Hi, I usually input the number of pattern instances using the parameter from the model into a drawing note and that will display the number of instances. Now, when I do that, it includes the suffix, which it never did before. Is there a setting I can change that toggles this behavior? I am using Creo 9.0.12.0.For example, with a feature patterned 4 times:Before: &p267 would display “4” Now: &p267 displays “4 EXTRUDES”I can manually delete the suffix text as a workaround, but I’m curious what changed from “before” to “now”.

I am using Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Release N/A and DatecodeN/A I have completed the account registration process. However, when I access Manage Licenses from eSupport, I receive the following error message and cannot proceed with the installation. "Access Denied. You do not have the required permissions. Hi, I am trying to solve an ODE to model a “Ball and Cone” tuned mass damper. The equations simulate a ball mounted inside a pair of cones with mass on top. The ball oscillates up and down an inclined slope with a curved region at the apex between the up/down slopes. I am using Radau solver as it is a stiff equation. Adams/BDF “does not converge”. The 1st solve block uses a simplified simulation for base excitation of the TMD. Using Radau with modest levels of damping the first solve block result gives a discontinuous response which should not happen given the inclined slope is a tangent to the curved section at the apex. Any ideas how I can correct this discontinuity would be appreciated.I tried using sigmoid transition functions (2nd solve block) for the step between inclined slope and radius but this gives a large number error.The 3rd solve block includes an extra degree of freedom to simulate the tower on which the damper is mounted, which is the aim of the program. Hi everyone,We are trying to configure enterprise-wide annotation templates (xml file) for Creo View managed via Windchill (Visualization Configuration Administration).The CreoView documentation includes an article titled 'Creating Annotation Templates', which only describes the internal XML structure of the file itself, but provides no information on which parameters should be used to reference it from server_prefs.xml or how to distribute these template settings enterprise-wide to all users.What is the correct XML syntax/preference name in server_prefs.xml to lock and specify the path for custom annotation templates?Is it possible to bundle annotation_template.xml directly into the Windchill WVS Configuration alongside server_prefs.xml so clients download it automatically without relying on shared network drives or pre-deployed local files?Any advice or working XML examples would be greatly appreciated!

HiI am on Creo 10.0.1.0While features such as Holes, Rounds, Chamfers etc can be grouped using query in Layers, wondering if the same can be done in the “Design Tree”.Filtering the design tree and dragging and dropping the features into the custom group is a manual process which we would like to avoid. The reason being, every time a new feature such as a round is added, it would not become a part of the custom group, without a manual intervention.Help documentation is silent on this aspect.I am aware that this can be done through layers.Thanks in advance.

I am using Creo Schematics Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0 I'm getting 'Warning - license for Creo Schematics expires in 1 days' message even though my licenses are expiring on 10-may-2027. I am creating a 2D illustration from a 3D model in Creo Illustrate 10.1, but I am not satisfied with the result.Most of the lines are smooth and clean, but some appear straight, making curved lines look “jagged”—even though the surfaces are smoothly contoured.To get the desired result, I usually remove all the "jagged" lines manually. Is there any way to prevent this? I have tried various settings for 2D figures, but nothing helps. See the attached image. The red arrows point to the "jagged" lines.

I’ve kinda got a situation here… Consider I have two diffrent teams working in my office. One team is sitting at a different country & the other is sitting at India. Now, both of them are working on a same rocket assembly & the parameters & relations which both the teams are using are different only in terms of names. The result/output of the parameters that are needed are same. Now, if I want to bring them together, where CREO has to identify that 2 differently named parameters are the same & it has to consider a master parameter based upon the 2 named parameters…Is there any way to do this???

I am using Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Release 20.4 and Datecode20.4.3.0 CEDM session does not recover license if started in Zscaler and switch network to an enterprise on site wifi. It is Zscaler related, because in the past we had other VPN and it was allowed to start in VPN and switch to company wifi. In both cases there is connectiviy to the license server, just doesn´t recover the session. The session must be closed and reopen. Here are the errors that I faced Typical error when a license is granted and then temporarily lost connectivity to license server: "the license server connection to these hosts is broken xxxxxx" + "the following licenses have been withdrawn and are currently unavailable".

Hello Team,We are trying to install\upgrade Creo View Express 13.0 as offline installer.As per the installation guide, if Microsoft WebView2 Runtime is already installed on the machine, the installer should detect it and proceed without downloading or modifying the existing installation. However, this is not happening.We have, Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime version 148 is already installed on the machine. During Creo View Express 13.0 installation, the installer still attempts to download WebView2 Runtime version 146 from the internet.Since the environment does not have internet access, the installation cannot proceed.We tested both x86 and x64 WebView2 Runtime installations.We also tested installation under system context and administrator context.Test Environment is Windows 11 Virtual machine.Need help on,Is the installer specifically checking for version 146 only, or should newer versions (such as 148) also satisfy the prerequisite?Does the installer require a particular WebView2 c
