Is it possible to give me how many MBOM's are in specific context in Windchill? If yes, How?

Hi Folks, yesterday I couldn't start Creo 8 on my Windows 11 Surface Pro 8, which I use for university projects. So I tried a few things but as Creo sometimes is a bit wonky, I decided to reinstall it from scratch. It is important that I had it installed before in the exact version (8.0.4.0) I am trying to install now.As I now try to install it again, I run the setup.exe file as an administrator, but nothing happens. I have recently installed creo ptc 7.0 student edition on my pc and now i have the problem, that my planes dissapear whenever i rotate the part/coordinate system. And also the Backgroung is completely white wgile it should be grey-ish to my knowledge. How do i fix this?

Every time I try to start Creo, the error message pops up and the program shuts down. I tried following tips and solutions from past versions but they don't help either. I am also missing the standard .exe application and the shortcut doesn't work properly either, which makes the only path I can use to open Creo already finished files.

I have a school project with a claw mechanism designed by my group. The goal is to create a motion and force analysis that measures important aspects of the design. I want to measure the force generated between the two claws and perhaps the reaction forces at each pin. Can someone walk me through exactly how to do this? I'm completely lost. Thank you in advance for your help. A bit of what I have already done is: - Add a motor to the pinion to simulate the rack being pulled backward.- Run an analysis from the fully open position to right before the two claw parts touch.  Thank you for your help in advance.

I followed the indications of Mr. Alex_Cazacu but, even if I renew the password, the problem is always the same. What could be the problem? I would like to create a table in a drawing of an assembly that includes family table parameters for each of the parts.   I've created an assembly of a cabinet with multiple parts that include family tables.  These family tables all include the length and width of the parts.  I'd like to create a table in a drawing of the top-level assembly that pulls in the length and width of each part from their respective family tables. I've included a simple graphic to help explain what I'm talking about.  Any help will be greatly appreciated. 

Where do I find Material ID for the materials present in material library. I want to use relations to assign values to material parameters like density,etc. For which I need material ID. MethodPTC_MASS_DENSITY:MTRL_ID. Please suggest me way to find material ID. Thank you in advance!

Hi all,   I am currently running thermal simulations in Creo parametric 10.0.0 and I am trying to use point measures for maximum temperature through my model (section view with points attached below).   However, the point measures which are within the body of the model show 0 C for the entire simulation in the results window (the surfaces point measures are working perfectly fine). Is there a correct/different method to set-up point measures within the body of a model?   Thank you in advance.

I have HP Victus 15 laptop with i5 12500 processor. And RTX 3050 (4gb) graphics card. And Windows 11 home. I downloaded PTC Creo Parametric 9.0 software few days ago and it were working perfectly. But some days before I can't open this software. When I tried to open it, when I click on it, it just start loading and after few seconds it stop and nothing happens. I tried to open it so many times and anytime same thing happens. and this problem happened with me some months before also when I were downloaded this software for first time. that time were deleted it were again downloaded the student edition. Everytime  when I downloaded this software it works perfectly for some days and after that it doesn't open only. Please solve this problem or give me some solution to solve it. Please sir, make it as soon as possible please. My exam are after some days and I were downloaded to practice and learn this software.  So please try to solve it as soon as possible. Thank You.

I can't seem to get my license for PTC creo. Every time I enter my product code and account information it starts processing but then it suddenly closes. What should I do?

Hi, I just started using PTC Creo 9.0 on M1 Mac with Parallels 18 and PTC works fine but i can not even open Excel Analysis (its grey). Could somebody help me please what could be the problem and how can it be solved?  Thank you in advance! Regards,   

Could not get Creo 10 Academic/student to install. Would not finish the license server segment. Have since found out that Creo9 would be a better match for tutoring. Please inform me on how to delete Creo 10 files and install Creo 9 Academic/student instead.

Hi All, There is an issue with below scenario.The user is active in windchill and he has active license. He tries to login to Windchill with correct credentials. Even after entering the correct credentials, that credentials dialogue box keeps on popping up again and again which stops him to login to WIndchill.Account wise, everything is finePlease suggest the resolution. Thanks 

Hello everyone, I am using creo 10.0 and I am creating drawings for a step file, i was using a costume .frm file a3 size, i decided to change the format since it was too small, when i updated the format, i tried to organice the work space, relocating the views and its annotations, i can move the views but no the anotations, i made all the annotation from scrach again and keeps happening, i have to say the the annotations the arent following, are the annotations made to a sketch i created in the drawing module. if i create an annotation to the actual part, it follows. the sketch is properly linked to the view and the sketch follows the view when draged. but no the annotations. thank you very much

Dear Community, Recently, when I am trying to plot any graph using Chart component option, I get this error "Unknown Error: Object_reference_not_set_to_an_instance_of_an_object...".  I was using this option but few days ago i am getting this error, even if I am plot very simple function like the one I attached here.  I would really appreciate your help. Thanks  @Werner_E        

I would like to write the text HONDA with the Honda font on a part. I found the font online in ttf format, installed it on my computer (word sees it). I added pro_font_dir paramater to the config and pointed it to the default windows font directory. I restarted Creo and I can see now a lot of the windows font in the list when I create the text sketch, but the Honda font is missing.
