Hello All,I have two worksheets:1.  Fourier Transforms 2. Sampling with Fourier (Next Post).They are not as clean as the Fourier Series more on learning outcome.In sampling a signal was taken thru several steps to get the final sampled signal with a filter applied.If there are any major errors which there might be let me know.Not using the signal pack functions, just the mathematics of Fourier to apply to the signal.Cheers and Thanks.Karl S Bogha.

Hi,When I print to pdf in Mathcad 15 I always get random horizontal lines that show up in the pdf file. When I print to paper printer it's OK and when I print preview they are not there. The lines only show up in the pdf created document. They are usually over half to 3/4 of the page.I've tried multiple different pdf programs but the bug is common across all of them.How do you fix this, has someone found a free pdf writer that doesn't have this issue?Please excuse me if this question has already been answered, I couldn't find the question / solution on here.Thanks,Dave

If i have a vector A=(0.45, 1.78, 0.82, 0.95, 1.99,  1.12, 0.77), how to create a vector B that contains only B=(0.45, 0.82,  0.95, 0.77); only values that are lower than 1. The other values may be 0 for example.

Hey guys,i have a very special problem with the equations i postet here. I dont get rid with a right formulation with the on error function. My problem: during a very long calculation i need to make this Iteration calculation. Sometimes it is possible that the Iteration here is not finding a value for Dp. When it is the case, i want to use DShr insteat of Dp.When using DShr insteat of Dp, %D1 is 0 and i can quickly see, when the Iteration is not finding a value. But my problem is that im not getting rid how to correctly define the on error function as vectorising. Because it could be possible, that the first row is OK and only the second ROW of the input vectors lead to a problem in the Iteration. That on error function needs to vectorise Plzzzzzz help me,Thx, Stefan

I try to use lsolve to find coordinates of unknown Bezier control points. But mathcad 15 doesn`t like vector v which consists of vector values.Does it means that I need to solve system for each component of point coordinate,i.e. one time for x and one more time for y?

When will PTC put background color-changing functionality back into Mathcad?

As the title says I've been using mathcad for school for about a year and know the basics decently well.  I am working on a thermodynamics problem but I am getting a no solution found error when I try to solve for v1. If anyone could take a look at this and figure out why I'm getting this error it would be greatly appreciated.  I also plugged values into excel to make sure there is indeed a solution and v1 should come out to be something between 200 and 300 m/s.  Thank you so much for any help!

Hello,I'm using Mathcad Prime 3.0 for a mechanical engineering project at university. Obviously the keyboard I'm using has an italian layout. When I try to use the keyboard shortcut for exponentiation (^) a logical operator appears (instead of "x^y" I obtain "x if |y|"). So the only way possible is to use the ribbon, but it's a big time wasting procedure, if you have to do it again and again and again...PTC already knows about this bug because other users have reported it already when Prime 1.0 and later Prime 2.0 have been released (http://communities.ptc.com/message/167763#167763).The only way to solve the problem (for the great number of Italian students that use this software) is 1) change the keyboard profile to the english one;2) use the "^" keyboard operator (pressing shift+6);3) swap the keyboard profile to italian again.I really hope PTC will solve this very well known bug sooner or later. I want to save some folders with the  Windows command prompt, in safe mode before doing a complete system recovery. I would like to know what are the most convenient options to copy from c:\xxxx  in a pen drive an entire folder and all subfolders  , with the command "ROBOCOPY" from the command prompt? I had Mathcad Prime 2.0 on my old work computer, which saved files in a .mcdx format.  My new work computer has Mathcad15 on it and saves files in a .mcdz format.  I don't seem to be able to open my old files.  Is there a way to open my old files with Mathcad 15?  Or do I need to re-create them?

Hey guys,I have not been able to find a solution to my problem, so if there is one that has already been posted, I am sorry. Anyways, I need to convert my Mathcad Prime worksheet into a .pdf. The problem is that my worksheet stretches past the standard margins Mathcad uses, so when I print it as a .pdf, half of the sheet gets cut off. Does anyone know how to create the .pdf for the entire sheet rather than just the margined part? Here is a screenshot of some of my Mathcad program:

Dear all,Is it possible to differentiate a discontinuous (sawtooth-like), piecewise defined function (displacement vs. time) twice so that I get an acceleration curve without spikes?This question concerns the more recent Mathcad Prime incarnations (v3/3.1).This could be a trigger for my boss to acquire a Mathcad license, since I am currently working in SMath (a free Mathcad-like prog). However, things in SMath don't evolve like I want...I used to work in Mathcad 13-15, where I once performed Laplace transforms for integration of discontinuous functions, but I don't know if this approach also applies for differentiations?Thanks in advance for any feedback!Kind regards,Jan
