Windchill Customization

Hello,I'm trying to import a FMEA worksheet  previously exported from another system in the same project but I always receive the same error message: The current record does not have a valid FMEA Tree Item or FMEA Identifier. Please selec the FMEA Tree Item and FMEA with which to associate this record. I tryed to export the FMEA worksheet. All the possible fields has been exported in an excel file, than I imported the same excel file in a different system using the automap to be sure to avoid any possible error. Nothing to do, the error is always the same mentioned above. Windchill doesn't find a valid FMEA Tree Item or FMEA Identifier in the file to Import. What can I do to try to solve this annoying problem?Obviously I can select the proper FMEA Tree Item but it's a huge waste of time to do this same thing in a tree with a lot of items.Thank you,Francesco

We run a query via XML that performs a project search and translates the results using XSL.We have the Query-Objects xml & xsd file on the server.The result is an XML that shows projects & attributes.The problem is in this output, the COLLECTION & INSTANCE is listed in a manner that Business Objects does not understand. When this is generated, Windchill adds the "wc:" in front of COLLECTION & INSTANCE. Before rendering the tree table, condition is provided to check the value of Radio button from NmCommandBean. Then tree table is rendered correctly incollapsed mode as per setting on next page in wizard.  Then I am trying to  expand it by clicking on “+” icon.After that again focus goes to tree table builder code where NmCommandBean is null. And the expansion goes in infinte loop.Is there any way to solve this?

Hi I am trying to develop a quick excel macro that will open a number of Windchill searches and pull certain data from each page. Any tips on how to manipulate the URL to open a particular item in Windchill? And then how to pull particular data once I get there?   ie... What to find DocFun. Type DocFun into excel. Use macro to construct a URL something like: http://windchill.com/GoTo=DocFun Once Im there pull one of the data fields for that doc back into Excel.   Thanks!
