In my mashup, I have added two tags, one for displaying current speed of conveyor using the gauge and other for setting the speed manually using a numeric entry. The issue is how can I reflect the change in my current conveyor speed, when a particular speed is entered using the numeric entry.Check the heading global tags 6-> OPC_Set_Conveyor_Speed and OPC_Current_Conveyor_Speed

I have an Azure VM with the following hardware configuration: I have installed the following components successfully:   + TWX 9.x+ Analytics Server+ Platform Analytics+ Vuforia Experience Service+ Vuforia Studio+ Kepware   Using a dataset I emulated a remote device with a Pressure signal. I used a timer to stream the pressure signal each 1, 10, 50, and 100 ms.   The pressure signal has the following form:   I created three property transformations from the original pressure signal and all worked as expected:   But sadly, my virtual machine performance drops worryingly when the process is running:     This is only a simple test with three property transformations. Hi @slangley ,   Thanks for the information. I have another question. I had developed mashups using TWX 8.4 and when I migrated to TWX 8.5 saw the message that some of the widgets will be deprecated. I now want to migrate the same mashups to 9.0 in Azure as 8.4 version is no longer supported. Please let me know if it would be backward compatible with Version 9.0.(i.e. whether 8.4 widgets on mashups will work fine on 9.0 without any changes)   Regards Koushal

  My thingworx server(deployed in a virtual machine in Azure) become very slow suddenly because Thingworx apace tomcat high CPU Usage (until 100% in VM). This issue happens several times before and could be solved by restart the Thingworx tomcat services, but until now I didn't know the main reason why this issue happens. I have check thingworx application log, script log until the apache tomcat log but I'm still not found anything about the reason why the CPU suddenly increased. The CPU usage increased even when there is no user log in at that time (if user log in should be appeared in script log because of the logger that I put on the services). I don't have any subscription/scheduler/timer except for one scheduler that will be excecute daily at 00.00 AM, and the issue could happen any time, some time at 5PM, 6AM etc. the period of this issue id also random, sometime it happen 12 days, 7days, 20 days after I restart the Thingworx Apache tomcat.    Below was some detail

Approximately how many input parameters we can create for one service?   I have created 200 input parameters for service and passing inputs from 200 text box widgets. While triggering service it receive all 200 input parameters simultaneously (or) one by one.?

Hi,   I have an HTML piece of code (for the runtime of the custom widget) that works using the widget property value. Currently, when I hard code the property value of the widget within the mashup it is working as required but when I bind the output of a service to the property value of the widget, it is not working. Is there a way for me re-render the HTML once the property value is updated from the service? The service is called on mashup loaded.   Thanks in Advance

Hello,   Is there anyway we can utilize StyleTheme Entity Services, in ThingWorx Extension Project. We can define and use a parameter for Infotable, Thing, ThingTemplate/Shape etc.But nothing from the Visualization group.   I want to utilize the StyleTheme to be able to pick the style properties, like the Font Name size and colors in the extension.   NOTE: This not about a Widget Extension       Thanks in advance.   Regards, Bhushan

Hi Folks,   Is there any out of the box Automated testing for Thingworx UI/ Mashup?  As far as I know there is no such OOTB feature but wanted to confirm if PTC has come up with this feature lately.   Also, please suggest some solution in case need to develop custom automated testing of Thingworx UI. may be using other applications like selenium, cucumber, etc. Note: I have 40+ mashups application, so can't accommodate any complex customization as its going to take lot of effort.   Thanks in advance.

On Mashup, i am showing a timestamp. On hovering the timstamp in windows 10 it shows Coordinated Universal Time where as on Windows 7 it shows Greenwich Mean Time. ( Chrome Browser TimeZone is Coordinated Universal Time).        

Hi All,     I am planning to host Thingworx Foundation 8.4 version on Azure VM. As per the System Requirements of Thingworx 8.4, we need 4 cores, Memory 16 GB & Disk Space 100GB. These configuration are also available in B-Series and D-series as well.    Can I use B4ms and D4s_v3 Series for hosting Thingworx 8.4? Is there any foreseen issues with these series? Kindly let me know.

HI,  I am trying to implement live cctv stream in twx mashup using video player or webframe widget. But my cctv media server is restricted and that server functions internally and twx is deployed on aws. And our clients will be using the web browsers at various locations in different countries. My idea is like whitelisting Twx server ip on my media server so twx can access feeds, we can provide it as URL's so I can use it in widgets.   My doubt is whitelisting twx is enough for this implementation ?? , I don't know about the actual widget functionality .. whether twx will call those links or it will be called from clients ip ?    suggest best implementation idea's 🙂 Thanks in advance !! 

Even if we created a mashup template, how to assign it to every mashup?? What is the use of mashup template entity?

I was unable to install ThingWorx Foundation 9.2.0. It crushed and give no clue why it cannot finished install. The entire folder will be deleted even before I press Accept button. Dear community,   I tried to use the PDF Extension as this functionality is exactly what my key user is asking for. Unfortunately it is not working well for me, please refer to the attached files:- TimeReport_20210127_4.pdf is the output of the CreatePDF function- TimeReport_20210127.png is an actual screenshot   As you can see the box is printing well but the chart and the grid are missing. When Ever Kepware is getting the data from the DB/SQL Server, the tags are getting created by the name "table7_channel1_device1_property_name", I don't want table7 in the tag names. I can't rename the 470 tags by manually modifying each and every tag.What is the best solution?Thanks,Shashi Preetham.
