Does "Goto Sheet" functionality still exist in Creo 2.0? Would be helpful for very large fixture drawings 50+ sheets. Old mapkeys no longer work, so I am assuming this functionality may be gone. Does not show up in the Command Search tool.

Hi at present the school uses pro desktop 2000i one of our students has done his course work in the above version and as such we cant open it in school without installing the above version.Question is this software still available and what are the license issues, can we still install the student version for free?thanks and sorry if this is in the wrong forum im new here.

I recently replaced the computer I used to run Creo on for a more modern machine. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any information on how to transfer my installation to my new computer. I have no need to keep Creo on the old computer (which I still have access to), however I'm also a little bit reticent to remove it without knowing that I can get Creo on my new computer. Does anyone have any links to the sort of process I'll have to go through, or for that matter any information on getting Creo on my new machine?

Hello,I am trying to get a list with the X,Y,Z, and yaw, pitch, roll for coordinate systems that I have patterened across a curved surface. I have not even been able to figure out how to pull the location data for just 1 coordinate system. Can anyone help me on this?

Hi all,I'm having a problem with the configuration of Creo 2.0 Parametric. The batch file that you have to run so that Creo opens up in metric doesn't work with Windows XP.Has anyone else had this problem? if so how did you solve it?Many thanks.Noel WoodTechnology TechnicianDesborough College

We purchased two copies in preparation for a class to be offered next semester at our school, and have encountered several hurdles in the download/installation process, I am afraid. So I am hoping we can get this up and running soon! The company we purchased the software from said we should contact Creo for our installation problems. I hope I am posting in the right place. =] Basically, the install freezes up at this point.I had found a previous post in which someone had had an identical problem to mine, namely that the installation stalls at 1%The solution offered was to email someone for a disk with the needed files, I believe.Sadly, I was not able to locate this post again to avoid spamming up your forum. I am trying to install Creo 2 on one of our team's laptops, Dell Precision M60, NVIDIA Quadro FX Go700. I have a clean install of Windows XP Professional SP3. I am logged in as Owner / Administrator. I have Windows Firewall and my Anti-Virus software both turned off. I am connected to my Home Network via Ethernet port, Belkin Router, with Firewall turned off. I have downloaded the installation DVD, applied for and received a Product Code from PTC. When I attempt to install Creo 2 from the DVD the instructions work as advertised up to the point, Step 6 in the e-mail, where I attempt to Accept License agreement. The box to enter the product code is grayed out and I am unable to enter the code.Any suggestions?Thanks, Lance

Using Wildfire 4.0 M092 Student Edition 4 I've imported shared data and carry out EDIT DEFINITION the system goes into the command but the 'Import Data Doctor' ICON is low lighted and I cannot do any thing. Is there something I should be turning on first.

As the Seminole HS Robotics club engineering mentor, I completed the online survey this morning.  I know it is late by a couple of hours, which more or less sums up our FTC season in FL this year.  I hope our Seminole High School FTC teams 3123 and/or 3736 will be considered for a grant next year.  We greatly appreciate your support.  Last year the students struggled with CREO, this year the bugs have been worked out and more of the students were able to partake in the CAD design process.  Keep up the continuous improvement.  After having a FL team win the World FTC Championship in ST Louis last year, FL teams had a hard act to follow this year.  The 2 FL teams that were invited to the World Championship faired extremely well with one team in the semi-finals and the other in the finals as the 1st runner up to the World champions.  Unfortunately, neither of our Seminole teams were invited to World's this year........ next year is another chapter

Ever wanted to upload a picture to your Windchill profile to uniquely identify yourself? You can! Just choose My Settings, Profile from the Quick Links menu in the uppper right hand corner and then choose Edit Picture from the Actions menu. The image needs to be 288x192 or it will be stretched/squeezed to fit into this size.

The sheet material tools in PTC Creo Parametric were used to model this case for the Raspberry Pi micro-controller.The files are in Academic format.

I am in the process of buying a new laptop and will be using creo 1.0 on a regular basis. I was wondering if PTC are aware of any problems running their software on Windows 8 for both 32-bit and 64-bit ?

These gears have involute teeth so will mesh correctly and transmit motion smoothly.The zip file contains a PDF that explains how everything works including exporting a DXF to cut the gears on a laser cutter.

The attached zip file contains a PTC Creo model of a Raspberry Pi circuit board sourced from RS web site here: http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/products/7568308/The case was modelled by John Forth using PTC Creo and is described in the PDF guide contained in the ZIP file.  The case was modelled from DXF files John downloaded from the web.  Once you have the case as a Creo model, it's very easy to modify or adapt the design.  John's description is below.Many of you will be getting to grips with the Raspberry Pi computer that arrives bare bones, i.e. no case.   On-line there are many examples of cases you can purchase but this one comes courtesy of just a DXF file for use with your laser cutter.  Reverse engineering it to make modifications and to personalise it you can use the DXF file to create features and parts in CREO. This short tutorial tells you how to do this. You can then produce your own DXF file from your CREO model and use it to cut out the parts o

3D modelling has a lot to offer when developing a design including customisation and design for manufacture. To illustrate this I will describe a common project in secondary schools, a small, laser cut acrylic box.Currently students might hand sketch on paper their idea with key dimensions.  They then use a non-parametric 2D draughting program to re-draw the outlines. Checking whether everything will slot together properly requires considerable 3D spatial awareness.  Some schools might use DXF fomat files imported into a 3D modeller like Creo to assemble for checking prior to laser cutting.  Without the 3D model there is every chance something will have been missed with parts needing to be modified and re-cut.  I skipped over the difficulties of importing a non parametric DXF into a parametric environment and editing it to become valid for 3D feature creation.. It's no surprise the majority of schools use this method, 2D draughting has been around much longer than 3
