PTC Community Feedback

Dear all, I found Creo Ideas page is hidden by default in MENU tab, there is no else place we can get into this except this entrance, can we adjust the layout to Creo community or some other visible place for customers as well as internal stuffs?

When a Windchill user needs to file an enhancement request, they are usually directed to this page on the PTC site (either from advice from a TSE or from a link in PTC Knowledge Base article): https://support.ptc.com/support/PTC_Product_Ideas.htm   This page directs users to the PTC Community home page. Additionally, the  PTC_Product_Ideas.htm page states: Where are Product Ideas for new functionality submitted? Once you enter PTC Community, click on Browse and locate the product that pertains to your idea. Under that product you will find an “Ideas” section where you can add, view, comment and vote on Product Ideas.   For a Windchill user, when they go to the Windchill forum the only Ideas board is for FlexPLM Ideas, which is for only one product within the Windchill suite of products--there is no Windchill Ideas board for PDMLink/ProjectLink users to submit their ideas.  It looks like the Windchill Ideas board is hidden under the Community > Ideas Exc

I don't see the "reply" link on the notification email? Maybe I'm jumping the gun, this notification was about 12 minutes after the annoucement.  

When listing my board subscriptions, the boards are only displayed with their direct name, not their full path. Therefore, I have an entry "Discussions", but I can't tell in which folder that is, there might be many boards called "Discussions". Request is to display the full board path somewhere.

In changing the design of this forum the way to embed (not attach) picture was dramatically change ti the worse. Before the change we could see the pic in the editor window and were able to resize it (not the silly large, medium,small option) using the mouse. Now the picture is not shown in the editor window at all (just the file name) and it looks like we cannot scale it anymore. This was an important feature when embedding screenshots made from a 4K display. We also don't get a preview of the picture before we chose to add it in the text as we got used to. Even worse when I open aa already sent post to re-edit it, there is no reference to an embedded picture in the edit window at all. How am I supposed to rearrange or delete an already embedded picture??   Please reenable the old behaviour - it was far away from being comfortable, but the new way is inferior worse.

I thought I was subscribed to the Creo Elements/Direct (Modeling_ Drafting) Board but I noticed today that there were new topics that I did not receive notifications (emails) about. I went to my subscriptions page and found that my subscription was there but when I searched my inbox and junk box I did not find notifications of these new topics. Next I deleted the subscription and then tried to resubscribe but when I go to the board there is no Subscribe option for me in the menu. On other boards I see it but not on the Creo Elements/Direct Board. Are subscriptions turned off for this board? 

With 100's of old ideas being marked as Acknowledged by the Community Manager, does that really do anything to getting these ideas in front of the product managers who make the decisions to resource an idea?   Product ideas should only be acknowledged or some other indication that PTC will be addressing the issue by a product manager.

In the past there was an idea for ModelCHECK. Its link was https://community.ptc.com/t5/Creo-Ideas/New-ModelCheck-Ideas/idi-p/470561. It contained several quite good suggestions for new checks. But the idea is not available anymore?!

Just to re-iterate, because it is getting VERY annoying. Can you (PTC/Lithium) please solve this bug where the forum will not accept valid Mathcad and/or Prime files as attachments. When I enter https://community.ptc.com URL into IE11 address field I receive HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. No such problem in Firefox and Chrome.

While in an IE browser I am continuously getting notified of past posts.  And this morning notifications icon at the top of the page showed 17 new entries but all of them are old.   The notifications has been going since I logged in almost 10 minutes ago.

I have recently returned to the MathCad Community after about 12 months absence. Whilst i might not be the most tech savvy user, the new system is completely non-intuitive. I thought I had posted a question, which on past experience would have been answered in a day or 2, but I cannot even find any record of my post let alone any answers in searches? What was once a brilliant community with fantastic respondents is now useless to me. Sorry but the "upgrades" are a serious backward step. Ross

I've noticed of late that the "Levels", which I understood to be a supposed indicator of expertise, seem to be randomly assigned. For example, I'm seeing users who signed up days ago, posted one question, and are at Level 3. Another with a total of three posts is at Level 6. Are these levels meaningless now?

Love the new menu here on the forum (https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Community-Announcements/New-Menu-Style-Coming-Soon-to-a-PTC-Community-Near-You/m-p/497259#M19).  We finally have a usable means of navigation.   Any chance we'll get a more logical order for the items in the menus?  Alphabetical would make sense, but if there's some other hierarchy that would be fine.  It's pretty random now.   Also, when I click on Get Help > Documentation I seem to get to the documentation page, but it shows and error at the top.  Not much info, just "an error has occured"      I reported it to the link in the error message as well.   Also, it looks like there's a new dialog box for image uploads.  It flows off the bottom of the page with no means of scrolling.

How does one get from the main community page to the "PTC Community Information Center"? Is there a link from the main page?

When viewing Product Ideas in the new platform, how do we know the status of the Idea? In the old platform we could see if it was open for voting, closed for voting, considered for implementation or implemented.   I found two posts in the Welcome & How-To's community, but I cannot reply or create a new Topic there. Neither Topic had a definitive response.
