Mathcad

I have 28 years of hourly measured data and I need to extract the maximum value of each 12 month period from the 1st of July to the last of June. The data is in an Excel file. The first column contains the data in the form of YMD e.g. 2023-09-18. The second column contains the hour e.g. 01:00:00. The third column contains the measured parameter e.g. 18.9. Is there an "easy" way to extract the maximum of each 12 month period, using Mathcad Prime? I have the latest version. Kind regardsBjörn 

This is for Mathcad 15 although I would like to apply later to Prime 8.0.  My goals are for all of the boolean variables to be active for all portions of the sheet.  I want to defeat the top-down, left-right programming in the sheet.  See attached. 

I was handed a 43 page PDF document and told to read this to get my license installed.  The PDF document makes no sense to me - it's all gibberish as far as I'm concerned.  My guess is that this document covers every license file case for every product that PTC owns.   Just so you know - I don't spend every day of a 365 day year installing licenses for PTC products.   I install my license once a year.  I'm just not going to remember how it works for my case.   It would be easier if I was handed the text license file.  That's what other companies do.  Why Can't PTC just email me the license file and skip all the convoluted hoopla?   So, how I'm I going to get my license file?  Please.  

So i had to do some work in laplace. I used matlab instead because mathcad couldnt figure out the answer. My matlab script does it no problem and returns the equation in this attached sheet. I have removed the numbers for simplicity. This is the time domain inverse laplace equation.  The answer is correct. When i input the number i get what i expect. the problem is, i need this to be in mathcad to go with some other work.When i add it to mathcad, it does not like the units. The sheet i have attached is just doing the math with the units to show where the problem is. Mathcad is upset because in a certain part of the equation its multiplying Volts by ohms This is just a fact of what the inverse laplace is. The answer of the equation should have units of seconds.  I have no idea how to make this work. Im sure there is some trick to this. Can someone lend a hand?

Hello everyone, I encountered problem in solving the equation which is in format of >=.I wrote the equation but there are two problems:1. the equation in format >= doesn't give straightly answer for the result of deltaP. (attached in the picture)2. there are issues with the units as the software doesn't generates units automatically which assuming it's related to the first issue mentioned in 1 as it's not giving direct answer for delta P. Please kindly advise to resolve this I attached the Xps file of this in this context.Thank you

Dears I've noticed that most of the licenses from our clients are tied to dongles. Mathcad Prime 7.0 can be installed, but 8.0 cannot. The licensing has been upgraded to 8.0, so is it because the license is tied to the dongle that I can't perform the installation?Or do I need to install additional software like C++ 2005? I have read through the installation documentation, but it does not explicitly mention whether the license can be tied to a dongle, or perhaps I overlooked that information.Please help clarify this for me. Thank you.

I apparently do not understand how to use a function defined in a solve block to get results for a range (vector) of variables.  It works for a single input, but not a range of inputs. Any help is appreciated. Note; the attached file is Mathcad 15.  You will need both the xmcd and the xlsx files.  They are attached. Thanks again.

The solution does not require advanced mathematics, but is very challenging. I have attached a German language file MC14. I saved myself a translation into English because the solution should be self-explanatory with little translation help. Examples are included at the end of the file.In the solution, a recursion is constructed based on starting values that have yet to be found. And that's my problem. My programming knowledge is not sufficient to find starting values and apply the recursion described in the solution - I therefore ask for help.

Dear colleagues, I have used the attached "Outlier Rejection procedure" for over 20 years to detect outlier data from acquired thermo-structural tests.   I have tried, unsuccessfully, offering the procedure to AEDC (Arnold  Engineering Development Center) because I use one of the two Outlier Detection Methods but they have not shown interest. Vers: MathCAD Prime 7.0.0.0See screen grab attached.I'm not that hot on mathcad so excuse the lack of termiknowledge.Essentially I've created a function which outputs a 'list' of values I then go on to change the input values producing new 'lists'.I would then like to evaluate the first value of each list against the others, however, I believe the 'lists' need to be any of; an array, a vector or a matrix. Which I'm assuming they're not going by B[1]= failing to return a value.My attempts to convert them have failed: (units are not compatible)As you can see at the moment I've just typed out the first value of the 'list'.Any help is appreciated.Cheers,J  

I'm having an issue where I need to do division, then eliminate the decimal portion of the answer and only keep the integer. I've successfully used both trunc() and floor() for this application in the past. But when the quotient results in an exact integer (like 84/12=7 in my example), Mathcad rounds down to 6 instead of returning 7. I'm assuming this is the result of some approximation internal to how Mathcad does division. Like it's really calculating 6.99999999999999... maybe? Are there any work arounds for this? Obviously I can just make the equation 84/12, but this is in a template that I'm trying to make apply to all cases.

I have this issue that I can not activate my 30day trial license in my computer. The tab prmots that the license is activated, see the first figure, however I promts me this error.This is the error that I have been prompted with. I have to mention that the license is not older than 30 days.

Hello, I've been working on a 2-DOF calculation sheet in Mathcad and encountered some difficulties. I've attached two attempts at solving the problem, but unfortunately, neither of them seems to be working as expected. Could someone help me provide guidance on how to correctly solve this 2-DOF problem in Mathcad? I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0We have somes old Mathcad 15 files that we need to convert to Prime but they have locked sections and we don't have a Mathcad 15 software anymore to open and unlock it. What are our options excepting to redo all the files from scratch?I try several times to open a case to PTC but for somes reasons the button open a case doesn't work...Thank you!
