Creo 4.0, license server FlexNet LM version 11.17.   Currently, at our site, we have a license for the Simulate application (module?), under the "MECELITE_UI_License" and "MECELITE_ENG_License" names. At another site, they have licenses for Creo, but not for the Simulate items above. Since we do not use the Simulate license very often, it was felt it would be more cost effective to share our licenses with the group at the other site, rather than buying yet another seldom-used license. The problem is, although the other group is able to obtain licenses from our pool of available licenses, they are unable to run the Simulate application. It does not work for them insisting that they do not have a license, etc. In the past, when I had troubles with Creo Simulate licenses, I had to manually edit the "feature.dat" to "tell" Creo what license to look for when attempting to run the program. Hello, I want to know how to list all licenses under a customer's name, not only current used licenses but also historic license records. There is a License Reports weblink at esupport website, I tried but not sure if can list all licenses or not.https://www.ptc.com/support/license-management/report Thanks. 

We are using creo version 4.0- We are trying to connect to the floating license server- I enter the server info after I run the reconfigure tool- We keep getting the unreachable status after we enter the server infoWe may need another license or remote sessions to resolve that status.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.2.0We are having issues with Creo 8.0.2.0 latency launching on a virtual environment.Problems we are running into is the latency of Creo 8.0 takes about four minutes for Creo 8 to launch with three different installs.Creo is locally installed.For couple of days after our testing took about 16-20 seconds for Creo 8 to launch.Now we are back to latency takes about 4 minutes to launch Creo 8.0 on all 3 environments.No issues with Creo 4.0 M140 on the same environment.What we like to understand what is needed and required technically on the background for Creo 8.2.0 to run and launch is there anything different comparing this with Creo 4.0.- Any new services on the back end of Creo 8.0, is it FlexNet license please advise.Here are the errors that I facedWe are having issues with Creo 8.0.2.0 latency launching on a virtual environment.

Hello!I want to buy a new laptop to work with CREO. I work with large assemblies (>1000 parts). There is a shortage of graphics cards on the market. My choices are:i5-11400H/16GB RAM/T600 4GB (lenovo P15v 2gen.) ori7-11850H/32GB RAM/RTX A2000 4GB (P15 2gen.).Which of the above configurations will be better? There is not much information about the A2000 card.I found a document that says the A2000 is CREO certified. Does anyone use RTX in their computer?

We Have Netskope in our Environment.  When our users machines go to sleep they are not able to re-connect to the License is what it appears to look like. They must restart their services. this seems to be happening with the Team Center Integration piece I have an attached   

Hi guys,   I have the problem that many users do only get a blank page at Attributes page when starting a promotion Request. Starting the request in standalone Browser everything is working fine. Hello All,Creo 4.0 M140.Considering moving our model check files to a share drive using modelcheck_dir to give us flexibility to adjust them without need to deploy new updates to users.I've seen a few topics regarding the dictionary and user_words. It seems this file will only read from the load point directory.  Can anyone confirm this is true?Anyone have success sharing a dictionary with other users? We could restrict write access in our shared drive to prevent things from getting too wild if needed of course.

With the addition of the default material PTC_SYSTEM_MTRL_PROPS in Creo 7, ModelCheck's material_info in ModelUpdate mode stopped working. Before Creo 7, it used to assign the material you chose in models that didn't have any materials. The new default material wouldn't be a problem, but it doesn't have any parameters (density being the most important) which breaks mass calculation for assemblies.   As written in CS326615, you can add density to this default material in your templates, but that doesn't help me when I'm updating old models. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to solve this problem? For now we were using Creo 6 to ModelCheck old assemblies before importing them to Windchill but I'd rather have everyone use Creo 7 only.

I need to update my license files and can't find how to start the Installation Assistant? What is the usual filepath and name of the install file. This is an existing installtion. I've looked for possible .exe and .bat files, but am missing the blindingly obvioius. Many thanks, Sam

We have users located overseas (UK, Spain) who have reported that while using Creo Parametric, their systems lag to the point where "it's almost unusable" - I've done video calls where I can see as they scroll or type, there is a 5-10 second lag in the system. It does not start immediately upon launch, some users have reported delays of anywhere from 2-10 minutes before things start to slow. I have had them reinstall Creo, double check their graphics drivers, and ensure their Java is compatible. We had a call with a PTC rep who had one of the users disable much of his graphics capability, and this failed to stop the lag. They claim that one of the users was able to unplug his ethernet cable and Creo resumed running smoothly, until he plugged everything back in. The license server is located in the US, we're running Parametric 7.0.3.0

Is anyone able to create a PTC Case?My logger does not let me select ISSUE TYPE, which is required.The PRODUCT options no longer include a generic Creo Parametric, only a "Connected" option.Look at this image  

I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM110Users coming across files that are checked out by individuals that no longer work here.He attempted to undo their check out but was unable to release it.Can wcadmin release those files?Is there a way to find such files that were checked out since 2019?

As per this thread - same issue    Hi, I have installed student version of Creo. But it's not running, because of some license issues apprently. After going through the files, I can see I don't have any FLEXnet file. How to install it separately and connect it to creo.

Wanted to turn off the save_file_iterations feature and so I followed the recommended steps by going into the configuration editor and changing it no. Now when I open a creo file and check the configuration editor, it still says the save file iterations is turned off but when I save, it continues to save multiple files. It’s as if it’s not listening to it’s on configuration or something is overriding it…

Hello,For many years, I'm using Creo (Pro/E) on local HDD.In each folder project, I had a .cmd script that launch Creo 2, 3...)So, local config.pro, appearances were loads for each project, depending on my clients.Now, I can't do this with Creo8.Batch (cmd) files doesn't works anymore.So, what could be a good solution for starting Creo in a specific folder, loading global AND local config.pro and could open local files ?Now, Opening file start-up in "My Documents"...Thanks a lot.

I have a guy that’s playing around with adding some new parameters to COTS parts to have the BOM table display different parameters for those specific parts. I have the BOM table relations displaying the results the way he wants them, but not using the logic he wants. He wants to use a YES NO parameter to determine what gets displayed in the BOM table.I just can’t get that to work.
