaxis and/or HSM machining? We want to step up our abilities but I'm not finding much of anything for multiaxis or HSM machining. Sure, I can take theory classes on both (any recommendations here?) but I'd like to see something that shows us how to use the software to accomplish those things.
having a hard time making the machine play option working I have a models for DMG 5-axis machine which I assembled kinematically using slide & pin options. Have a mach_zero coordinate at the table center & tool_point coordinate at the spindle center. Have saved it in my workcell directory & am able to see the preview in my workcenter/assembly tab also in the nc manufacturing assembly. Have defined the coordinate system also in the nc assembly Have the machine play option working in the right click mouse button on the operation. But as soon as I click it, it opens a second window with the machine & closes it immediately just giving me a glimpse of the machine Does anybody know what could be wrong or what am I missing ?? Hi, Many times a day I use the "Save a CL File" button to post a MCD File.Everytime I do it, I have to tick "MCD File" in the submenus that follow, see screencapture for reference. Is there a way to make Creo remember I ticked this option, at least for the current session?Creo remembers you ticked the MACHINE option for instance and the next time you use "Save a CL File", the MACHINE entry is already ticked for you, which is good.Is there a hidden option for "MCD file"? Or an custom entry to write somewhere in a configuration file? I have discovered the menu entries for this menu are defined in Common Files\text\usascii\menus\output_type.mnubut there's no way to define what is ticked by default or not, at least that I'm aware of.I also had a look at the trail file, nothing struck me as a clue there. Any help appreciated!

Is there a parameter that can be added as a column in the model tree that will show each NC Sequence coordinate system used?
I'm trying to match the outputted .tap file from saving the CL file out an engraving process match the output gcode from Gibbs CAM. The main differences are in the start and end code. For example, the code needs to use G54, G55, or G56 offset and needs to display the program number in the start code. Is there a way to configure this in Creo NC so that it will output the correctly formatted file? Is it possibly in the config file or the engraving feature itself?
Looking for some expert knowledge. I have just recently moved to Creo 5.0 and went thru the Ptc university mold design course. I presently use a manufacturing mold cavity template that contains my workpiece and a predefined flat partingsurface as the parts I do are quite often parted at this location . I then locate my part model in this assembly using same model. I then apply my shrinkage to the part. My next step is to create closed partingsurfaces through a variety of surfacing techniques to be used to do volume splits for all the inserts of my mold. I then make cavity insert components from these. This techniques was show to my a long time ago. I now see that I can skip making a lot of the parting surfaces and go directly to making volumes in a lot of these cases this seems like it may save some time and simplify my model tree some. So the questions are what if any are the down falls if any using volumes where I can for breaking up the tool versus surfaces and the

Having issues with HSM Rough, Parameters are set up for Rough Only, Constant Load, Step Over .03 , Max Step Depth .625 Issue with this is it still wants to do a full retract when the tool path starts to work in corners. Instead of doing a small tool lift. Any suggestions or solution's would be appreciated.

Hi. On one of my sheets in my drawing I have a list of parts. These are manually entered in and are not a repeat region. Is there a way to sort these? its get quite tedious to search if there are 30 parts listed. Thanks
Using Creo 5.02 So we use to be able to collect many separate surfaces to like ribs of open pockets and machine them in one seq. and use cut angle to machine ramps or ribs. Now that option is gone and even classic surface milling is gone. This is a huge loss does anyone else see this? Is there a workaround so we don't have to cut-line everything and waste hours of time ?
First is anyone using any type of third party tool database with Creo/NC like WinTool etc. if so what has been your Experience?Second is there any way to make a tool in the Tool Database remember the Tool Number in the XML file so it comes into the designated pocket when retrieving tools. I know they retain the saved offset, but I have not found a way to save the tool number or pocket.

Hey guys! First time poster here! The main reason for me to post here is because crazy things are happening. What I've got: - clean, completely manifold (solid) STL file (checked with multiple programs) - imported as facet feature in the reference model - manufacturing model with mill windows defined - milling using roughing, reroughing and finishing What happens: Somehow, Creo decides to mill something we can't see ... the tool collides with invisible surfaces or goes through the reference part. Discoveries: when the model is opened in Vericut simulation, we can see our reference part is distorted. Though in Creo everything seems okay. This distortion seems to be the crazy invisible things which are happening. How does this happen? Is there any way to fix this?

I am working in Mold Design to create a Mold Cavity. I created the file and assembled a reference piece and then created my workpiece. I did a reference part cutout of the part from the block too, but not sure if that has relevance here. Anyway, when I open "Parting Surfaces" I am unable to select the "Extend Curve" tool. I tried unblanking and blanking both components and selecting a curve, but for some reason I cannot get it to be selected. The picture is shown below of the problem. I have been able to create Parting Surfaces using the Extend Curve tool before and am unsure why it isn't working now. Any thoughts? Please help!

Hello, I was reading the Help file on Probe commands and read the following:CL Command IssuedVERIFY / PNT [, CLEAR, a] [, PERMIN, b] ( ,OSETNO, c )OSETNO, cIndicates the difference between target point and measured value. This difference will be placed in register u201ccu201d. No impact on probe motions.i cannot find anymore information about this "register u201ccu201d". Anyone any experience with this?The goal of this all is off course to be able to measure my casting work piece and then let the nc program let it's coordinates adjust to the measured values. I'm still researching if it is possible or not.. I suppose it is, because a casting work piece is never twice the same, so i suppose a post processor should be able to interpret this verify command for its probing cycles.
