Hello good people   Why mathcad says that v isn't a vector?

Hi, MCAD15 I want to output different tables (matrix) in one excel table component on my MCAD worksheet. So, I have to format excel cells (auto fit width and height) before output. Here attached I upload such component for those who need this. I add a component with subscript, superscript and line feed formatting also.  

I was getting a few of views on this but no replies (I'm assuming) because my files were in Prime 4.0.  I've added some more files viewable without 4.0.   I'm having trouble creating a program with an if statement that has three ranges, i, j, & k.  Results would be a matrix with k submatrices each with i rows and j columns.  See attached.

Hello folks,   I'm currently doing data fits in a bulk; i.e. several hundred sets. Therefore, I'd like to automate this. Some data sets seemed peculiar and I noticed an odd behaviour when it comes to exponential fitting; see attached file. In two different data sets, which are very similar, Mathcad's expfit function determines vastly different coefficients. Does any body has a remedy for this or can explain it?   I'm using MC15 on a 64 bit Win 7 machine. Thanks Raiko

Hello, I am working on creating a model to design an wastewater treatment process. I have set up the mass balances and but keep getting function errors dealing with the flow, which I am hoping to be able to change in further iterations to see how the system will handle it. I have checked and the guesses are within a reasonable range. I have reworked this many times and have been unable to get any answers. I am very new to mathCAD so I could be missing something relatively simple, I appreciate any help you all can give me!

Hi, I  recently obtained a research script based on mathcad (old version) by my colleague and i tried to follow the sequence using Mathcad Prime v3.1. But it shows error after copying the whole sequence on Prime.  The aim is to produce several acceleration graph as seen in the file images. The script image named after capture 1 to 4. The error image i encountered was in Error 1. Really appreciate if someone can rewrite it in Mathcad Prime version would be helpful for my research in earthquake seismic design.   Thank you.    

Hello, I have the following question: does Mathcad have any functions to create folders and subfolders? I have to write many Excel files in folders and subfolders that do not exist. I generate the Excel files but I do not know how to create the folders. I work with Mathcad 3.1 and Windows 7.

Hi to all,   In the attached (MCP3) file, can anyone give me some suggestions on how to get a better plot of f(x)? I have tried varying splines but the plot is quite erratic toward the end where as I would expect it to be quite uniform.   Thanks,   Andy

Can't find how to show Gridlines in a Graph, X-Y plot.  Express Prime 3.1.

Hello folks,   currently I'm using Mathcad's built in function localmax. It is a great function but it yields too many false positives and in some case (see attached file) also outright false ones.I've fiddled around with the window size but the results are not very convincing. Does anybody know how to improve this?   Thanks   Raiko

Hello Everyone,  im trying to match normal and weibull distribution. The probability density and inverse cumulative probability distribution for probability of 0.25 for both distributions should be equal. I have to find two Weibull parameters (3rd parameter = 0). I´ve tried solve block but its not working.  Can someone help me?

Do you know these curves? I cannot find any information ;-( If we nave two points (focuses) we have an ellipse, a hyperbola, a Cassini oval or Circles of Apollonius But we have one point and one line!

It has been a really long time since I've used the software.  The following is in Mathcad 15.  For the life of me, I cannot remember how to solve for the answer(s) of a function.

how to plot repeated value ? Eg: for example i want to plot sin wave, i have values for 0-90 degree and i want to plot for 90-180 degree by reversing same data and so on till 360 degree or (0 to 2pi).   In the 1st graph, AA=[0,0.99,0.98,0.97,...1],size of AA is 20and i'm just repeating by modifying same data "AA"

Why was MathCAD Gateway abandoned so quickly by PTC?

I'm looking at pipe flow in a series/parallel configuration.  Each pipe/flow/head is an index.  It works if I type in all the head loss equations individually, but I'd like to use a loop to automate it.  But, Mathcad doesn't seem to like it.   This works:   This doesn't work (no solution found):   Any way to get it to work?
