Hi all,I downloaded the Mathcad trial version and I am trying to import a file with extension .xmcd, but the conversione function doesn,t work. Please can you help me?Thanks
I installed the trial and only have basic features. Believe my 30 day trial was for the full featured Mathcad Prime 8.0. Otherwise, there is not way to trial all the functionality.
Good day,I am working as an IT Support for an international company that has a license for PTC.We have received a request from one of the Italy based users asking for installation of the software Mathcad.Checking "older tickets" regarding this matter I see that there were already few installations done in the past, the license is provided, however, we lack on information, setup files regarding the software.I have already contacted software distribution Team in our company however, since the last registered installation was about 3 years ago no one seems to be able to find any installation file / license/ application owner contact, no info whatsoever regarding the software. Can you please assist?Waiting for some direct contact from PTC Support engineers.Thank you,Kind regards,Edyta
Need the MathCAD 15 license connected.
MathCad gives an error when I try to write an expression on it.The error: An Unhandled exception occurred on the dispatcher thread. See ....log.How can I solve this problem.
Please make the license available. Please respond to this.
I'm trying to activate the product online, but can't do that due to server error. I need this pretty urgently please. Best regards, Michal
So below is my email transcript trying to get a valid product code for Mathcad 8 purchased last month. The email they provided bounces (not monitored). I was able to finally get through on the number for technical support and the person was confused why I didn't receive an email with the code. He suggested I call the e-learning library support number because that package was bundled with the software. No relief however. So I guess my only recourse is to walk away from the software and my license fee. This company is totally incompetent. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Dear Thank you for contacting the PTC online store. Please accept our apologies; all products ordered through the PTC online store are ineligible for a refund. This is outlined in our refund policy, located at: https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://store.ptc.com/store/ptc/en_US/DisplayReturnAndCancellationsPage__;!!LkSTlj0I!B8wNvAhGVBulEI1vTJ-Ri1PStBLPVtUL-F_G-
I keep receiving the error "an unhandled exception occurred on the dispatcher thread". I have tried different methods presented in the community solution section. However, none did work.
What's going on? I can't create a support ticket. Has that feature been removed from PTC? If not then provide a link. I can't seem to navigate to an area to create a support ticket. Whatever.
I created a case for this last year - but it seems that PTC has deleted all of the old cases (why?) - so now I'm back to zero again. As always, I've paid for a license and would like to use MathCAD 15 - but, lack needed information for installation.
I dont have the installation fileUsually I got this from my school teacher. But I cannot contact him right now and I need Mathcad for my exam
It happens from time to time (within week) that my Mathcad installation forgets the Server name in the License Setup Window. So I always have to correct the server location again and again. I don't have ever provided any "localhost" server, anyway it randomly shows up ...
When running the PTC Web Installation Assistant, once I reach the Application Selection step, there are no applications available for me to select to install.
I am trying to log in to Mathcad (through the desktop application itself) to activate my 30-day free trial so I can complete my homework, however it keeps telling me my credentials are incorrect despite me verifying them numerous times. Any reason this might be happening?
I get an email asking how difficult it was to renew. I click the link - and I'm on a page where every thing is written in what looks like Chinese. I don't read or speak Chinese. The original email is written in English - so, how would it make sense to link a Chinese page? This is just lacking common sense. Oh, and I still don't have a license. Whatever.

I have MathCAD PTC 7.0.0.0 (already installed)I have a license file (already generated) How do I connect MathCAD to that license file? Other software that I use usually has some type of built in license management - so, in those scenarios, you open the application and then point that application to that license file. Please respond
at the stage of "obtaining a license" it was written "Program ID already expired". What can I do about it?
I am using Mathcad Prime 6.0 6.0.0.0Dear Support,I have downloaded the C# WPF project for using the API Mathcad (https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r7.0/en/index.html#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help%2Fexample-2_ms_dev_studio.html%23) but it does not work (Problem to connect Mathcad Prime).I'm using Prime 6.0.Is this version compatible with your API ?ThanksRegards,IrénéeHere are the errors that I facedex.Message = "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {A00E8B95-D415-433F-A04E-D298A54A7BB7} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))."
I've paid for my license - but, I cannot retrieve the license. The link in the renewal email is bad (no license when clicking link). Then, I was sent a 43 page PDF document on how to set up your license - I followed those instructions - but those instructions are incorrect. No license. I'm in contact with Subscription Manager and the Credit & Collections Administrator - via email. I hope they will be proactive in helping me - but, at the same time I'm not expecting that level of service from PTC. I've also created a ticket of some kind - although, I'm not sure if the ticket actually got created or not - I'm just not sure. All other software that I purchase will provide a direct link to a license file, activation, or a license file will be sent directly to me in an email - and, typically, it takes about 5 minutes of your time. In stark contrast is PTC's hyper convoluted and dysfunctional license scheme.
