A user reported an issue when trying to insert a graphic using a FIG tag. The exact scenario is shown here. The user has inserted a graphic using FIG and TITLE. Our Fig element logic looks for: if fig in procinfo, else if fig in li, else fig everywhere else.I also included what I believe is the result of that logic, the specific XPATH language in use for this situation, "Fig Everywhere Else". The error does not seem to actually affect anything since the user can still create the topic, use in publication structures, etc, but we are worried that it may be a bigger issue down the road. I am relatively new to Styler, and I am not sure what to even check for to start debugging this issue. Help!The actual error reads:Cannot evaluate XPath expression in stylesheet [A30282] Invalid XPath expression: The prefix 'child' is not declared. Element: fig: Xpath expression: (not(Child:title/text()))

Regardless of the settings in the SVG export preferences the file for the svg export keeps the artboard. Putting the XML content through a transform causes the graphics to occupy an entire page. I have even attempted to make the artboard the size of the graphic. I still see an artboard in the export that far exceeds the borders of the graphic.

HiI keep encountering a problem with CGM exports from Isodraw.I need to keep the positive cross hatchings when exporting to CGM, but sometimes it shows up black (See bottom picture)Figure 1: View in Isodraw. I need help converting my xml document to HTML. I already have the document I'm working on to publish as pdf and now I want to publish it as html also. Do I have to make a html dtd for it or is there a shortcut to converting it into html?

We jsut got an upgrade to Photoshop. Using the crop tool we crop images to 3.12 X 2.25, 300 dpi. When placing it into IsoDraw, it used to fit our template, now it is way oversized. See attached image the square in the middle is the template.Bryon

Hi,There are certain characters that show up in our raw data that we would like to automatically alter because they cause problems when we finally upload them to our website. Some examples of characters we needed to alter are the mdash (—, unicode 0x2014), rdquo (”, 0x201D), ldquo (“, 0x201C), rsquo (’, 0x2019), lsquo (‘, 0x2018), etc. I understood that I could use charent.cf for this purpose. As a test, I followed the procedures and copied charent.cf from Arbortext-path\lib to Arbortext-path\custom\lib and edited the file here to replace the Left and Right Pointing Double Angle Quotation Marks (», 0x00BB and «, 0x00AB) with a quote mark ( ", unicode 34). It worked like a charm: when I opened a document containing the double angle quotation marks using Arbortext Editor, they were automatically converted to the quote mark and I was able to save the document with the changes. Hi,I am having trouble making a XUI dialog modal.<window modal="true" ...Isn't enough. In fact, when I set that, the dialog doesn't display at all. Do I need to do something specific on subsequent window_create() or window_show()?I've scoured the code that ships with Editor and found that PTC uses _xmldlg::displayDialog(). I've required _xmldlg and mimicked the calls, but I'm still not getting it to work. Anyone seen/solved this before?

Hi,We currently have technical writers using Arbortext editor in-house with node-locked licensing. Most of these writers are still working in Arbortext 5.3 (mostly because the customer was using this version and the style sheets are designed for it).We are looking into the feasibility of hiring some remote workers to handle an increase in workload and using terminal services with remote desktops to support them. Arbortext editor is one of the applications we would need them to work with so we would need to purchase some additional licensing. I've read some threads here regarding locked vs floating licensing for remote use. From what I've read here, I'm still unsure what type of licensing we would need to support off-site users. Installed the editor license, system showed that the key is successfully installed. but could not seen the 6000.lic in the license folder. have tried to install the key but system display a key have been installed already. not able to open the editor.

Hello everyone,Is there a way to configure the burst config to skip over certain graphics by element name or attribute value?Most graphics will burst in as normal, but some will be handled through another source so we don't want these to burst into Windchill. These graphics will use a different element and in some cases a special attribute value.For example...<img type="noburst"/> or <noburstimg/>Is there a way to include an exception so these criteria are skipped by the burst process?Thanks,-Jeff

We currently have SMA implemented with key-based addressing. There is a lot of talk with regards to the SLM solution (SIM and Service Parts) that key-based addressing is unsupported and that TIA is the direction to move toward. We are interested in learning about others faced with having to migrate from SMA to TIA and developing a new strategy that doesn't utilize the key-based addressing approach.

I want to combine my files into one so how do I do that? For example I'm making an epm and I've created seperated files for each sections of the epm so I want to combine them into one.

Where can I go to begin learning about the basics of SGML and FOSI? My employer is interested in me being able to create and edit new FOSI files. Can anyone help me by pointing me to a place I can begin learning about writing SGML and FOSI files? I've had minimal luck finding any decent information on FOSI files.

I'm having trouble inserting file entities. I want to insert a whole document and I'm able to create that entity but when I want to insert it there happens to be an error saying, "[A11132] Insertion of entity &filename would make <book> in entity &filename out of context". What does that mean? How do I fix this problem?

How do I change the name of an element? If I can't then how do I create a new element?

I cannot figure out why I cannot find anything in an indexterm. I am trying to find the word cutter in an indexterm. For value I enter cutter. I then populate ontags with indextern, and do not find anything? Am I missing something.Bryon
