All of our servers are moving to the cloud (Amazon web services - AWS).  We currently publish SolidWorks using a server configured as Win 7 - works perfectly.There seem to be some restrictions on configuring an AWS WV host with a workstation OS.  The WGM installer simply won't start on a server OS.  We've asked for an AWS host with Win 7 (or 8.1 is listed as being supported) with no luck from IT so far.Question: For everyone who currently publishes SolidWorks data, how are you managing the CAD Worker for SolidWorks?

My Master is at Windchill 11 MO20 and replication site is at Windchill 10.2 F00 will Replication work?What M and F stands for in MO20 and F00 respectively?

Community,Does anyone know if there is a way to block search returns by state or other criteria but still allow a user to navigate and look/download the objects if needed?  We are in the middle of the tier 4 redesign and at some point would like to not have any tier 3 info return when a user (certain users only - maybe by role) search for something.

Hello everyone. I have an OOTB requirement of providing one of our client a custom action, where in while I perform a particular action in quick links the navigator should be disabled i.e it should not expand even if I try to expand. Is it possible to achieve this?

I am using a stand alone Java app to run IE tasks. (Java app based on RunTask.java example in WC 8.0 Customization using IE Tasks) I am not using a Java SOAP client. Dear All,Currently we have Windchill Projectlink which is implemented to manage the Project across the Cross Functional teams. I have populated all the activities and RACI has been done and now we have it running in a perfect conditionMy concern is:1. For every document being uploaded and added as deliverables (documents are essentially, word, excel, igs, pdf and ppt and not other data), we have to route it manually for approval or release.Is there any possible way to get it done automatically for the documents uploaded in Projectlink.Reason for asking:Sometimes the users upload the document and set the track work to 100% before getting it to approval stage. Also I would like to ask, if an activity is set as complete, but as an admin I know it is not. Is it possible to revert it back and make users to rework on it.Thanks in Advance

In the report , we can use the report calculation formula to calculate such as percentage. but we can't sort by the percentage. We are using Creo 3.0 (M120) and I wanted to know where the option is to change the Check Out option when I add something to my workspaces. The option is set as default to NONE, but we want to change it to INITIALLY SELECTED, but cannot seem to find exactly where the option is. We've changed a few options in the Preference Manager but either we're changing the incorrect options or are doing so incorrectly.

I have a set of WTParts whose serial number effectivity value has been entered wrong. I want to delete them using API.What is the API to access the serial number effectivities associated with WTPart?I know that I can delete the serial numbers using the following API: PersistenceHelper.manager.delete((ProductSerialNumberEffectivity) serial);But I am having trouble getting the ProductSerialNumberEffectivity for a particular WTPart.Please help.Thanks in advance

Could someone please either upload or give a link to their Windchill Rehost Utility 3 or whichever is the current release?Trying to rehost from one machine to another.We have PDM Essentials and the documentation calls out to go login and go to the downloads page but it doesn't exist there. Even had a help ticket open for 2 weeks but they were never able to help.

I am new to CREO and Windchill.We are running CREO 3.0 M090 and Windchill 11.0.Is there a setting in Windchill 11.0 that deletes all previous versions of a part once that part, Assembly or Drawing is release?

I'm working on another update to our Change Management workflows. In this new version I end up with a bunch of sub-types of WTChangeActivity2.One in particular is fairly simple. On that I'm guessing that if I set it up this way I can give these two principals the access needed (Modify, etc.) while all other Roles get only Read & Download:Before I go too far down that rabbit hole, I want to confirm that everyone listed as Principal get the expanded permissions, even when there are multiple Roles chosen as Principal. After all, nobody likes messing with this cumbersome interface for a few hours only to have to delete and start over because of an unforeseen problem.

Hello everyone,I have a need to be able to check in PDMLink if a certain set of Products (identified by product numbers and/or Product codes) that are made available in a file (excel) exist in PDMLink or not (in a certain state).We know that we have a clear mismatch in what all data has been uploaded in our system.We need to figure out exactly what all Products are missing in the system that should have been there.So, we have retrieved an excel from our ERP system consisting of all Product numbers and Product codes (These are defined as Global attributes on EPMDocument type in Windchill)It is a huge list of around 10000 products in that excel.What I am looking for is a way to be able to check whether a certain Product (identified by Product no/Product code) has an equivalent EPMDocument (in Released state) in Windchill.If any of you have encountered similar issues, I would appreciate it how you managed to handle this.Thanking in advance and looking forward to some inputs.
