The only place that I can see is the *.mdk under the bank-Folder. I want to use cutter compensation in a profilmilling sequence. I enabled the options for cutcom, witch prints G41/G42 in my tab file.The problem is that already in the cl-file are the wrong coordinates. They are not influenced by turning the cutcom option on.What can I do to get the right path for my cutter compensation? Product designs can become very complex when they require cabling or harnessing systems. And the process of creating the manufacturing documentation can make a challenging task even more difficult. Luckily, there is a new out of the box solution in PTC Creo 3.0 for all PTC Creo Cabling customers who are on active maintenance. The new Harness Manufacturing Extension reduces the time it takes to create fully detailed harness manufacturing drawings. I need some help from someone, please.I have a problem in that my head office requires me to use set bend tables, however the flat unfold produces the folds in all the wrong places for the manufacturing process my UK suppliers use.I have been told by head office that in Creo, once the Neutral factor has been put in, it should never be changed. This in itself is a big problem to me as I cannot use any output for my UK supply chain.When I attempt to change the neutral factor, every extrude in the sheet-metal fails to a Yellow traffic light. The only way to get back to green, appears to be, is to delete each extrude and replace in turn, always loosing vital design intent on the way.Recently I have got the vital settings that I need for the UK supply to get a reasonable output with the fold-lines in the correct place, but this is not going to help me with the 6 years of models that all need these updates. We are actually using ProEngineer Wildfire 5.0 M260 integrated with Windchill 10.1 M050. We are looking for an upgrade to Creo Parametric 3.0 M060 without any upgrade on Windchill side: workspace functionality interaction tests are ok, Creo internal browser appears more powerful, hardware performance on client machine (cpu and graphics) looks good. Does anyone on here fully use model based definition and model based manufacturing?If so could they give an in to pro's and con's of working this way?I currently use Creo with Creo View as a tool to show large assemblies and visualisations for presentations etc.Are there other tool available to use with ease.Also I would be interested in speaking / hearing from people who use windchill and or PDMlink to control their BoM structures.Might be a big subject this one but would like to know as much about good and bad points as I can getThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello all, first time for me I'm stuck on sheetmetal !Here's my problem. We have planned to make an aluminium sheetmetal 3mm thick part with just one simple bend. Our customer asked us to have a very small bend radius. As the part is only a cosmetic part (no heavy load or whatever) , we have thought of milling the bending area to make it 1mm thick on the bending zone. So it would look like something like this :This one is made in solid mode. And of course I can't convert it to sheetmetal as it hasn't a constant thickness.So I thought making it directly in sheetmetal mode, starting with a 1mm thick part. Then trying to thicken the part where I want. I was thinking of making the SetUp list for ours IT guys to let them know how to configure computer dedicated to work with Creo. I was thinking about hardware but mostly about the software, as we have the biggest influence on this how it is configured rather than which machine wil be bought. Hi,While looking at SPR resolved between Creo 3 M040 et M050, I noticed a document referring to minimal acceptable tool length. (https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?source=SPR%20Viewer&n=CS206102). I tried to add this parameter to one of my tables but it doesn't show anything. Any idea how to use this ? I have a student license and am using Creo Parametric 3.0. I need to design a mold cavity for a project but when I start a new project in creo and try to select Mold cavity under manufacturing it won't let me choose it. I recently purchased a Mitsubishi MV2400S EDM machine for my tool room. We are having trouble integrating a post processor with CREO that will write code just as the machine needs it. Our current processor gives the machine everything it needs except for the wire threading.
