Hello,It is possible to wrap a longer formula in Mathcad-Prime, so it can fit in the boundaries of the page ? Jeff
Hello,i use Mathcad Prime 3.1, 64bit Version under MS Windows 8.1 Pro x64. In a bigger worksheet (ca. 20 pages) the following definition leads to an error as shown in the attached Picture: If i copy this definition in a new file, it works properly. If i delete the definition and copy it back from the other sheet, Mathcad Prime crashes and shut down (very slowly). What may be the reason for such an error? Many thanks for any answer.Kindly regards, J. Dessecker
Hi, I'm having trouble with the attached document. I'm not getting the right answers.... or any answers at all. ThanksJackie
I have a set of data that has appx 27,000 lines. The data is in excel. I can plot the data from tables but is it possible to animate the data starting from the beginning of the data? The data mimics a hysteresis graph and plots nicely. I would like to animate the data.
I need to expand this summation, but the coefficients a_n are taken as constant, instead of a_1, a_2, ....a_nI cannot define a_x, because they are unknown, and I need the symbolic answer, not a numerical one. Also, how do I get the factors of x^1 first? (it starts win x^20)PD: Can I write latex in this forum?
Hi..I have installed Mathcad Prime 3.1 and as PTC announced in his promo that Mathcad Prime 3.1 comes with API.But I am not able to get how use it. As I search for user guide but unable to get it.So please can you help me to get userguide or let me know how to use Mathcad Prime 3.1 API ?Thanks,Prashant
The attached Mathcad 15 worksheet (hopefully more folks can open this instead of Prime 3.1 format) is being created to determine the shear, moment, slope, and deflection of a simply supported beam. Towards the end of the worksheet I am attempting to create a vector that includes the point loads (y), distributed load start points (zs), and distributed load end points (ze). Is it possible to write a function that creates a vector with a total length of the sum of these smaller vectors and sorts the values by increasing length? The points in this vector give the points where the moment function is discontinuous .The total length of the vector will change as the number of point loads and distributed loads change. Once this vector is created I'd like to use it as integral bounds to determine the centroid of the moment function between discontinuous points. Is it possible to set the vector and the vector +1 as integral bounds? As always, thank you for your help.
I have created I think most difficult function of IAPWS-IF97 formulation - the function wspV3PT(p, T) - specific volume (of density) of water/steam near the critical point (region 3) - see the description this function and the link on my on line calculation here http://www.iapws.org/relguide/IF97-Rev.html Mathcad animation has a lot helped me to find bugs my wspV3PT function! See one animation above! Unable to play video. Please try again later.(view in My Videos)
I did the program correctly. But, when I try to plot i(n) versus vk. I am gettting error as "All evaluations result in error or a complex result".can anyone help me.Thank you.
Hello again,i'm stuck with the following definitite integral:As you can see, the function is quadratic in x, but Mathcad Prime isn't able to evaluate the indefinite integral as ist seems. The integration variable should not appear at the right side...What could be the reason for this behavior? Many thanks for any Response.Kind regards, J. Dessecker
Hello,in this calculation, the result should be 't1' (as you can see easily): Why doesn't Mathcad Prime 3.1 simplify this term correctly? Many thanks for any answer.Best regards, J. Dessecker
Hello,i have a sheet with at this time five pages (thats the beginning...). There are two Pictures on page 1. Since i have calculated two very complex vectors from IR^3 (at page 5), the regions in the whole sheet move without any action. This is very, very annoying. How can i prevent this?Best regards and mnay thanks for any answer, J. Dessecker
I want to see the values of f(n) by using the find command. But i am getting the error as variable is undefined. Please help me.Thanks in advance
Dear PTC Community Users. I attached a simple file about Distributed Forces (Beams - Internal Effect). The force V is called the shear force and the couple M is called the bending moment. Theseeffects represent the vector components of the resultant of the forces acting on a transverse section of the beam.Regards SBL
Hello there,Has been a long time since I use prime, but there is some shortcuts that Idon't know how to do it:Equals to, like CTL + =Its like impossibrl becouse o use = on my PC its SHIFT + 0, and I try CTL+SHIFT+0 and CTL+0, what i'm doing wrong? One more thing, I have a fractions like 2/(2s+8), how can I choose numerator or denominator?regards,LL
A professor of physics at the MEI told me the following story, or rather told of such a trend. After the lab, students should in the same laboratory hooked to a computer, open a settlement site on the Internet, enter it on the stand received the experimental data, process them and the least squares method to obtain the desired functionality and graphics depending on the evaluation of errors....So, more and more students do not sit down to the computer and take out their smartphones, go through them to the correct site and enter the initial data, working (and quite cleverly) ... thumbs of both hands. On the question of why they do not use computers, these students say that they have almost forgotten how to work with a normal computer keyboard. And you say - Mathcad.PTC!Where is Mathcad for smartphones, tablets etc?
Hello all,Am trying to present my data in a box plot:Is it possible to add a label to each of my boxes? Ideally under the X axis inline but anywhere on the graph would be fine. Looking at how it generates the plot I would think not but doesn't hurt to ask.I would also like to change the y axis to a log scale but it's complaining that I have a non positive value in my dataset? Clearly from the data this shouldn't be the case.Lastly is it possible to look into the code behind the "boxplotgraph()" function, and modify it to do something different?

Hello,I am thinking to update my mathcad 15 to mathcad prime 3.0 and I was wondering if prime 3.0 has automatic content like microsoft office. Please has anybody prime 3.0 and know to say me if it has smth like this?Thank you
Hello,I was learning the Thomas algorithm and I got stuck at a point where it says "This array index is invalid for this this array"; I check the system but I couldn't find such a problem causing anywhere. I attached the mathcad code; any assistance will be appreciated
I have tested in Mathcad Prime 4 the MCDX to XMCD converterand have find one bug - see please the Mathcad 15 file
Fitzhugh-Nagumo Equation
Is possible to save a Mathcad 15 worksheet with all the plots so as to avoid the need for recalculating all the plots when the file is reopened
