Hi everyone, I have a problem using the vectors to solve this ODE system in Mathcad Prime 3.1. I know how to do it without the vectors, but it would be great if I could solve the system also using them. Is it possible or do I have to give up?

Hello I have been trying to open Mathcad 7 files on the trial version of mathcad 15 and everytime I get the message "Mathcad Application has stopped working". They are crucial files needed for my research so I would appreciate any suggestion on what to do.I have also tried converting to XMCD to view using Mathcad Prime 3.1 but always gives the message "Unexpected error encountered during conversion"

When setting up Prime Analysis in Creo 3.0, attempting to list Prime input/output returns the error "No properly tagged Prime variables found".Variables have been set up in a pre-existing *.mcdx file and the file loaded in the Prime Analysis set up dialogue in Creo. On the Input/Output tab of Prime, I select "Show As List" and all my variables are listed, yet the Input Selection panel in Creo remains dismally empty. One hybrid Mathcad 15 sheet - one part with units and with a cloud function), one part without units! In Prime no problem but Prime has not animation! What can you say about it? Do you have more optimal solution?     Physical Mathematics  

Hi everyone, I am attempting to plot one column vector against another (one contains my x values and the other contains my intended y values). I embedded an excel sheet into mathcad and added units to the data. When trying to plot two vectors of the same length, I get "value must be real" error. There is nothing complex in my calculations. Im sure this is something simple, please help!Thanks,Chris

MCD15 has very nice plotting capability.  Plots can have a background grid so that values on the plots can be determined.  MCD Prime 4.0 plots do not have this feature which is annoying.

I have found an error in vector multiplication when the length of one vector is reduced to just one.  It should not throw an error, but does, stating that "These array dimensions do not match", which is just ridiculous.   Of course, there are workarounds, but this should be corrected.   Thoughts anyone?

I am new to Prime and have a basic question. I have a 2 page worksheet with the pages arranged left and right. When I print it out, I only get the left page and the footer says page 1 of 1. How do I get the right hand page to print?

Is it possible to produce subscripts or superscripts in text mode with prime 3.0 or 3.1 ?   if so how ?

Hello,   Say I have a matrix called Y that is (21x21)  and I have matrix A that is (3x3). I would like to have matrix A placed in Y starting at Y1,1 so that  Y11=A11 Y12= A12 Y13=A13 Y21=A21 Y22=A22 Y23=A23 Y31=A31 Y32=A32 Y33=A33 I am new to using mathcad, thanks for the help.

I created delimited text file (XYData.dat) by means of python sentence '\t'.join(seq)+'\n' I`m trying to read delimited text file by means of READFILE command without success.   I can`t understand why tab symbols have different length (I discover this in Notepad+), may be this is the reason. And I can`t understand why MC separate commas in my strings (x,y,z becomes x y z). Data import wizard works good! Here attached two files for reference. Thanks in Advanced

Hi,   This question is for Mathcad Prime 4.0. I have a sheet caluclating and plotting the true stress-strain of various materials. Now, I want to copy these values into a FEA software. To me, it looks like you cannot copy directly from variables and functions, so I figured I try to put in the data in an embedded excel sheet and copy from there. However, I ran into problems here as well.   I've figured out how to write the stress values (sigma_t) to excel. How can I write the values of the strain (epsilon_t) into column B?

I am trying to use MathCAD to rearrange this equation to find e: but when I do symbolic solve it says no solution found. what am I doing wrong? If I do it as a solve block I can get a an answer for e, but I need to rewrite the equation so that I can put it in an excel sheet to do the calculations for furture use.  Thanks in advance for the help. 

Hi everyone, i have a problem when write a program about aeroelasticity   When i type "subscript letter" by press "." , Mathcad said the letter "A1, A2, A3, E1, E2, E3 "  : "this variable is undefined" But when i type it by "[", Mathcad said with "g(k)" : this array index is invalid for this array   Please tell me how can I fix the problem? Hi everyone, I have a problem regarding the time it takes for my computer to plot all the graphs and do the calculations in the attached file (it takes around 15-20 minutes). My question is, is there a way to optimize the calculations or do I just need to buy a more powerful laptop?P.S. I use Mathcad Prime 3.1

Hello all first of thank you all for being quick to answer my questions since I'm a mathcad newbie. But to the question is there a way to place a variable in a text string so when the variable changes the text changes too?

The only way I know to get a numerical answer is to add an = sign at the end of my symbolic evaluation started by -->. Is there any way to skip that step and have Mathcad directly solve my problem numerically? I'm doing some nasty integrals right now and I don't need it to solve it symbolically if it will take forever.   Thanks!

Hello,   I'm looking to reduce a dataset of 25 points to a surface curve fit.  An older program (and required to be used) generated the points in question.  Rather than spending many more hours on input the values, I was hoping to get a curve fit to the equations.  Two variables of distance (x) and elevation (y) provide and output of heatflux (Q).  I'm looking to essentially extrapolate the data into a large portion of points that will undergo more transformations pending the target geometry.   However, I'm unsure how to appropriately reduce the data.  There isn't any issue with generating a x^3 curve for more than 3 points of data (as I've done before), but I'm seeming to be inputing something incorrect into MathCAD for trying to reduce the data to an appropriate approximation.   In addition, if somebody knows a way to accomplish this task in excel, that would also be benificial (though I question if excel has that power built into it). &nb

Hi Everyone!I've been using Mathcad for a while and I believe it is a powerful tool. But in the last week I've been experiencing a problem. I need to create a dynamic link between Excel and Mathcad as the raw data I am working with is too much to be just copied or imported. There is a constant 'flow' of new information going straight into the excel file and I need it to be linked directly to Mathcad.
