Vuforia Studio

We have a foundation server setup locally. I want to connect my Studio experience to this local server so that i can access the IoT data from this server and display it in the experience.

I have a 3d label in my ar experience for HoloLens. The 3d label is bound by an external parameter service. When i preview and set/change value in Thing -> properties it reflect in the preview, but the same thing is not happening in Hololens. Any pointers on what might be going wrong. Internet is not issue in Hololens as it is connected to wifi obviously as it is able to load the experience.PS. I have a federation subsystem in place for getting data from my hosted foundation server to PTC experience service.

Hi,   We are unable to view any of the experiences we had created under the Pilot Program since yesterday. Even while publishing an experience we are getting an error: Could not contact the Experience Service, verify the server is running. Error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND   Any help on this would be appreciated. We still have another 50 days remaining in our Trial instance, so I don't think it's a problem.   Regards, Nitin

Created an experience on HoloLens and it works but does not mirror to a monitor during use.Any suggestions on why the Experience does not Mirror?It should be able to be done, I created an app that I published to the HoloLens using Visual Studio and it works and mirrors to a monitor during use.

I lost connection with my serverhow to reconnect my server

I want to create an animation when a button or widget is clicked in my 2D pane.Should I be able to do this by directly pulling in a gif or avi file? Or should I use a URL image and play the gif from there?I know gif and avi weren't supported before, but I am not sure if they are currently supported?Thanks in advance for the help.

Several tutorials cite this resource (BluePumpKit.zip) but it didn't download with Thingworx Studio, only Vuforia Studio. When I go back to the Trial page it just shows me the dashboard with number of days left, views, publishes, etc. There is a Blue Pump project hierarchy on my client but no pvz. Can someone send me the .pvz or explain what I need to execute an animated sequence?

Hi,I have one ThingMark in particular that no matter how I scan it (from very slightly different angles) with the HoloLens, once it is recognised and the crawling green outline becomes a full green ThingMark outline indicating full lock, etc., when I step back to view the AR, the green border outline appears approx. 40mm below the actual physical location of the ThingMark I had just scanned. Any of the other project ThingMarks seem fine not experiencing this issue and I can't see any settings in TWX Studio that are any different between the projects.Also, a second query: how do you turn on the Voice recognition for TWX View in HoloLens??? When I stars thingworx studio the following error occur: "error checking for update. Try again later"

2016, I applied for a trial version and got 100 ThingMarks. Now, Only three ThingMarks are available. One of the expired ThingMarks is required. So I want to exchange expired ThingMark with the available ThingMark. Is it possible?  

As I we are working on communication between raspberry and Thingworx using mqtt on local instance Which is working absolutely fine using 1883 server port.But at the same time facing issue on Vuforia or ptc provided thingworx for thingworx Studio(AR), Can you please help with the same? Or can you suggest other communication method for it.

How can you change the font size and color of a 2D label? I am using my 2D label to update instructions, but it's extremely hard to read the small font. I don't see how to do it from the UI editor, are there javascript options? Currently use javascript to update the text content on each step of a sequence.

Sorry to vent but this is the most maddening webpage I have experienced. because I am a PTC customer it tries to default to my normal account where I don't have thingworx. I can't download the developer software because it won't allow me access on the new account I just created.  how do I get the studio client for the PC?

Hello,I'm trying to do like a virtual product wall, but I would like to use more than one ThingMark in the same experience to show/hide the product model, labels and buttons to interact with that specific product.So for example I have one ThingMark to start the experience outside of a room (123:1), then entering the room I have 3 markers located in different areas (123:2, 123:3, 123:4), without create an experience for each product I would like to see each virtual information independent one from the other depending the ThingMark I tracked from the room.I did some tests but I can not make it work, is there a special configuration or binding I need to do the trick?ThanksFelix

Hi ,I just started to create AR application (Beginner) trying to create an experience with dynamic model . For this I am required to upload a .pvz file as per the instructions in the tutorial for creating one sample explanation. I tried and checked to download .pvz files through CAD and few other related softwares. Can anyone suggest me where I can find .pvz files.
