Hi, I recently successfully downloaded the most up to date student version of Creo 4.0 but I can not open the program. I previously had the 3.0 student version and never experienced any problems. Please let me know if there are any troubleshooting techniques I can attempt to figure out this issue.   Thank you

Is there any way to purchase a license for Creo NC to add to the student version?

Too simple I guess.    

All the install pdfs link from https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/products/free-software/creo-download/thank-you fail with the subject error?   I found a copy of the creo4 install pdf linked in reply to one of the questions here, but I'm trying to install creo1, and the instruction do not match.   Another questioner here asked about installing creo2, and it was suggested here install creo4  and the creo2 and point the creo2 install at the licence from creo4.   But, the reason I'm installing creo1, is the creo4 will not install on this OS.   Can someone post a working link to the creo1 install pdf please?

I have an old Wildfire student  version and had to change computers a couple of times. Last time they gave me a license file and it worked great but then my computer died agin and I think they put in a new CPU so now when i try to install it give error. I have my old host ID, the original License number and cant seem to make it work. Suggestions?

Hello,   I am trying to install Creo 4.0 (student version), using the instructions provided in one "install_creo4_schools_standards" pdf file, where I am provided with the product code  "BE410708EDSTUDENTEDK12". However, when I enter this code in the "Simple License Entry" box and then enter my account information, the setup remains stuck on "processing..." (as shown in the picture).   Does anyone have any idea why that might be?

Hello Folks,   I need to drive a testbench with LabView. The test scenarios are written in a language that can be automatically translated into Labview diagrams. Is this an API that allows creating "Labview diagrams" from another software ? or with Labview itself?   Help me out on this!   Thanks Gnanasekar

I have just downloaded a Student version of Creo 4.0, and got a license. Creo fails to open, and I discovered that the license is not valid, this is for Creo 3.0. How do I get a new license file.

I must be missing something since I updated to Creo Parametric 5.0. I have looked over the technical documents and it doesn't come right out and say that the Feature Recogniton Tool is not supported in Creo Parametric 5.0. All that it does is specify that certain documentation is related to Creo P1 - P4.    What I want to know is why am I able to change the options in my config.pro file if there is no FRT in Creo 5.0? Is there another way to recognize import geometry? Is Flexible Modeling going to be the new standard for this type of FRT? 

Bought a copy of the student edition of Creo Elements/Pro Student Edition yesterday and cannot get past 2%. I have emailed - and had no reply. Is there a link to the full dvd rip?I needed this up and running yesterday and am already wasting another day trying to get it to work. Please help.

Hi I am trying to install Creo 4.0 and am following the instructions carefully. Now when I am asked to put in the product key/code I put in the given code but it keeps coming up error. I have restored my laptop twice and the same thing comes up!! I need HELP! thanks Pat  

Hello, We are a new FTC team and are trying to install Creo4.0 for the first time. Everything seems to work fine and install is successful. When opening Creo for the first time a warning message comes up:   Warning Message list License request failed for featureRequesting CREOPMA_SchoolSTD3... C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\BE400407EDSTUDENTEDK12_license.dat:(-1) Cannot find license file.   I have tried navigating the Licensing folder and placing the .dat file there. I have viewed some of the other solutions from previous similar questions and I am unable to follow those directions. They generally say that from the PTC Installation Assistant point the license to the correct file at the "License" tab - something like below: https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Academic-Program-Discussions/Creo-4-0-Problem-with-installation/td-p/483266   When I run setup-schools.exe file I do get the PTC Installation Assistant, but Licences is not a tab on the left as in previously solved questi

I am trying to download PTC Creo 4 student version. All links dead.   I was also trying to manually activate my PTC Creo direct modelling express 6.0, but link for activation is also dead.    PTC Creo is a great product, but why does none of your links ever work. I do not understand this. And without paying up-front, it is the hardest company in the world to get in contact with.   Please, can someone from PTC contact me, or help me in any other way? I really wish to use PTC creo since it is my favorite #D modelling software.

The new Creo 4.0 is now available for Students and K12 schools. It has lots of improvements and it's really cool. Here are a few of the new features in Creo 4.0 (please note that some of them are not available for Student edition):Please note that Creo 4.0 will only run on 64 Bit Windows. Find the minimal requirements here.

Hello,   I am a mechanical engineering (university) student trying to install Creo v4 with a student license. After I filled out my information on the PTC website, the site gave me links to download the installation files (~4GB) and a PDF with instructions. Those instructions included a product code BE410708EDSTUDENTEDK12. When I enter it in the Installer, it prompts me to enter my email address and password for PTC.com. After I do that, the software hangs for a few minutes. Eventually the bottom half of the screen shows a path to a file in C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing\, and a status of "invalid file or format". The Next button is disabled so I can't go any further in the installation process.   From reading other threads, I have (unsuccessfully) tried the following:   Rebooting and deleting all files in the folder C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing before installing.   Disabling all network adapters except for the adapter that's connected to the inter

Hi, I'm trying to add a NC path to one of my models to allow it to be milled out of a bar by a CNC machine, but every time I go to start a NC manufacturing, or any sort of manufacturing for that matter in the Creo 2 student edition, I don’t get the manufacturing tab or any options. It thinks about it for a second then doesn’t do anything. I get no change from whatever screen I'm in. As a stopgap, I created a NC work piece over the top of the model in assembly, but I can’t get manufacturing to load or open to do anything else. I feel like I’m missing something, pointers?
