DescriptionThis document describes how to setup Creo Parametric and Windchill for use by more than one Windchill user on the same computer with the same Windows User Account. This configuration is not required to use Windchill in a browser. It is only required when connecting Creo Parametric to Windchill for CAD Data Management.NOTE: If you are the only one using Creo Parametric and Windchill on your own computer with a single Windows account, you do not need to perform any of these actions.DetailsLots of teams have that unique situation where multiple people use the same computer with the same Windows User Account to run Creo Parametric. This is fine on its own, but when connecting Windchill, Windchill expects each user to authenticate from their own Windows User Account for security purposes. I have tried on multiple times to install, uninstall and reinstall Creo 3.0 student addition and it runs through the entire installation but when you launch the program I get an error that license request failed for feature.

Hi guys,for my master thesis I have to design a cable harness in detail, down to the braids of the cable. As the student license has no cabeling feature, it's kinda awkward.So I thought about drawing a "master" cable with the sweep feature and I only import that same cable in my final assembly. Because every cable of the harness is different, I would have to adjust the stats (like length and curves). So I would like to ask you, how to adjust the axis of the sweep feature. It would be nice, if I can easily adjust the axis and keep the same profile (1 cable consists of 32 braids and it isn't funny to draw 0,2 mm circles for each cable again). Some axis has to be straigth but mostley they have different curves.I think my problem is actually easy to solve but I really don't know how to adjust this feature. Right mouse click and "define" is not enough it seems...Thanks Regards Tom

I get this software from school and recently when i use the extrude profile feature or other 3-D features, the program crashed even though I kept reinstalling and even reset my computer. Please help ,many thanks!

I am a high school students looking for a laptop for college next year. I know I am going to be doing a lot of CAD work (this year, in FIRST robotics, I am using Creo) in mechanical engineering, so I need something powerful, but also something I can carry around.   I am stuck between these two laptops: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-NP900X5L-K02US-Notebook-Laptop-Silver/dp/B01AWGXNH8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8   https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019O7V4EU/ref=pd_cp_147_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=0V3GS4FW408SDVYYRMDV   Both laptops are 15 in and have 8 gigs of RAM. The LG laptop has a weaker processor, but has a number pad, which I have never cadded without.   If there are any laptops for under or around $1000 that are light (less than 3 pounds) and are CAD friendly, please mention them.   Thanks!

Ran fine on Win 7 for a few weeks. Had to reinstall OS due to a crash. Downloaded the installation software and when launching it hangs after the login sequence with the message 'waiting to retrieve license from server'. Again, this is education version, K12.

I downloaded the student version of creo, the zip file specifcally, but I can get it to run. After the download im not sure what to do

Hi,I after formatting my system i'm not able to install Creo 3.0 student edition because i've lost the licence number. Is there any way to get it back and continue using it?

how can i get the starbase files onto the ipad to pull up on creoview?

As I know the student version should be able to make tolerance analysis but when I push the TOL-analysis button, nothing happens. I have created tolerances for my object and enabled tol_display and tolerance_standards but I still don't know what could be wrong? Is it something with the setting or what?

Beim Aufstarten von Creo 3.0-Studentenversion kommt diese Fehlermeldung und das Programm fährt runter. Es hat was mit dem Qualitätsagent zu tun. Ich habe den schon mal gelöscht und neu installiert, ohne Erfolg!

I have a license code for student (which was sent to me). When i intensify the license, the write that the subscribe will end in 29 days.

How can i get a new license for Creo 3.0 student version? The old one expired.I´m now a student at university and must prepare for the studiums of next semester.The old license is deleted, but can not get the new one.p.s. In the past i received the license per Email from PTC when it expired.

Can I Download student CREO 3.0 onto my macbook pro?

Greetings,We are using the Creo 2.0 student version here at the university (student version). We generated drawings with exploded views. When saving the drawings to PDF format, the parts (exploded view) loose their placement and land on top of one another.Is there a corrective action for this? Thanks,Dani
