I am cloning a 10.2 M020 Server.But when I am done all the configuration and trying to start the windchill.I am getting following message in server manager and it gets stuck. For a certain Creo family tables, when the assembly containing these family table parts are opened in Creo View from the WIndchill Details tab, the family table objects do not appear in their assembly in Creo View.  Instead, they have an unresolved branch link next to the object in the model tree.  When the same viewable is opened from the Windchill Structure tab, the model and its objects display correctly in Creo View.  Has anyone experienced this issue before? 

My understanding of a baseline in Windchill: a collection of items in a specified version. This is basically version control that is required for an assembly and it's many parts. In Windchill SIM, it is required for version control of a manual and it's many xml descendants. However, it seems we can't do anything with this baseline in SIM. Some cases: Opening this baseline (or an object from this baseline) is not possible. You can add a baseline to your workspace, but you can only open the latest version in Arbortext. Request a new translation from a baseline. When a product is selling well in a particular region, product management decides later that we want to sell it in a different region too and thus require new translations for an old manual. Hello all. I hope you are doing great. I would like to know if is possible to export the documents of a product to a project. I have accomplished to copie them but only the latest version of the documents and I need to keep all the history. Also I could create a shortcut using the  "Add to project" command but I need to deleted the original product. Copy or move using Clipboard only let me do it in the same Context.   Do you have any ideas?   Thanks in advance for the help!!  

Hello anyone,   in the support database i found a Case with the following issue:   Object Information Page: Collapse of tables and areas is not saved when navigating to another object and back again in Windchill PDMLink 10.0 M020 The SPR tells there are no fixes for Windchill 10. We use Windchill 11.1 M020 and miss this feature, so anyone knows if there is a solution for this issue?

Hello,   I set a new reusable attribute MFG (String, all identifiers set to just MFG).  I added to the CAD Doc subtype and gave it a new enumerated list.  The Internal name cannot have spaces... so I removed them and made all the manufacturer names one space free string.  But for display name I entered them as they should be.  I also put "MFG" next to the Creo:____ box which I believe explicitly maps it?   I set my regular part and sheetmetal start files to include the same parameter "MFG" and set the parameter to "ADD MFG" for with the internal Windchill name is "ADDMFG".   I checked in the regular part no problem.  I checked in the sheetmetal part... problem.  the error showed that all the legal values were the internal name on this.  Yet the regular part checked in fine with the Display name.  I set the parameter in the sheetmetal part to "ADDMFG" and it checked in...   What am I doing wrong here!?

I would like to hear from the people that have enabled WPA for their environment. How is it working? Has it provided any actionable recommendations? What were the results of those actions? Anything else that would be of help. I probably won't find this out but I'm curious how many use it.

I decided to tackle a large purge job on a single product area. It was way to large to purge in a single shot. The goal was to keep only 2 iterations of Released objects. I estimated there were 120K purgable iterations in just this area. I will paste some graphs and notes at the end but here is what I learned: If too large, try determining a threshold by adjusting the number of iterations to keep and slowly walk that down. Purge Parts and CAD docs together. Too many dependencies to leave out one or the other. Use preview - HTML to get a count of the total number of objects found. I did not want to exceed 11000 items in a single job.  There is a preference to control this.  Chunk - There is a preference that controls how system chunks purge jobs. So a 10000 object job chunked at 1000 objects will create 10 chunks. Chunks are random so if an item needed to purge first is an a later chunk, dependent objects will failed to purge. Hi.   I need java api to get context-dependent "folder.id" from soft type OIR. I have soft type id looking like "wt.doc.WTDocument|ru.pts.TechDoc|ru.pts.DesignDoc".   I found two methods:         FolderContextHelper.getServerAssignedOIRFolder(typeInstance)    FolderContextHelper.getPregeneratedOIRFolder(typeInstance)   but they require TypeInstance and i don't know how to get it without object.   There is posibility to get folder by PersistableAdapter, but the result is context-independent.   Thanks.

We have family tables stored in a read-only product.  When the family tables are updated, they're moved from the read-only product to one with write access.  The family tables can then be checked out, updated, checked back in, and moved back to the read-only product.   Moving the family table along with its instances facilitates the publishing of every version of every instance.  This creates thousands of unnecessary items being sent to the publisher.   How do I configure the publishing rules in the Worker Agent to prohibit this behavior?

Hello,We work with windchill 10.2 and creo elements/direct modeling 18.1 and we want to load drawings (mi-files) automatic. Normally it should work with "sd-uwgm-element-load" from modeling with lisp programming, but I get an error "Illegal call to action routine”. For 3D files (sdac and sdpc) this works perfectly but apparently not for 2D files. Is there an other way to do this, or is it possible to change this command in modeling.Thanks in advance
