PTC Community Feedback

It appears like old items of the Jive forum are being moved to the Lithium forum (at last?). What's bad about it is that these items, dating back to 2012 and so, are on the top of the list as if they were entered today. This disrupts the chronological flow of discussions. Is there something that can be done about that? Luc
How do I change my email adress on PTC community?
I get this problem in both IE and Chrome. Does anyone else? I don't maximize my browsers so this is very annoying.
This new community had a very rough start. It is now beginning to take shape! Keep moving in this direction Thanks Tom
Our PTC Community Members are what make this community great! We are continually looking to improve our community space. We thank you for your assistance during the migration tracking period. Effective Oct. 1st, we will move the "Community Issues" board to a closed/private area so our internal teams can continue resolving any outstanding issues. However, we know it is still important to have a space to give feedback or suggestions specific to our PTC community. The more detailed and constructive the feedback is will enable the community team to make enhancements. The posts submitted here on this feedback board will reviewed during a monthly team meeting. The urgent, more critical matters will be handled as they come in. Thank you for participating in the PTC Community!
I'm trying to search for "&d", but I only get results for "d".
Moved to Windchill area for visibility.
All of a sudden it seems that editing a post (immediately after submitting it) is no longer possible. Bug or feature? Luc

I have been using the PTC Knowledge Base for almost two years now. I was wondering if there is a mechanism to provide feedback on articles, other than the one provided on each article page. Specifically a user, customer or VAR advisory group on improving the KB.
Hi, I wanted to check out the PTC community, but when I post a question in the 3d-modeling section and check the status of my post, it seems to get auto-rejected. Any idea why? Joakim
I am not getting all the email notifications from topics I am subscribed to. Specifically I am subscribed to the Creo modeling questions topic (https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Modeling-Questions/bd-p/CreoModeling) The post https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Modeling-Questions/Slant-dimension-for-Creo-3-0-M120/m-p/486583#M112824 has had several response to it that I have not gotten email notifications. I have gotten notifications for the original post and the latest posts (as of now) but not some from yesterday. I've gotten 5 notifications of replies but there are now 7 replies. The way I use the forum, I depend on email notifications to work. My company does have various spam filters and junk mail filters, I have checked them and no community emails being held up. On occasion, notifications will be delayed and I understand that but this is just one specific example of many email notification delays that is making the forum hard to use.
This announcement has been on for several weeks now. It's not particularly valid anymore.
Depending on your privacy settings, the people on your Friends List can see your biography, other personal information, or online status. Is there some way we can verify what other people are seeing? We used to be able to do this with Jive - preview what was visible both to anonymous and to logged in users. I've created some test content and adjusted the privacy settings accordingly, but I'm not seeing any indication that the information is actually being exposed. How can we easily verify that our security settings are having the intended effect? Thanks.
Is anyone else getting flooded with email notifications this morning? I literally am getting 1 email notification a second, dating back to PRO/E 2001....
Hoe do I edit a product Idea I created?
Good day everyone and welcome to the new PTC Community! While you are getting your feet wet and learning navigation, this post can help you. We have been working with the Lithium team to migrate all your content and make things simple. Please utilize the Search bar as well as the Browse dropdown in the header to find content and people you find interesting; you may also Subscribe to content that interests you. Within your profile you should see your bookmarks, subscriptions, and private massages. Please post your issues or questions here (others may have the same), and please introduce yourself. Cheers, Toby
Looking at past ideas it looks like if you up voted an idea in the old Jive system it carried over but the new Lithium system won't let you give your own idea an up vote? Am I missing something or just don't it wrong?
Hello, can you explain th mean of levels? Thank you best regards
How do I see comments as indented? In most of the Ideas and conversations, people reply within the coment to each other and indenting showed that flow.
Hi, Have I set something wrong somewhere? Our names used to come up when logged in. Now it's just the tag. Is this new intended (unintended?) forum functionality? 346GNU
Just saw this yesterday. I am not sure how it will change the migration (or our headaches). Lithium to acquire Jive External Online Community https://www.lithium.com/company/news-room/press-releases/2017/lithium-to-acquire-external-online-community-business-from-jive
I want to see the current recent activity regardless of group, type, etc. when I log on.
In PTC Mathcad Questions we still have only, for example, 7 labels for Algebra & Geometry, and 2 labels for Chemical Engineering. We had separate forums for both of those topics, and they certainly had more than 7 and 2 threads in them. A lot more. Hundreds. We now have 169,438 posts (it's not clear if that's actually posts, or threads, but threads would be a more useful number), which were sorted into categories. I thought the labels were going to be assigned based on the forums the threads came from. Or was that just wishful thinking on my part?
I notice in Mathcad questtions that you can go to page 999, which is exactly filled to the bottom of the page. That's either an astonishing coincidence, or everything beyond page 999 has just been deleted (because whoever wrote the software for the forums can't handle numbers as large as 1000), and presumably every time someone adds a new thread, one more thread will be deleted from the current content. Please tell me I'm wrong.
