Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: Referencing the screenshot, I'd like to just be able to click the box and have a "download all" action.Description: Hello PTC community, I want to apologize if this is beating a dead horse. I've looked at a bunch of different posts regarding this issue or similar ones, but I can't figure out what the actual solution is.  This is a relatively tame change summary, but for the ones with multiple hundred parts I would prefer to not download each one by one. Ideally, I could even pick a general version, but I won't be that picky. Does anyone know of a simple solution (that's trusted) to achieve this?

We want to assign the object name 'TAFE_S325.5_46HP' to attribute values. We have 3 attributes: 'customer', 'emission', and 'engine'. We assign 'TAFE' to 'customer', 'S325.5' to 'emission', and '46HP' to 'engine' without underscores in the object name.

We are able to enter values for these attributes while creating the Change Request, but the values are not getting saved. How can we save the values to the attributes?"

This is impacting the production / RICHEMONT wants to know if behind the scene of this error there is a bigger issue. Import from spreadsheet does not allow import of attributes with cascading "Hidden" rules As for the workarounds:“Disable the condition definition for the IBA’s required/hidden constraint, thus the validation code will not be invoked”: removing the rule allows the import. But we cannot remove/introduce the cascading rule each time there is an import from spreadsheet. This workaround is not applicable for prod environment.“Make the IBA’s display name be same with its internal name , thus the validation code will execute smoothly”:If the cascading rule is enabled: the import fails in any case, even if the IBA’s display name equals the internal one.If the cascading rule is disabled: see 1/Also, you already asked to try this solution. We have a requirement of enabling grandfather revision for EPMDocument when imported to Windchill from source to target Windchill system.For example: If the revision for the EPMDocument is A in the source system it should have new revision as AA, AB, AC..., AZ on the target system after importing and revising.Similarly, if it is B it should have new revision as BA, BB, BC..., BZ on the target system after importing and revising.Is there any way to achieve this custom revision?

Hi, Windchill 11.1 M020, MPMLink I've created an mBOM, process plan with operations, representations and I can generate the work instructions as HTML pages. Are they stored somewhere and associated to either the process plan or the product variant itself? I can't find it anywhere.If not and as a short description states they're "dynamically generated" then how it's supposed to work on the shopfloor? How is the operator supposed to generate the correct set of instructions for the order they receive? Best regards

Disable the copyover from BOM Notes when the user executes a New Branch action to extend a BOM from one manufacturing site to another. After disabling propertie BOM Notes are still copying to new branch.Acording to PTC article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS406143?&as=1 there is technical limitation for the BOM Notes update in Windchill 13.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: We are looking to add a new IBA (attribute) to WTPart and make it editable through the "Edit Common Attributes" action in Windchill PDMLink. The key requirement is that:. We do not want the part to be checked out.Description: We need to enable editing of a custom attribute added to the WTPartMaster object in Windchill PDMLink through the "Edit Common Attributes" action available in the UI. This is commonly used to update shared attributes across multiple versions of a part without checking out the part.Although the attribute has been successfully defined on the WTPartMaster using the Type and Attribute Management utility, it does not appear on the Edit Common Attributes page, and currently, there's no direct way to expose or make it editable from this interface.

We understood that the translation vector(positional shift) and rotation vector(orientation) is relative to its immediate parent assembly. However, we want to understand the attributes in CADBOM or columns in epmmemberlink table that represent the transformation values with respect to top-level assembly. In Teamcenter, this is represented by Absolute Transformation Matrix. Absolute Transformation Matrix Definiton : It represents the transformation from the component's local coordinate system to the global coordinate system of the top-level assembly. Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I created a workspace for a new project and I opened an assembly in Creo (version 9) which was locally stored and saved as an assembly in a workspace in windchill. Then I created two drawings for two of the parts in the assembly and tried to check in my work.Description: When I want to check in my work and create an ECN for the drawings, the check in button is missing. The check out and undo check out button is there. Not sure why this happens now, since I've done it before. The same problem exists in other workspaces. The parts I recently saved are marked with the symbol "modifications need to be uploaded" I have tried uploading the local files and made sure they are located in a folder in the workspace. But I still dont have the check in button.  My colleagues cant see the parts i've saved in the workspace. I cant see it either when I open windchill online and try to create an ECN. They don't have the same issue with their own wor

Hi All,   I have added a custom table builder on create CT wizard page in which I have added attributes using Data utility. But unable to process and save these attributes on click of Finish. Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: During the Windchill upgrade, we want to restrict the general user base from accessing the Windchill UI to prevent any unwanted changes.Description: We are upgrading to Windchill 13, and now that we are using Active Directory with Single Sign on, I am wondering what others are doing to restrict access to the UI to only an Admin group during the upgrade process?We are already filtering AD with a specific group to provide access to Windchill.Is it possible to add an additional filter without causing all the users to become disconnected?The only solution PTC had to offer was restricting UI access to only the server on which Windchill is installed.  This will hamper our upgrade as we would only be able to have one Admin at a time logged into the UI to perform specific activities, and we would need to hold off on any of our accounts that connect to 3rd party apps until the end. Looking for alternate ideas if possible.  I have to imaging
