for circular pipes flowing partially full
I have problem using the lookup function for tables with units (all data in mm).I was reccomended by a mathcad espert to use the built-in lookup function. However, this lookup does not give correct results when searching in the first column when the table has a unit.Does anyone have a solution for this?
I ran across several folks complaining about getting pipe network files to work, here is one that works. If you have more than a few pipes you really need specialty software in my opinion
Hello. I find myself trying to calculate the compressibility factor of natural gas based on the procedure of calculating the attached document and check if the template is crafted correctly with a given example therein. I do not know how I'm doing it is the most appropriate because I am newbie using M15, but in trying to solve a system of equations I get one of the variables is not defined. Hope you can help me and if there is something ridiculous in the preparation of such return please hagamenlo know.
This file was developed from a sampling study I did several years ago. I posted it as a pdf file because I did not upload the data set.
GreatingsCan some body show an example of how to apply the Central Difference Formula to solve ODEs, please? Thank you
Please help me, i can t open.
The possibility of offset inertial force associated with the atomic realm is presented wherein a random segment of the energy level is formed pointing in random directions for each action. The average segment width restricts the total potential force to 1/2pi in width so that energy is conserved. As a result, it may be possible to align the segments in bulk material such as stone so that the stone would lift itself. This could be acheived through concurrent acoustic as well as electric and magnetic waves. Ordinarily, the orientation of the segmented actions would produce only atomic vibration and/or Nyquist noise. Suggested possibilitys are how Edward Leedskalnin lifted huge monoliths of coral and how the Great Pryamid was built. --Jerry E. Bayles
A unification of gravity scales across the electrodynamics realm wherein the units are in agreement throughout the scales of the electric, magnetic and gravitational forces. This is possible due to the development of an expanded expression for Newton's gravitational constant (G) so that quantum terms are included which arrive at the same numerical and units result as for the ordinary G constant. Contained in the new form of G is the plank radius as well as the fine structure constant and also the coulomb charge of the electron. The vector magnetic vector potential (A) plays a key role in the total electrogravitational expression. Results for energy, momentum and mass are discussed. --Jerry E. Bayles

When you purchase PRIME the only thing that worth to you is that you get MC 15 ... You can put PRIME in the drawer of the your desk and start to work with the real software... MC 15. Thanks to god that we get MC 15 ... (As a converting tool ... But who want to convert his documents to useless PRIME ?)There is no way to buy only MC 15... This is a very strange way to promote a new worse product ... Remember, PTC can force us to have PRIME in the drawer ... but never force us to use it !!!I hope MC 15 will live forever ! - Or at least until PTC will wake up ...SHEMY
I have another question. I want to make graph about my data.x-axis will be used by right data in the picture. y-axis will ble used by left data.thank you for reading my question. (I attached my file)
PTC Mathcad is adding support for Windows 8.1 operating system in the Prime 3.1 and 15.0 M040 releases, while at the same time dropping support for XP and Vista. In addition, we will be retiring all support for versions 11-13 on April 1st, 2015. Please see this blog post for more detailed information.
Hello. I know there was a compatibility issue with W8 but was just wondering of that has been resolved? I would like to run my copy of MC13 on my laptop but have been forced to use older, MC2001 instead. Of course I can't open files created in MC13...Thanks
I have installed Mathcad 15 on my computer with a trial license but it will not open. I tried installing MSXML 4.0 but this did not resolve the issue. I am operating windows 8, 64bit.Do you have any suggestions?
In this file I used Mathcad to simulate a pump curve. However, one needs to be careful when doing this because pump curves cannot be simulated beyond that given by the pump manufacturer.
I am a korean so I can't write well about my questions. But I will try to write.I want to express 'Loop'. Let's we suppose two equations. One is X=Y^2+2Y+3. The last is Y=X^2+3X+5.I can find adequate value by finding convergence between X and Y. But I can't express in MATHCAD. I think I need to use 'While' to express..How can I express it to use 'while'?
UPDATE 2014-10-06 (rev 3): I am finally done with NGAS (I think). Over the weekend, I developed programs to size service connections to meet both the pressure and velocity criteria, not just to meet the pressure criterion as in Revision 2. Here is what is now in the .zip file:Lusk_NGAS_Distribution Systems.mcdx & .pdf — This worksheet calculates flows and pressures in a natural gas distribution system consisting of a multi-segment Main Line and up to two service connection branches at each Main Line juntion node. Design pipe sizes are found by trial and error, specifically by editing the pipe data until the design criteria are met or met close enough for your purposes.Lusk_NGAS_Unit Conversions.mcdx & .pdf — This worksheet shows how to convert natural gas demands and flows from one set of units to another and discusses ways to determe the peak demands to use for design. This worksheet functions as an appendix to the other seven worksheets.Lusk_NGAS
This is a file that was developed and used in a court case involving drainage. In this file I go into some depth in using the Rational Method to compute the peak flow from a catchment. I felt that this catchment was made for the Rational Method.
A dynamics problem involving 3d motion. I solve the problem using vector arithmetic rather than vector diagrams, which would be quite difficult. In my opinion getting students use to daily use of matrix algebra makes doing such problems easier. The problem is that the student has to learn to "trust the math" rather than a visual vector diagram.
Has anyone figured out how to use the OCDB kit? I am in the process fo converting from MathCad 15 to Pirme 3.0 and there is quite a learning curve on this. Does anyone have example files that they can share.
The attached contains an expression I wish to use in a solver to determine x-amount of constants (the Q's) from a system of an equal amount of equations and unknowns (the constants). The problem in mathcad arises when I'm using multiple (two) arrays within the solve block.
Hello one & all-I did a Mathcad course a few years back but have never actualy used in since-I remeber during the course that you could solve equations, for example, if 2x + 3z=y, find the value of x?Moved offices and have lost my course book( know it's here somewhere!) but any tips & tricks on how to solve equations-remember you had to type given in the math page but twasa looong time ago! Cheers all!!Graeme
