Which solution of Integrity cater to Software Product Engineering, Design, Development, QA, Deployment, Product Maintenance and Management through its lifecycle? While ALM seems to be for software application management, is there a solution for software product management?

Hey all,In one the scripts I'm working on I would like to get the user's confirmation on wether or not to perform an action. To explain the background a little: when a user moves a certain item to a completed state, I want to run a check on all that item's children and if those are not yet completed, *ask* the user if he wants integrity to move them to completed for him/her. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to present the user with a popup in his/her GUI, ask him a YES / NO question and capture the result in my script? Possibly relevant info: We're running Integrity 10.0

Hi all, we have used the Requirement Solution for some years now (stated with the 2007 solution) and recently updated to I10.2.For a maintenace project I am now asked to Re-Import an updated Word-Document into a 3 year old Integrity Document that was originally imported with the 2007 Solution.The Document does not include an attached "source-document.iif" file as this "process" was invented later.Does anyone know a way to easily generate the a IIF file of the current doument content which I would attach manually afterward; so the re-import would have something to match against. I assume that the file is generated temporarily during a gateway export process anyway.Or do I have to create my own XML-report template THX in advance

Hi @all,following situation: a user is working at file "a" in a Source-Project. The last revision of this file is 1.5. Another user is also working at this file, but has made a member-branch from 1.3., so he is working with revisions 1.3.1.x. After a while it will be decided that the work at the mainline will be stopped, and the branch 1.3.1.x will be "the mainline" from this moment. Because file "A" is a binary file there is no possibility to merge it. How can we get the back to the mainline? As the last revision in the branch is 1.3.1.3, we want to check it out and check it in as revision 1.6, but with no direct connection to 1.5. Is this possible?Thanks, Jens

I know that we have the imt file to import the solution to the integrity, does the solution can be exported to a imt file?

I am new to this tool and still in the process of configuring fields, types etc. Could someone please explain the significance of 'Field Value Attributes (FVA)'?When should a field belong to this type? Hi @all,situation is as follows: a subproject (DEF) in a toplevelproject (ABC) has its initial checkpoint 1.1. In this checkpoint it contains nothing, not any subproject and not any member. Later it was becoming a new subproject (named GHI), which is included in checkpoint 1.2, and even later this subproject gets some members. Now the users wanted to branch from checkpont 1.1 and they became a devpath 1.1.1.1, which contains (as expected) also nothing. But now the users wanted to create a subproject with the same name "GHI" as the one in the mainline, but not a share from the mainline and also not an "add". They made a variant sandbox, and within these sandbox they tried "create subproject". It downst work. We want to store our requirements in librarys organized by feature. I have tried to install the sample data wth solution, but It give me this message "The integration between Source and Integrity must be enabled to install the sample data." Hi @all, in the last days some Integrity-Items in our ChangeManagement were reworked, and in this context some field names are also changed. As an example: Until last week we had two test-tasks and a review-task in our workflow. These two tasks were now splitted into three tasks, the review-task is gone and all names were changed. So we had until last weeks two boolean flieds in our item: Task_A and Task_B. Now we have three boolean Fields: Test_1, Test_2 and Test_3, and Test_1 is new, Test_2 is the old Task_A and Test_3 is the old Task_B. The field for the review was a shorttext-field and it is gone.When we now look into the history of such an Item, there is no Task_A or Task_B, only the new names are visible. And more worse: even in the history there is no more review-field. So this kind of history seems not really usable, if we had to look at some items in ten years or later, no one will know about the renaming? Is there any history which holds the old values and fieldnames? kind re

All, We have a customer the needs a report capable of supplying the user ID, user name, projects accessible by the user, and the last time the user logged on. Currently, except for log-in (or log-out) time, you can use the command line with shell-scripting to get this information, but this is not an acceptable option for them. They are on 2007 and eventually will be upgrading to 2010 after an RCS to DB migration.So, with that, they would like to know what is available now, and what could be available after migration and upgrade.In other words, how about a report the does provide, UID, username, projects. And then perhaps a license report they can cross reference. I've looked through the FDO and haven't found such a report.Anyone have anything out there? Thanks,Dean Reimer(224) 715-1429

I am trying to configure Jenkins for our continuous integration server and have already installed Ant. I would like the first step of the build to be to call the si resync command and found a coument describing an ant task implemented in a jar called mkstask.jar. I have looked everywhere and can't find it on my client or on the server. I also searched the web and can't seem to find it there either. Does this thing really exist or is it just a cruel joke? Hi all:In the original solution in Integrity 10, I copied input document type with its input/share input types to create a new document type, also I adjust the new document type's document model configurations in the Edit Type dialog, but it can not be displayed in the document menu of the client UI when I want to create a document with the new created type, why?

So I am using this method from the Issue Bean for a Test Case to loop through the Test Results. I want to be able to sort the beans based on a field, but do not know of a smooth way to do this. I am basically looking for the latest Test Result so that I can pull information off of it.Any ideas?Cheers,Don
