When I try to open the PTC Creo Parametric Student edition the programm returns an error code ( 0x06000012). The Programm couldn´t run the Qualityagent for the version. Does somebody knwo how to fix this problem?Thank you in advance

In the existing SDK EMS, is it possible to disable the log file that we are getting on the console while running the EMS.

The device is unable to connect to composer 6, it has https. Before on composer 5 the same device was working fine and was uploading data without errors. If any one had the same problem and have any solution kindly share it. Thank You

hello,I'm new to Javascript and have a few questions:I can install the Eclipse SDK and understand the java related documentation, but how do I deal with the built-in JavaScript API in the Composer?There is no IDE, so I have to rely on my own common sense, JS knowledge and syntax checks in the Composer, right?It's kind of obvious that me means the same as Things['ThingName']​, but is there any specially dedicated section in the help centre for basics like this?

Got a scanned file (stl) and with the help of the people at GeoMagic they converted it to a prt file to use in CREO.  From the 3cyl  I then created a 4Cylinder crankcase using the merge function in assembly. The image shows the finished model. 

I am a rank beginner with this software, attempting to follow a basic tutorial. Can someone please tell me how to get the full set of options in the sketch tab? I have attached a screenshot of what I can access. I need all the other varieties of rectangles, ellipses, fillets etc.Many thanks,Leon

Hi there, Just installed Creo 3.0 (Academic) in Windows 10.Our course requires us to set-up Creo 3.0 in metric unit configuration. But when running the configure.bat and choosing option 7, I get error messages saying the files are not found???!???   Yet, you can clearly see from my attached picture that the files do exist.What do I need to do to solve this problem?(And, yes, I run it as administrator, so there is no problem with permissions). I have installed Creo 3.0 for university students for the free 30 days. The PTC Creo parametric, PTC creos imulate 3..., and PTC Creo options show on my wallpaper but when I click them, it says "missing shortcut," and "windows is searching for parametric.exe..."Can anyone PLEASE tell me how to open it? I have Windows 8. I believe I installed it correctly. (I used license code and it said "success" and then "finish".)Thank you in advance!!!

Hi,   i was using creo wildfire 5.0 before, but now i shifted to creo 2.0 student version. The files which is created using the older version is not opening in the current version which i am using now. Recently i have downloaded few cad files from SKF ( a bearings and housing manufacturer ), even those files are not opening in my current version, since the manufacturer used a commercial version of creo. could someone please help me in converting the format of this CAD files. Is there any data center for ThinngWorx IoT? For example, IBM's IoT, AWS IoT, and Azure IoT Hub etc. have Regions or Data centers. I could not get any information for ThingWorx. Thanks.

Hello everybody,i worked through this ThingWorx Analytics Quickstart. Now i want to try this on a local TWX plattform (6.6).Is there any possibility to get a standalone version of this Analytics Server (as costumer or in Academic Programm)?Or could we get access to an existing server?And if we have access how do we configure/get the neuron-application-id and neuron-application-key, which we need to connect to our TWX plattform?Thanks for all comments and your helpTimo

I installed the academic version on a Dell M6800 laptop workstation running Windows 10. The installation was successful and the program will load. I can open a file and see the model. However, as soon as I try to perform any function, even rotating on zooming on the model the program closes with no error messages. Each time I load the program I get the same results...the program simply closes and I have no idea why.My system is a quad core I7 with 16gb of memory and a AMD FirePro 6100 with 2gb of memory so I more than meet the system requirements. Any ideas why this is happening and what I need to do to resolve it.Thanks.

In my mechanism below I want to simulate the bouncing shown in example provided in the exercise eleven of the How to Model Anything. The yellow man consistently goes straight through the green box. I think that it is due to the fact that I do not have all the surfaces referenced as is done in the 4th picture. Hello,i installed Creo2 Academic on my Workstation at home. The Installation worked well and the product key was okay also.When i try to start Creo now, there appears a "Message" Window for like one seconde, and nothing happens.I tried to start it as admin, tried to run it direct from the .bin Folder, deinstalled it and did a new Installation - same error.See attached in the Video. This is the message that appears, then nothing happens.I hope u can help me

Using fine no problems, logged on this morning and tried to start Creo up and 'licence request failure'does this mean I have to reload Creo again?I have just re downloaded Creo and reinstalled but it is still coming up licence failurewhat gives?

Hi,I tried this guide http://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/relicense_creo2_student_uni.pdf to renew my license for Creo 3.0 M010 student. But everytime i enter the license code (it's BK400407EDSTUDENTUNICL) i get an error and the message to get in touch with the license administration. I use the program on two devices, a notebook and a desktop pc. Those problems only occur on my notebook, Creo runs fine on my PC.I also deinstalled it completely and reinstalled it, but it's still the same. I also use Creo 2.0 on both devices, but i had no problems to run both programs ever since.Sitrep: I solved the problem by installing M070.But I'm very disappointed with the support of PTC. I sent a couple of requests and never got an answer to my problem. A few years ago the service was much better.

What I am trying to do, is list what sensors I have in a List Widget so that the user could click them or multi-click them to load into another list widget and save those particular items there. I want to be able to do this with multiple lists widgets and also I want to be able to select one of the many lists and turn it active, changing all the data in the list to a Boolean true. Is there a way I can do this? The picture shows what I have going on now, I can multi-click and those particular sensors will load into another list but will not save there. And I cant load more data into the other list their that I created. I also want to have a slider attached so that I can change those sensors from a Boolean False to and Boolean True. Thank you, Rachel
