Hi, We would have a paper label with barcode which will have order number. The requirement is to scan the barcode in the paper and populate the content in text box in ThingWorx. How can we achieve this functionality in ThingWorx 9.1?

I am trying to renew the expiration date of all the applications keys of Thing Worx through Postman.For this, I am using this URL: Thing Worx/Resources/Entity Services/Services/GetEntityListByRegEx?type=Application Key and it gave me the list of all applications keys which are present in the Thing Worx but how can I use the setExpirationDate service for the all the keys which I got. @PEHOWE @PaiChung @slangley 

Hi, I am using collection widget and have a info-table property which holds different values to get in the mashup. 1) How get invisible the values which we don't want to show in repeating child mashups as per in attached screenshots ... "Output" image is the what i am getting and over there when I tired to give the visible binding to the shape Availability even for RTE the shape is going away.  2)If you see my attached picture of "4 tiles of KPIs" - like OEE, RTE, TEEP, COE these are calculating according to the formula in services. I have a graph in the trend tab. Eg: I can choose some pumps and seals in the graph by choosing the option. After choosing the options, it will plot graph.    The graph is in trend tab, if I want to choose another tab and come back to trend tab, the data plotted lastly should remain the same.   But in our case it is vanished.

 Hello,Today I tried to build and start docker containers with Dockerfiles provided on PTC Support download page.I've discovered that there is new container named 'security-cli' using by default 'thingworx/security-tool:latest' (screenshot of example docker-compose file below) image, but I cannot find any information about it, and I'm unable to run Thingworx containers becouse I didn't have this 'security-tool' image which now contains TWX_DATABASE_PASSWORD env. variable.   I would be grateful for any hints on running this version of Thingworx as docker container. 

Hi, I am making a REST API call to get Thing property data from Thingworx server using postman.I am able to see the reponse code is 200. But I am not able to see any data in the response.As seen below, I am trying to get the value of name property from SystemRepository. I am getting successful response, but no data is returned.   In this scenario Thingworx server is a secured server hosted behind a proxy server nginx. Can anyone point me to the issue what may be happening. Thanks and Regards,Bhushan

Hi Folks, Please help to understand how this Global Style setting populates with default list? I want to have more font styles in the highlighted dropdown for Text category but it seems to be some default list as part of Thingworx installation.Also, I have observed that these default text font style options are anyhow linked to OS font collection. So for example, If I don't have 'Century Gothic' font family available in my machine OS then this style won't work in Mashups.  Note: I am already aware of custom font import via system repository and have it applied in CSS window of the mashup but requirement is to use style theme only with custom fonts. 

Hello,while importing entities from Thingworx 9.0.0 to new thingworx 9.3.0 , am getting this errorImport Failed: ResourceProvider with id of MediaEntity.ptc-windchill-integration-connector_Ecm_Sim_Tool-proxy has already been registered. Resource Provider's Ids must be unique. Anyone face this issue. ThanksKSM

Hi,  Could anyone tell me How to navigate to different mashups via "Button Bar Widget". If u see the below attached picture there are two different types of buttons i.e., "Duration" and "Count". What are those buttons functionality means when we click on the "Duration" button it will take us into a mashup and same as for "Count" button to a different mashup.. TWX version is 9.3.1 PC: We can use Button widget, but I want to be in Button Bar widget to perform.   Please guide me in this query.   Thanks, Lohita.

Hi, I am trying to fetch data from postgresql property_vtq table for external application.But the data is coming in binary format for value column as seen below. Further checking the data type of value column, it is showing as bytea.How can we get this format converted to represent some sensible data as string, integer or datetime according to the property basetype configured.  Thanks and Regards,Bhushan

i want to loop through each row of infotable and pass the whole row as an argument. is it possible in thing worx.While writing infotable.rows[0] its  showing error as : (Error executing service. Message ::Unable To Convert From com.thingworx.types.collections.ValueCollection to INFOTABLE)

I am trying to install TWX9.3 with the installer and I am using the Linux version with PostgreSQL (MED-61111-CD-093_SP2_ThingWorx-Foundation-Installer-postgresql-linux-9-3-2). The OS that I am using is CentOs8 64bits.  I have the right version of java (11) which is installed and setup in the path and I have also setup the PostgreSQL path. When i run the installer, it gets all the way to 96% and there it freezes at the step: "ThingWorx Foundation for PostgreSQL Installation in Progress" and I get a generic message: "There has been an error. foundation Installation Failed The application will exit now. When running the installer I have used the default location: /opt/ThingWorxFoundation. I am not able to see any logs (not even before i close the message error box). Also, i have found several topics open for issue with the installer and on one article (https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS329897) i have even found the message: "Since ThingWorx Foundation 9.3.1 Inst

Hi,   i want to upload a file created by the TWX Platform to an external System. The external api accepts POST requests with multipart/form-data. It requires that the file is attached to the "files" key. A correct CURL command (that is working) is: curl -u REDACTED:REDACTED -x POST --url "http://172.18.0.6:1080/archive" -F files=@testarchive.zip Now i have two options with "ContentLoaderFunctions.PostMultipart" from TWX (that i know so far):   Send File from Repository   let params = { repository: "SystemRepository" /* STRING */, url: "http://172.18.0.6:1080/archive" /* STRING */, password: "REDACTED" /* STRING */, pathOnRepository: "/archive.zip" /* STRING */, username: "REDACTED" /* STRING */, }; // result: JSON result = Resources["ContentLoaderFunctions"].PostMultipart(params);       This creates a correct Multipart Request but the api requires that the File is attached to a "files" key not the created "file" key.
