Hello Windchill Gurus,I have a requirement from customer to show the dropdown value of an IBA in a better way. Currently, onclick of dropdown, the last selected value shows at the bottom (with more entries after that entry).Customer want to see the last selected entry just at the beginning, when clicked on IBA dropdown.Can you please help me find the JS / JQuery to adjust the scrollbar to set the position of the last selected value to show at the beginning.Current Situation:               To-Be:Thanks for your help in advance!

Need help here.We are currently using Windchill PDMLink v10.2 M030-CPS21 and have encountered an issue that appears to be happening more and more often.During creation of a Change Request and performing Steps 1-3 in the Creation wizard, the Finish button does not activate. The only recourse by the user is to Cancel the CR wizard and start over. This happens about 20% of the time, but seems to be coming more prevalent. Has anyone else seen this phenomenon?We are currently running Java 8 update 45Thanks,-William

Hi all,     An Error "Require Information Modeler to Compile" when trying to compile classes with Annotation using Windchill shell and/or IDE.what I need to do.

As a user, the actions in the Windchill UI should have a tool tip message coming from the action validator class. The tool tip message can be used to communicate to the user why a particular action is disabled. Lot of time a user is not clear why a particular action is not enabled which may be because of multiple conditions being checked in the validator class.

Good afternoon.I was wondering if anyone has had any experience working with this particular robot. If so, I would appreciate seeing any examples you would be willing to share.I am trying to find a way to launch a batch file using a workflow to act as the trigger. But I haven't been able to find any examples for this particular robot. In our application, I would like to be able to pass two workflow variables to a batch file and run it.I would appreciate any hints. Thanks!Steve

Hello everybody,   I am new to WPA and wanted to check if PTC has any customization guide to customize the tool.

I’m trying to export a filtered BOM to xls for end item using Multi-Level BOM report. To do so I want to use Service Effectivity filter – but the Effectivity Type pulldown is not populating. Should I not be able to select Serial? I’m after attached – but filtered by code (wmh-12342).

I am trying to call a third party software hosted webservice from Windchill. I have generated stub java files using axis2. Now I would like to deploy these java files by compiling using windchill shell in order to write client code. Where should I place axis2 jars in windchill to compile from windchill shell? Is there any other mechanism to call webservices hosted by third party systems?

We've been exploring ways of manipulating some CAD Data.  Looking at bringing into a rehosted non-production Windchill system, doing the manipulation, then transfering to production - assuming that we can use Packages for the transfer.Experimented quite a bit with this and did not have any success with CAD data.  Created attached file to document on a tech support case.  Today tech support came back with "I looked into the case details found that you are not able to create package with CAD document."Can't believe this - can it be true that you cannot include CAD data in a Package?  Looking to talk w/anyone who is using / has used Windchill Packages with CAD data.  Would welcome any input from PTC.thanks in advance
