Hi, I'm trying to create a query with a relationship. But it fails and have no idea why. The command with error message: im createquery --name=newQ --queryDefinition=((relationship["ID"] backwards forwards using ["Release"] = 3310308) and (field["Type"] = "Sprint"))You may not supply operands (a selection) to: createquery I have the same query defined in the GUI: im viewquery SpecificSprint...Query Definition: ((relationship["ID"] backwards forwards using ["Release"] = 3310308) and (field["Type"] = "Sprint"))Sorted By: ID (Descending)Fields: ID,Type,Summary,State,Team,Sprint Scrum Master,Estimated Velocity,Sprint End Date,Sprint Start Date,Project-----------------------  And that one is working on the command line: im issues --query=SpecificSprint3310312 Sprint Scheduled [XB1061A][R1024.0_V10] XB1061A Integration Sprint 0 So how can I specify that query on the command line 🤔

Hi, The company is currently using DOORS NG but are not fully pleased with the solution so they are moving back to DOORS Classic. However, we are also deploying Windchill and I am trying to tell them that they should evaluate Integrity because of the PLM strategy currently in place. One of the question I got "thrown" at me was can it handle more than 200,000 requirements (nb per project/product). Apparently they are having issues with DOORS.   Does anyone know the maximum number of requirements per project/product Integrity can handle and if there are any limits in the number of levels to structure the requirements ?   Thanks a lot Best regards

When we are running a specific query we have the following fields being exported: 1. ID 2. Type 3. Category 4. State 5. Document ID 6. Document type etc  We observed that the document ID for a particular requirement ID- say 12345 and all the requirements contained under 12345 is being displayed as its segment ID ex: requirement specification document - 56789.   However, the document type field for Req ID 12345 is displayed as Req spec Doc ID- 56789 and for all the requirements contained under 12345 the document type is displayed as just Requirement. Screenshots attached for the same. This is because the Document type field is defined as FVA with 'contained by' relationship.   How can we go about displaying the same Document type(Requirement Spec Doc) for all the requirements contained in Req ID 12345 as well? Please advise if new fields to be created for this change ? I am wondering if the Doc ID is uniform for all the relationships under a requirement, then the doc

If this documentation is not available through the web page, contact your administrator. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   I cannot get it on the servers-web-page and my admin also cannot provide this documentation. While working with the Integrity Client (Version 2009, SP7) I'm fairly often running out of memory with the error messages "PermGen space" or "Integrity Client out of memory" or "MKS124804: Internal error detected: Error was: mks.frame.exception.OutOfMemoryApplicationError: Not enough memory: The application ran out of memory on the client or server." on a Win7 64-bit machine with 4GB of RAM. As in those situations the Client often uses less than 500MB of memory and not much other tools running, there seems to be a client setting limiting the amount of memory.I increased the maximum heap size to 1024MB, caching is set to 200MB. Is it one of those settings or are there any others?

Hello, In the Integrity Workflow and Documents I do these steps   1) Open a requirement  2) Select a source trace field to a member and select Item > Source Link > Source Trace Viewer. 3) I get the following error: MKS124814: Cannot show view information: The source trace fields must be specified See attached file please  

Hi All,   I'm looking for a solution for the Integrity Domain group. I have an mks domain group, which we required to modify the description info whenever we added or remove the users. As you all know if we use the CLI command will clear the existing description from the domain group and add the new line which we parse. Do we have any alternative options or suggestions that we can add extra lines of information in the description field without removing the existing description?   Note: As of now we have plenty of groups that need to update like this way, so that manual effort is time-consuming and unresponsive sometimes.  Any information will be highly appreciated.   Thanks Afsal Ashraf       

I have to project that have several development paths (branches).  Some of the branches has been released.  Now I want to cleanup the project tree and also preserve the members version to avoid retest at module/unit test. I know that the we can update member revision for individual files.  But It would take time and might have many human error.  Is there a way to update member version for entire projects? I appreciate all the helps!

We have PTC ILM 12 version and we are using ldap authentication.   When we tried to enable SMTP for ILM, its not working   1) Admin client -> enabled mail server  2)Admin client -> configured notifier mail address 3) created notification rule for my usre id and its not sending.. getting  error as 'unauthenticated senders are not allowed"   Note: tested sendgrid functionality over command line from server with the same notifier usrer mail addrss. 

Hi all,   is it possible to create a bidirectional relationship between a baseline of a document and a single item?   In our case, we have created items to represent the review task. In this task a very specific status of a document is to be checked, this status is marked by a baseline. In the review item, we have the option to select certain baselines of documents and then these connections are displayed as a link to exactly this baseline. But unfortunately this is only a one-direction link, I can't point to the review item from the document. For this I need a second relationship field.   I would like to avoid that double relationship, therefore the question: Is it possible to display a bidirectional link to in only one field?   We're using ILM 11.0 at the moment, but we want to upgrade at least to 12.2, so if its only possible in newer versions of ILM (WRVS) then it's ok too...   Thanks, Jens

Hello ! I'm searching for a method how to integrate Simulink with Integrity Modeler. I'm working with Simulink synchronizer, but there is always a mistake: ''An error occurred whilst interfacing with Simulink. '  0×0 empty char array' is not a valid model name because it is not a valid MATLAB function name.  '' Can someone help me and show a simple example how to integrate Simulink with Integrity Modeler?. ( tutorials e.t.c) Regards John

 I recently did an installation of Integirty 10.8 on RHEL VM. I followed the documentation along and the installer said it has successfully installed the server but for some reason I'm missing the mksis file to start the service. Has anyone had this issue before? Is there a way to get this mksis file?

Hello, we are currently evaluating an option to include customized help into the ILM standard help system.   I am wondering if anyone of you can give me input how you today create custom help text (in your environment), and which tools you use to maintain it. Hello,   I want to know if the C++ code generator for PTC Integrity Modeler allows the generation of c++ code implementing the "ports and interfaces" template of communication defined in the UML norm ?  

It is not possible to fetch an item containing an image with the Java API. A com.mks.api.response.CommandException: mks.frame.app.ui.ViewException is thrown.Fetching is done by exectuting a viewissue query with the cmdRunner. I use API Version 4.16.2671.Did anyone experience a similar problem?

All,      Has anyone performed a mass delete of flat items (ie. defects) from an Integrity environment?  I am looking for suggestions on how to improve the performance of the delete.          I have created the two recommended indexes from CS119789 - "How to increase performance when deleting items in Integrity" and pinned the ISSUES and ILLDELTAMAP to memory.  However, the delete is only able to remove 4 per minute at best.  At this rate, it will take me > 40 days to remove all the data.   Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.   Thank you,   Paul
