I am creating graphics with assorted annotations, each time I save them as image files (any type of image file, tiff, jpeg, png, etc.) I loose the orientation of the annotations. The file will save, but the annotations get all jumbled up, or pile up on each other. Am I missing something? Any ideas?
Hi All, Good evening! We are working on the detailing files, when the section/view name is created its in different format and text format. We need to change it manually everytime. Example shown below Section A-A, It must be SECTION A-A( Single space between section name and section) Regards ChethanThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. In order to create DataTables for wires and prefab cables in Creo Schematics, you have to create a CSV file in Excel. If you don't include required columns (as listed in the Help section), then this information won't import into Creo Parametric correctly for Logical Referencing. Prefab cables require three separate DataTables in order to be created correctly. Good luck understanding the information in the Help section for figuring out how to do this. This process needs to be simple and intuitive, with a modern interface that simplifies the creation of DataTables. There should also be error checking prior to XML export to ensure that it has the necessary columns / data for Creo Parametric.
Please we have a question: If there how to make my own blocks in the SOFTWARE CREO SCHEMATICS? ,If yes, tell us the steps to create our own blocks. Attached image. Thank you very much. Nancy Jácome ENERGYPETROL Quito - Ecuador
I've been going crazy trying to determine the value used to choose Creo View MCAD at startup in the preferences XML for Creo View. I have the option "startup_mode" in the XML file.If you set: <preference name="startup_mode" value="pvstandard"/>It will launch with Creo View Standard. If you set: <preference name="startup_mode" value="pvlite"/>It will launch with Creo View LiteOne document says "pvpro", nope. Another says "pvmcadpro", nope. Bot will not lauch Creo View at all. I have scoured the documentation and support site to no avail (surprise...).Anybody know this one?
Does anyone know how to force Creo View to use Document Mode 8 with Internet Explorer 11? We are running Windchill 10.1 M050, Creo Parametric 2.0 M140 and Creo View 3.0 M030. According to the PTC literature, all of these versions should be compatible with IE 11. We had to force Windchill to load in Document Mode 8 in order to get it to work. We are having an issue with Creo View, however, where it will not load CAD drawing or other images because its default IE document mode is 5. When using F12 to go to developer mode, we can manually change the document mode to 8 and then the image loads properly; however, as soon as a new Creo View session is loaded, the document mode defaults back to 5 and won't work again.Any ideas how to force Creo View to always use document mode 8 with IE 11?
Dear all,On some workstations, Creo View 3 does not print DRW files. The strange thing is that 3D models can be printed without any problems. Does anyone encountered this issue and perhapse have an idea to solve this? Thanks in advance!Regards,Michiel
Today when there is a new patch for Creo, the old installation needs to be uninstalled and the new version needs to be installed. If Creo offers within the product the new version available just like windows does or java does, it would be easier for customers to be aware of a new version. Moreover, this could be a benefit for sales as when a popup says there is new Creo 4.0 and click here to update and click here to view what is new, would already bring benefits when it comes to selling. I believe similar feature is available in solidworks. This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi! Has anyone ever used a JTree to assemble a structure that is in the Tree View? Note: The picture is just to illustrate. Thanks.
I need to ceate 300 illustrations for a service manual. Should I have one Creo Illusstrate file with all 300 illustrations in the one file asw 300 figures or have 300 seperate Creo Illustrate files. What are the pro and cons of each? Thanks
When i edit dimension value appers calc keyboard. This is useful when entering data from the tablet with touchscreen.
Some customers complain about the fact that, in Creo Illustrate, it is possible to modify leader lines of BOM Balloons (Item numbers), however, it is not possible to modify line thickness of the shape itself (if circle has been chosen, line thickness of the circle should be editable) Thickening just the leader line, for instance, creates a dubious image. It would be an improvement if not only leader line thickness can be modified, but the actual BOM shape line thickness as well.
Is it possible to change an objects color in Creo View MCAD? Thanks for your help. Bernhard
Hi all,is there anybody, who found out meanwhile, how to use the space mouse (3dconnection) for animations or sequences?I cannot find a way to make illustrate tracking the camera moves done by space mouse, regardsRolf

When we look at the program manager in windows, there are a lot of Creo products separately appears on the list (please see the screenshot). For simplicity maybe its easier to have one PTC Creo entry and when you click on uninstall, an uninstall wizard can popup and let users select which products to remove or update and which products to keep. This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Does anyone know where to find a list of command-line switches for Creo View (pview.exe -<something>)? I want to open a Creo view file and view an illustration in the file automatically.
It would be great to have the ability to define a bounding box by drawing a rectangle manually, before export to tiff, jpg or others.
create a figure and "Save figure as" with 300 dpi The resolution is obviously wrong and some fractal pixels are displayed in areas were colors are changing. Some customers need a better result here. (our competitor 3Dvia Composer creates better results)
hello, i've the needs to insert a link embedded into a figure of creo illustrate 3.0 . it's possible? i've not found documentation about it Thanks for attention Fabio Bragini
Is there any way to quickly save a .prt model to use in a power point presentation?
I have a problem to find ground symbol in catalog?
All, Has anyone found a way to disable the Custom Check In dialog window in Creo 2? It can be found in Creo Parametric, File, Check In, Custom Check In, then select OK to save the file. We publish upon check in of the object into Windchill from the Workspace or Creo, File, Check In, Auto Check In. Here is the Issues we are finding with Custom Check In: Models - No viewable gets createdViewable get created and attached to the object in PDMLink as an attachment Viewable gets created but not a thumbnail in the stand alone browser. Click default Creo View thumbnail and Viewable opens in Creo View
Hi pros, does anyone have successfully setup Oculus Rift and Xbox Kinect to work with CreoPro and/or CreoView? If yes, I would love to hear from you. Thank you, Dmitry
Bringing in too many attributes in item list pushes columns outside impossible to see. Then I want to be able to scroll sideways, right now its not possible.
