Hello, I'm trying to install Creo 2.0 Student Edition. The installation guide tells me to enter my product code (which I have) into the "Simply License Entry" field and to click "Install Licensing". Unfortunately, the text box is not an active field, and doesn't allow for any text entry. The "Install Licensing" button is similarly greyed out.I disabled my firewall and antivirus, and am running the program as an administrator in Windows 7. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hi folks,Can you suggest me, Is there any chance of using Pro-e WF 5.0 licence for Creo 1.0 /2.0 ?At present we are working on WF 5.0, But now we need creo 2.0. But creo 2.0 licence itself $12K. Hello to all,Trying to check in and move the Tetrix KOP library from the workspace to the CAD Models folder...that includes assemblies created by our team. One particular part hangs up the entire process...Message states..."Cannot check in place holder document CAD Part - set_screw_large.prt, A.1." Even when deselecting "set_screw_large.prt" Creo/Windchill still tries to push it up and it fails the whole batch process. Even when trying to delete the component and it tells me that..."A referential integrity violation occurred for this operation:" What a nightmare its a catch 22 situation, where one corrupt file hangs ups the whole process. It seems to be a single point of failure at its worst. Any chance I could share access to the Windchill workspace to have someone at PTC figure out this corruption issue? Is it possible to merge two letters created using the text tool in Creo 2 School's Edition into one new solid. The attached jpeg shows two letters which are created as seperate parts and have been assembled so that their undersurfaces are coincident. They have been purposely overlapped laterally.

Just learned the FTC Tetrix KOP had a couple of assemblies in it that referenced CAD files that no longer exist and needed to be updated before going into Windchill. As a validation step, Windchill will interrogate each CAD file to identify any and all dependencies it has. In some cases, Creo is okay with the missing reference and will continue working without any worries. Windchill on the other hand is not quite so forgiving and must be able to resolve all the references and dependencies. When Windchill cannot find these references and dependencies to other files, they will show up in the workspace as a "ghost" object which is identified by the ripped document icon. This is a common issue for people working primarily on their local hard drive and then trying to push their CAD files into Windchill with Creo. Recently i got a code to use on creo for my engeneering homework and i entered it on my laptop but it wouldent work well so i got a computer that it will work on but it wont let me re-enter the code is there any way of using that code again?

How did you come to the calculation of the maximum payload for each design? Is it in a worksheet or other source? So if we make our own design or redesign a given one we can take this into consideration.

Hi good morning.I am a freshman engineering course and I have a problem with CREO 2.0 PTR student edition.When I'm working on a piece and all is well, but to save the file and not refresh my screen. I remain visible save screen remains in the work area and visualize the piece. If I minimize the screen in the bar and back windows to maximize the working screen I get viaualiza clean but not the part. This occurs both in Parametrics, as in Direct.Working with Windows 7-64 bit, 4 Gb ram and the PC is a Toshiba Tecra A9 laptopcan you helpThank you very much.

Teams,We were finally able to get our hands on some (hopefully all) of the new Block Party - Tetrix kit of parts models.I decided the best way to go was to just add the new models to the existing Ring it Up kit. All of the new models have a "2013" suffix in the file name so you can easily grab just those if you'd like.Party on!Adam

When Mathcad 15.0 opens it uses "Normal" as the default template. Is there anyway that a different template can be used as the default upon startup?

We're having difficulties figuring out how to detect corn borers from the air. Are there any webinars planned soon or any hints on how to get started on this? We can't optimize our aircraft for this until we've figured out how it's done.

How does one control what parts and assemblies are visible when in edit definition with Creo Parametric 2.0? Oftentimes when having to re-lay out a Tetrix or 80/20 or Rexroth channel assembly when one highlights the one member the adjacent ones that I am trying to constrain to disappear. This disappearnace occurs from both the tree and from the workspace. If one selects "activate" all the other parts show up grayed out but "edit definition" is not available when a part is made active rather than the top tree structure. This behavior does not express itself with Creo Direct 2.0 which I have started to use for laying out the components but unfortunately does not give me the necessary granularity and control over constraints. Answer: Our Academic configurations contain many settings and templates, all intended to make Creo easier to use and learn. The top 10 reason we suggest that you use it are as follows:You can easily switch between selected unit systems and drawing standards.Each drawing template contains 4 standard views as well as an intelligent format/title block. The title block will automatically display the Description parameter from the part or assembly being displayed.Imported files (STEP, IGES, etc) will automatically be imported into a template model and if possible, automatically changed to a solid model. Without our configuration, imported models may be left as surface geometry and without standard datum planes, view names and layers, they can be difficult to work with.Each template part and assembly contains a saved Isometric and Trimetric view.All features are displayed in the model tree of assemblies.
