HiOn occasions the creation of a promotion request can produce an error due to the checks build in there. The user does get an error task in this case but if he does not verify his homepage he is under the impression that the promotion request went through and waits for approval. It should be good if he would get a pop-up box informing him that an error task exists for the just created pr.RegardsBernard

I may have posted this before - don't recall.  Haven't been able to get help from PTC tech support.Would like to have a simple report that shows for an input list of formats (.frm), all the drawings which reference the format.  This is exactly what is displayed for a Format object on the Related Objects tab, Referenced By table.  Note: From this table, there is no export list to file, which is the main reason we'd like to have this report..Seems like it would be very simple but I haven't figured it out yet.thanks in advance

I need to add constraints to the Promotion Request so we can add only few objects as its promotables. I checked the Relationship constraints manager but do not get the PromotionTarget object to select.

Hello all,We're running 10.2 M030 and have customization to create .pdf and .dxf as Attachments to the drawing EPMDocument on publish.The created attachment .dxf scaling is according to the sheet sizing when it should be 1:1. On the visualization server the SW Export setting was initially wrong, but enabling Scale output 1:1 did not help, ie. we tested that if just setting this correct with the user running the worker would fix the issue. A .slddrw was opened on the server, exported as .dxf with scaling 1:1 enabled and resulting .dxf was ok when opened. Assumption was that once Enable is selected it is then the default for the user running SW.So the question is which setting does the worker look for when creating .dxf?

Mein Arbeitskollege hat eine Zeichnugn (Explosionsansicht) von einem .PRT gemacht (alles super) und hat einige Folien ausgeblendet (dann gespeichert, auf Windchill eingecheckt etc.). Wenn ich die gleiche Zeichnung aufmache, sehe ich die ausgeblendeten Komponente wieder (und er auch bzw. sie wurden zwar gespeichert, aber nicht richtig).Das zwite Problem ist: in der Explosionsansicht gibt es Textfelder mit der benennung der Komponenten, wenn ich diese auf meinem Windchill Account aufmache, sidne die Felder in einer anderen Location...Wie kann ich dieses Probelm beheben?Danke in vorrausCorrado

Hi everyone,Can someone help me with rehost utility 3.0 M010 on setting properties that would preserve JNDI Adapter configuration that connects to Microsoft Active Directory LDAP. Last time I was testing rehosting with rehost utility 2.0, all settings disappeared and I had to do manually the configuration of the adapters. Is there a way to lock library contents so they cannot be moved by anyone without first unlocking them or something like that?

Please read the attachment to see example.WQS Table Find and Replace Problem:  The Find and Replace feature seems to only search records that fall under the selected filter. Once the record condition changes it immediately excludes those from the search.  Users are finding this a pain when they are using the Find and replace feature. If they accidental replace the wrong group of data fields assuming that this field is associated to the field included in the current filter can make it a hassle to correct these changes.   There should be a way to allow the find replace feature to work on all datafields currently present in the table regardless on the change to filtered conditions. I was told that when using excel this feature works in this order of operations.  In the example below.  I filtered the deleted datafield by checked boxes only. Then I removed three of the check boxes. Now I tried to Find search for the (xx) value which is in one of the changed records

Just completed an upgrade from 10.2 M030 to 11.0 M020, and started the Solr indexing. Have just north of 1 million objects. Keep getting 460K w/o policies, with remaining ones staing in the 'remaining objects' category and never processing. Tried deleting the list and reindexing several times but to no avail. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues. Many thanks!

When I try to checkin a drawing from Creo. I get a failed event message stating the following" A security labels configuration error was detected. Report this issue to your administrator "I am quite new to windchill and is finding it difficult to comprehend the same.The logs give me the below message"The security label value 'abc' for label 'CORPORATE_PROPRIETARY' is undefined"What am I missing?Please help

How to change  WTDocument to use a different lifecycle that starts with a state that people don’t have permission to use OOTB. In that case it would just be a new OIR for the WTDocument. The affect we want is to remove “Document” from the dropdown of documents user can create.

While using the action 'Edit Part Usage' of Mass Change Operation, if a part for which we are changing the usage exists multiple times in a BOM then the mass change operation should notify that the part exists multiple time.Scenario : When we change the BOM through mass change activity by "EDIT PART USAGE" if a part is in 3 line items in one assembly, and if we input only part no. and part usages (Line Item is Blank) than windchill will update the quantity of all the parts,Proposed Behaviour : When changing quantity for a part If line item is blank then system should notify for the line item selection if part exists more than one line item in BOM so it will help update the quantity for specific line item.

We use ProjectLink & have a few WTDocs with workflows. These workflows are activities in the project. We want to have the task be completed in the project plan when the workflow is completed. Is this possible?
