The focus of this study is to discover which factors affect the gas mileage of a vehicle by selecting and adjusting 4 quantitative factors.For the study we will use 3 different approaches.1.  A non-statistical approach for determining which factors and 2-way interactions should go into the prediction equation.2.  A statistical approach called ANOVA (ANalysis Of Variances) to assist making the decision in 1)3.  Using Regression for the prediction

Not sure if this is a glitch as such, however, when I have switched off show border for region, it still shows up in print preview and when printing.Has anyone else experienced this?Thanks

Hi!I can't find the reason why mathcad leaves the unit in the last row "y=5.5x10^7".

Here is the Mathcad 11 sheet that solves nth order differential equations with constant coefficients, referenced in the document thread with similar name here: A Classical Math Problem from a Classical Text (Differential Equation).Note that this, as it is, is NOT usable for:- Systems of differential equations,- Differential equations where the coefficients of the derivatives are not constants (when they depend on t).But in both cases, similar techniques can be used to solve specific systems.Luc

I have a time domain function (damped sine) in MATHCAD that needs to be fft, then attenuated by a frequency dependent vector. To do that I need to:- perform fft on function- interpolate the fft with the attenuationI have tried VECTORIZED with no success. Can anyone help with creating a vector/matrix from a function?

I'm rather frequently get stuck with Mathcad 14 claiming that a variable is not defined- but its not a variable but a function at the left side of a find statement,The solve block indeed works pretty well with a vector on the left side of the find statement.I have the impression that copying into a new sheet sometimes helps. I think this is an error by design.any help is highly apreciatedthanks

After upgrading to Mathcad 15 M040 I'm no longer able to open one of my files, "Unrecoverable error, two regions skipped". Same file still works perfectly with M030. Did someone had similar issues? Had to uninstall M040 and get back to M030

My university used 3.0 and at home I have 3.1. Not allowing 3.1 files to be opened on 3.0 seems like a money grubbing thing. I find it hard to believe that the programs are so different that they are completely incompatible. PTC seems to be just trying to force people to pay them more money.

I am working on the JONSWAP wave spectra analysis in-line with DNV-RP-F109 and having trouble soling the equations in the attached worksheet. The standard indicates that the wave number can be established by iteration from the transcendental equation, but I can’t for the life of me work out how to do it. Mike
