Hi All, Just a question comes to my mind, while learning about Connection Server.We know that Connection Server is routing WS from device/edge to remote things on platform and it is recommended to use when there are 50k+ remote things on the platformSo, we know that ThingWorx Federation is sending information from thing in the server A to be Remote Thing to server B.Is it worth to use connection server to route the remote things in the ThingWorx Federation ? Maybe become more scalable etc.Thanks 

I'm trying to get rows in an infotable that have empty datetime fields.  The following is the code for the query, but I'm unable to get any results.  When I log the values of the empty datetime fields with logger, it says the value is undefined.  I've tried using various falsy values as the value, but it did not work.  let query = { "filters": { "type": "EQ", "fieldName": "SomeDate", "value": "" // <--- have tried various falsy values (false, 0, -0, "", '', null, undefined, NaN) } }; result = Resources["InfoTableFunctions"].Query({ t: result /* INFOTABLE */ , query: query /* QUERY */ }); 

I am using ThingWorx 8.5.4-b222 in this tried adding menu entity with one item as Default true and passed this to Menu property of Menu widget in a mashup. But that item is not getting selected on mashup load.Also, tried this using a data-driven menu for which created a service in which menu entries are added to infotable using MenuEntry datashape and set isDefault true for one menu item still the menu does not get selected on mashup load.

Hi,In one of my application we have to apply color or border color of dropdown widget dynamically as per selection of value. We are able to set the dropdown list color but not be able to fill the complete widget color based on the selected option. Please suggest how to create state defination to set the drop down widget color. Best RegardsHareef,

Hi developers,   I have a requirement to right align data of one column. I am using Thingworx 8. Issue is that even after selecting right align by configuring grid columns, its still not aligning right. Note: that column has state formatting on it to show different colors based on some condition. I tried to achieve right aligning via custom css but its right aligning entire row horizontally but not column data vertically. Kindly suggest.

Hi, I am trying to update Kepware Tag through API call from IOT Gateway setup. Refering the document in http://127.0.0.1:39320/iotgateway/I am using this API http://127.0.0.1:39320/iotgateway/writeto update a tag. How to get one user's changes in thingworx composer. Any restapi is available? or Writing a custom service by passing username, startdate as inputs to query datas in Application logs file will help? 

I have used some thing service calls in master mashup header section. i can see that the thing service gets called every-time when i navigate to any other page.

I clicked on this export button in mashup - GitBackup.Main.Mashup. Execution failed and errors were observed. ->Invalid service name: ExportProjectEntities ->Invalid service name: GetConfiguration The configuration given to the thing is -   Iam using thingworx 9.2 version. Hello, I'm trying to retrieve some files (cad docs, pvz etc.) from windchill via the following flow (or something similar) The connector is properly configured and I set the Identifier as indicated in the documentation. Hi all,I am facing an odd issue on my console. There was a mashup for which we used a label widget and did the bindings. Later we deleted the label widget but the service was still there. When we checked the console, we got an error for the label widget. To debug the issue, have removed all the services and all the widgets, but still, the issue exists in the console. After the new upgrade to the ThingWorx 9.3  from the 8.5 version. We exported the project from 8.5 and imported it to the 9.3 version. The problem that we are facing is mashup UI screens are loading slow compared to TWX 8.5and fonts are getting toggling in different styles when I try to navigate from one screen to other. Chrome browser performance snapshot of 8.5 version. 9.3 snapshot: Please find the below screenshot.  (Fonts toggled to bold when user navigate from one page to other page) It looks font issue causing because of the slowness.  Question is, How to resolve the slowness and font load issue?  

I am trying to write custom service for application logs to get what services are modified in daily basis. When I updated a service "OverallMachineStatusGraph" in a Thing, I am seeing a error "Entity Not Found : [OverallMachineStatusGraph]" in application log. But the service saved successfully. Then why this error is coming? Iam using thingworx 9.2 version.

When we went from TWX 8.3.3 to 8.5, one of the many things that broke was the ability to set MINIMUM height of many widgets to 20 px.  We were forced to set them to 34 px.  For this reason, we chose not to update our mashups to the "NEW" widgets.  Then you fixed it so we could set the height to what "we" deemed good for our own apps. Thank you for that.   Today, I started designing a new app for a new customer.  I decided to use all NEW widgets, and not the deprecated ones, because you fixed all of the silly design things, right?.  Nope.  There is still a lot left to be desired.  I don't have time to go into all of the problems.  So I'm going to focus on three things:  Widget Height settings, including borders, Padding settings that can't be modified, and a mind-boggling forced Focus Overlay on input widgets that can't be modified.   The focus of this is the height settings of many widgets.  Although I can now set the widget h

Same thingworx version 9.2.3 is installed in two different server. One is used as a developing and another one is used for testing purposes. The project exported in dev server is imported to validation server. The problem is some of the widgets functionality which worked well in dev server is not working in validation server. We facing this issue for long time. What might be the reason?
