Hi,   For CAPA, in the CAPA Investigation activity > Enter Investigation Details > Edit Actions > Add Row > there's an OK and Cancel Button. I need to add an Apply button there.    In the actionModel.xml page by adding the applyButton entry in the NoStepWizardButton I am able to get an Apply Button. <model name="NoStepsWizardButtons"> <action name="applyButton" type="object"/> <!--ExtraApplyButton--> <action name="okButton" type="object"/> <action name="cancelButton" type="object"/> </model>   But the functionality of the Apply button is simislar to that of OK button. I am stuck.   I had an engineering manager ask me for a report of the objects his reports have checked in over the last few months, and I am not sure how to proceed.   Anyone have any ideas to get this thing rolling?   Mostly EPMDocs and WTParts for the objects.   He wasn't interested in WTDocuments.   I created a search easily enough, but getting that translated into a report has me stumped.   -marc   1st Attempt at the Report:   Results in this:

We're trying to implement the Windchill MS Office worker. In doing so we're required to have Adobe Livecycle Server on the network and link the worker to it. This is for it's PDF generator functionality.My question for the user base is:Have any of you setup an MS Office worker before? Do you know if you're able to purchase only the PDF generator and use it, or do you need to purchase the entire livecycle suite? Experiences with the worker? Tips/Tricks?We're looking to add value with this as we do not purchase Office licenses for every person working within Windchill and being able to view and markup office files in Creo View would be a huge plus.

Hi, I have used this case item https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS153902#_ga=2.74008146.1721421084.1499644934-1088247561.1431470961 to get the work item records I want to complete through an API call. And this case https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS234435 tells you how to complete the work item once you have it. But from the records I get through a SQL query, I have the unique key for the work item (idA2A2 from table WorkItem), but how do I get the WorkItem object in code from this unque key.   If I try a search condition such as SearchCondition condition = new SearchCondition(WorkItem.class, WorkItem.IDENTITY, SearchCondition.EQUAL, iWorkItemId); I get an error that says Caused by: Attribute "identity" is not a member of class "class wt.workflow.work.WorkItem"   If I try SearchCondition condition = new SearchCondition(WorkItem.class, "workitem.persistinfo.key.id", SearchCondition.EQUAL, iWorkItemId); I get a similar error. &nb

Hi  i had problems about start windchill when i reboot os and start shell  shell didn't check path so i check that windchill folder  that folder was hide(i think it's locked) so i called CMD and execute chkdsk 😧 /f and folder is unlocked or no hidden status and windchill shell could called why when i reboot system windchill folder hidden Or locked? plz help me Thank you

From Windchill 11.0 M030 onward, 32-bit Windchill Workgroup Manager client is not supported.   It means that installing the Windchill Workgroup Manager on 32-bit Windows OS is not supported and/or it may not be possible. Installing the 32-bit Windchill Workgroup Manager on 64-bit Windows OS is not possible For the detail, please refer to CS265512 - "Discontinuation of support of 32-bit Windows with Windchill Workgroup Manager 11.0 M030.

Finally. After years as frustration, my site is finally back into the support window! We went live with PDMLink 10.2 last week. Dealing with the normal questions and bugs but I am back. You will be seeing a lot more of me online.  Boy, do we have our work cut out for us.  Looking back, most of my customizations carried forward without too much tweaking.  BOM and EC summary reports are now more inline with current standards but we still dealing with struggles making them "printable".  Aside from that, I am happy my workflows are functioning like they did but it might not be for long.  My site is now thinking big and more advanced concepts of change and BOM management. Lots of modules and business process still to fold into this sytsem.   As for the new community site, I will withhold judgement. Did we lose our "Twitter" like status feature? I liked that.  I will also try to be active on my second account blog. Wait. What? Did they delete my blog? Grrrr

I am investigating removing access to Creo Parametric drawings for some users, regardless of state, and still give them access to assemblies and CAD parts. I was thinking the Document Category attribute could be used but it isn't available in the policy, which can only be configured by domain, context, type, state and participant. Could I somehow create a CAD Doc sub-type that are only drawings? I also looked at profiles to hide them but didn't see a way to use it for this purpose. Other ideas?

Best, Toby   "Creo" and "Windchill" are way to broad and span way to many, completely unrelated products.  The current setup causes lots of confusion (Creo Parametric vs. Creo Direct and PDMLink vs. WPA).  I would strongly suggest that the top level categories align with the broader PTC product areas. Hello - I am having trouble getting my team permissions to a folder. All members of the team are set to designers but they are not able to check in, check out or add new files to the folder. When they try the get an error message that says they do not have permissions. We have other team folders that I have set them to Designers and there are no issues. Any Help would be great. Thanks.

Hello All,  Is there a way to change the revision number of a Windchill document upon approval? For example the regular revision order is A.1, A.2, A.3 ect ect, but say the document was approved after revision A.2. Is there a way for the revision to jump to B.1 after approval? So the revision number order would be A.1, A.2, B.1, B.2 until the next round of approvals. We are tyring to devise a system to easily separate major and minor revisions of a document. Thank you!

I am tyring to change the data type of a few attributes from "string" to "integer". We are using Creo 3.0 and Intralink 11 (if that matters).  I have logged in as the administrator and looked through the "type and attribute management", but I cannot figure out how to edit the attribute type. Under the data type it says "java.lang.String". When I click edit under actions, it doesn't give the option to change it. The option must be hidden in here somewhere...   And it isn't editable from the relation window in Creo, but is designated and set as user-defined. Any ideas?

I'm having trouble publishing Vector pdf from a figure authored in creo illustrate as c3di file. Inservice is publishing the 3D IPD but the arbortext publishing engine publishes pdf only with the screen captured raster figure and not as vector illustration.I'm using Windchill 10.2 M032 CPS10. with SIM for S1000D 10.2, and Service Parts also 10.2SIM S1000D & PE has no vector publishing from c3di file?Thanks,John.

How do we display Change Task in a Folder View? The Default "Change Objects" does not display Task. I do not see an option to include Change Task in a customized View. V11 M020 Cheers.
