Who do we contact to have team member email addresses added to the Windchill database? I have tried to add them to the Windchill project but they dont exist in the database.

I have an academic license and I am trying to install Creo 2.0, downloaded on this page (MED-100WIN-CD-390_M070_Win32-64). Itsn't the first time that I install the program because the license was not working and uninstall it. But this time, trying to install it, the setup.exe doesn't work! I run it and nothing happens. I tried many things (run as administrator, run in safe mode, run with other compatibility ...) but nothing works when the first time I installed everything was fine. Also installer of trial version runs but the full version no. Hello, i'm new to PTC software and still strugling to understand it. I'm constructing something for my school project but i don't know how to add standart parts in my assembly. I understand there is no library with CREO but there is internet browser implemented through which i can download these parts from internet. I downloaded tapered roller bearing from 3dmodelspace.com but when i try to add it into my assembly it says "The file (...) was created with a commercial version of Creo Parametric and is not compatible with the version of Creo Parametric you are running." I have student edition ofcourse. Is there a way around? How Can i add standart parts into student edition assembly? Should i use different source of these models?

Can you recommend an available video that steps a team through using Creo Parametric with Windchill. We have multiple subteams (e.g. drives, acquisition, storage, shooter, ...). Each of these areas is working on CAD for their contribution to the team. They all have to integrate. Currently the only way we have figured out how to do this is to have the Drives team publish and assembly. Then have the Acquistion team use the Drives team assembly... and add their component... creating a combined drives and acquistion assembly. The Storage team pulls in the combined drives and acquisition assembly... adds the storage assembly... and publishes this new expanded assembly.... and so on until all of the team components have been added.I am guessing this is not the normal or recommended processes. I am looking for what is the recommended process for multiple teams to work independently... but still be able to pull in the latest design updates from other teams to validate integration requirements.

Pictured is the top part of our scissor mechanism. There's a Pin constraint at every joint where the beams intersect. They work fine and 'scissor' as expected.Now I want to attach the beam with the slot and hole in in such that it's Pinned to one scissor beam (at B) and a peg in the other beam (A) slides through the slot as the scissors expand/contract.I've been at this for a while and just can't get it - usually I can't get past 'connection definition is incomplete' sort of messages. If I do get past that it just doesn't do much of anything.I've tried Slot and Slider constraints on A using the hole on the scissor beam and putting an axel through it and using that.I've defined an axis and planes but they're not taken as valid selections while defining the constraints. This makes me wonder if I'm just doing something fundamentally wrong - I'm not a mechanical engineer type.Thanks,Dan HoltFTC 7300 Mentor

Hello, I'm trying to install Creo 2.0 Student Edition. The installation guide tells me to enter my product code (which I have) into the "Simply License Entry" field and to click "Install Licensing". Unfortunately, the text box is not an active field, and doesn't allow for any text entry. The "Install Licensing" button is similarly greyed out.I disabled my firewall and antivirus, and am running the program as an administrator in Windows 7. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Hello to all,Trying to check in and move the Tetrix KOP library from the workspace to the CAD Models folder...that includes assemblies created by our team. One particular part hangs up the entire process...Message states..."Cannot check in place holder document CAD Part - set_screw_large.prt, A.1." Even when deselecting "set_screw_large.prt" Creo/Windchill still tries to push it up and it fails the whole batch process. Even when trying to delete the component and it tells me that..."A referential integrity violation occurred for this operation:" What a nightmare its a catch 22 situation, where one corrupt file hangs ups the whole process. It seems to be a single point of failure at its worst. Any chance I could share access to the Windchill workspace to have someone at PTC figure out this corruption issue? Is it possible to merge two letters created using the text tool in Creo 2 School's Edition into one new solid. The attached jpeg shows two letters which are created as seperate parts and have been assembled so that their undersurfaces are coincident. They have been purposely overlapped laterally.

Just learned the FTC Tetrix KOP had a couple of assemblies in it that referenced CAD files that no longer exist and needed to be updated before going into Windchill. As a validation step, Windchill will interrogate each CAD file to identify any and all dependencies it has. In some cases, Creo is okay with the missing reference and will continue working without any worries. Windchill on the other hand is not quite so forgiving and must be able to resolve all the references and dependencies. When Windchill cannot find these references and dependencies to other files, they will show up in the workspace as a "ghost" object which is identified by the ripped document icon. This is a common issue for people working primarily on their local hard drive and then trying to push their CAD files into Windchill with Creo. Recently i got a code to use on creo for my engeneering homework and i entered it on my laptop but it wouldent work well so i got a computer that it will work on but it wont let me re-enter the code is there any way of using that code again?

How did you come to the calculation of the maximum payload for each design? Is it in a worksheet or other source? So if we make our own design or redesign a given one we can take this into consideration.

Hi good morning.I am a freshman engineering course and I have a problem with CREO 2.0 PTR student edition.When I'm working on a piece and all is well, but to save the file and not refresh my screen. I remain visible save screen remains in the work area and visualize the piece. If I minimize the screen in the bar and back windows to maximize the working screen I get viaualiza clean but not the part. This occurs both in Parametrics, as in Direct.Working with Windows 7-64 bit, 4 Gb ram and the PC is a Toshiba Tecra A9 laptopcan you helpThank you very much.

Teams,We were finally able to get our hands on some (hopefully all) of the new Block Party - Tetrix kit of parts models.I decided the best way to go was to just add the new models to the existing Ring it Up kit.
