Hi good morning.I am a freshman engineering course and I have a problem with CREO 2.0 PTR student edition.When I'm working on a piece and all is well, but to save the file and not refresh my screen. I remain visible save screen remains in the work area and visualize the piece. If I minimize the screen in the bar and back windows to maximize the working screen I get viaualiza clean but not the part. This occurs both in Parametrics, as in Direct.Working with Windows 7-64 bit, 4 Gb ram and the PC is a Toshiba Tecra A9 laptopcan you helpThank you very much.

Hi,Would anyone advise me if there is an error on the global shop site?The cost listed for PTC Creo 2.0 Acedemic - One Year Term License is $330 for Australia yet the same product is listed at $199 in the US?I am required to use Creo Simulate 2.0 for one of my university courses next year and am concerned at the difference in price level.Regards,Laszlo

Teams,We were finally able to get our hands on some (hopefully all) of the new Block Party - Tetrix kit of parts models.I decided the best way to go was to just add the new models to the existing Ring it Up kit. All of the new models have a "2013" suffix in the file name so you can easily grab just those if you'd like.Party on!Adam

When Mathcad 15.0 opens it uses "Normal" as the default template. Is there anyway that a different template can be used as the default upon startup?

We're having difficulties figuring out how to detect corn borers from the air. Are there any webinars planned soon or any hints on how to get started on this? We can't optimize our aircraft for this until we've figured out how it's done.

How does one control what parts and assemblies are visible when in edit definition with Creo Parametric 2.0? Oftentimes when having to re-lay out a Tetrix or 80/20 or Rexroth channel assembly when one highlights the one member the adjacent ones that I am trying to constrain to disappear. This disappearnace occurs from both the tree and from the workspace. If one selects "activate" all the other parts show up grayed out but "edit definition" is not available when a part is made active rather than the top tree structure. This behavior does not express itself with Creo Direct 2.0 which I have started to use for laying out the components but unfortunately does not give me the necessary granularity and control over constraints. Answer: Our Academic configurations contain many settings and templates, all intended to make Creo easier to use and learn. The top 10 reason we suggest that you use it are as follows:You can easily switch between selected unit systems and drawing standards.Each drawing template contains 4 standard views as well as an intelligent format/title block. The title block will automatically display the Description parameter from the part or assembly being displayed.Imported files (STEP, IGES, etc) will automatically be imported into a template model and if possible, automatically changed to a solid model. Without our configuration, imported models may be left as surface geometry and without standard datum planes, view names and layers, they can be difficult to work with.Each template part and assembly contains a saved Isometric and Trimetric view.All features are displayed in the model tree of assemblies. I am brand new to Windchill and need a little help.My use case: I am creating Event Trees. The probability of a success or failure is a fixed probability. The events are user defined at this time. I am not using fault trees to calculate probability of success, or MTBF, etc.I looked through the on-line tutorials, but couldn't find anything that addressed Event Trees by themselves. Did I miss a tutorial?How can I print out the event tree as a picture like is shown on the screen as I am editiing, adding columns, etc.?Once I have an event tree, is there an easy way to reorder the columns (the events)?How can I save part of an event tree, to import it into another tree?Let's say I have a report that provides information about a branch or an event in the tree. In Creo Parametric, there is an application called Animate. Is it possible to do other animations besides exploding the model? If there is, how would it be achieved on a tetrix assembly in creo?

The attached Zip contains the Creo 2.0 Academic Edition assembly and a video output from the Animation.After creating the parts the base part was assembled using a default assembly constraint so that it cannot move.  The other parts were assembled using pin and slider mechanism constraints. Two snapshots were created, one with the lever raised(Open) and the other with it lowered(closed).Under the Applications tab, the Animation module was opened and a new key frame sequence created. Three key frames were added with an Open snapshot at 0 seconds, a Closed snapshot at 5 seconds and another Open snapshot at 10 seconds.  The timeline was edited to be 11 seconds creating a one second pause when playback is looped.The

I always get "Model is not generated" conflict message when I save the assembly after using Drag Components.Is this message informational or is this an error that I need to address? or can I ignore this message?Thanks,

I have registered a team and did not know their e-mail addresses at the time of registration. It said under the team e-mail box that I can add their e-mail addresses later. I have looked all over the sight and can not find out where to do this. I figured there would be some central place where I can update their names and e-mail addresses but I can not find it. Do I just re-submit the registration form with their e-mail addresses added in? If not, can someone please direct me to the proper location to do this?Thanks
