Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Download preference in windchill keeps changing to use the desktop integrationDescription: I have a user who wants the download preference to be the basic browser functionality. He sets that preference but when he downloads a part number log he's greeted with this error message. Is there something that needs to be set so this stops happening?

We are migrating CAD Part (EPMDocument) form source to target system using Windchill Import/Export Management. The attributes which are available on the source system are not available on the target system and we need to skip them while exporting/importing the CAD Part to get it imported successfully. We have the option of export/import rules available to create mapping rules to skip the attributes. Is there any mapping rules to avoid the attributes which are not available on the target system? In the exported TAG-EPMDocument-0.xml, the attributes which needs to be skipped are available like this:<businessField><businessFieldID><solution>WINDCHILL</solution><namespace><category>type</category><name>com.abc.DefaultEPMDocumentMaster</name></namespace><name>Attribute1</name></businessFieldID><datatype>java.lang.String</datatype></businessField>

But I would like to handle remove user while clicking remove icon in setup participants pop message appear in at least one user should be mandatory to available blow role. This case, I have created validator but my validator only working Action->Remove option selected. If I selected against of remove icon not working. I checked both action name is same. If previously tried anyone? If you have any idea, please let me know.  

Hi, don't you know how to catch drawing reference from appropriate document in Query Builder? I have found sometihing about WTDocumentDependencyLink but I have no such a class in Query Builder's Types to Add list. EDIT: To be exact. Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Hi All, We are using Solr for indexing along with Windchill. We have defined classification nodes and their attributes. We want to database query to find the list of part numbers which are classified against perticular node. In classification search explore, result are varying due to acl's, so we are looking for db query to get the output.Description: ex - classification node name - Bolt.In system may be 100 parts are classified against classification node "Bolt". In classification search explore, not getting all 100 object as result controlled by ACL's, so we are looking for DB query to get all classified records against the classification node.

This resulted in not being able to find the user since it was not completely created and cannot create the user as it already exists. We have a external LDAP for logging into our windchill and oracle DB for primary object storage.What DB tables are updated when we create a new user? I suspect there is more than one. We attempted to remove the user from one table, but it did not make a difference.

Why are Business Rules considered better than the workflow helper. It is quite easier to add the validation directly in workflow helper but still the Business Rules are considered as the standard one.

In MPMLink module - When we add another resource (e.g. Skill - Assembler) to the Plant system automatically put his visual representation in random place. When I want to update its position to right location going to Plant object -> Structure -> Update Position -> setting another values, it does not move the object by these coordinates, but copies it to other location.
