Hi , I am a user of Creo 9.0 version and is the user of the student version , As far as I remember during the installation of the files, I clicked for the simulation feature but now when I am using it it shows that the request is failed ,I really want to test my parts and want to present it to the professors so plz help me .   

When using ANSYS Simulation, I am able to solve the model fine.  The results show a green check mark.  When I plot a result, the color legend shows up.  However, the contours do not plot on the part being simulated.  In addition, when I click on "display mesh", the part changes from a shaded solid body to a wireframe.  The elements do not plot.Can you help me figure out how to get the e

Hi, I would like to simulate in Creo 4 the mechanical stress and deformation of a thin-walled tube under an internal gas pressure.I am having problems finding the best constraints for the results that I want.Ideally, I would like to constrain the tube around its central axis. So that the resulting deformation of the tube wall is axi-symmetric around the tube central axis.But I can't find a way to constrain the tube around its axis. The only contraints that lead to some results (although not the ones I want) is to use the (flat) starting surface of the tube.If I use the 'Planar' constraint (or Z = fixed, X and Y free) I get stresses that seem acceptable, but the deformation is wrong and not axi-symmetrical.If I fix the surface in X,Y and Z, I get a result, but as expected, the deformation is 'weird'.If I constrain as a 'Pin', that does not work. 

OK, limitations 1. Why do I have to carry out a fatigue analysis on a whole assy?- There is a file containing stress results by part/volume region- One could carry out a fatigue calulation with the stress results from a single node by hand but it is lazier to use software (and less human error probably)- I suppose I could fiddle with the results files and make my own up. The software would be unable to tell the difference bewteen one I create and a 'real' one. 2. Why can't I select a contact analysis?- There is a file containing stress results by loadstep.- Ok, ignore contact stresses but why not be able to go the the final loadstep automatically- Yes I know it's non-linear, But sometimes we need to be pragmatic engineers. Again, I suppose I could fiddle with the results files and make my own up. 3. What 'location', 'label(s)' would you use for this? What message tags would you create?   

each analysis returns this error to me, how can I solve it?doing it in simulated, can do it without problems  

 I am new to creo simulate. I have a doubt in applying loads on multiple faces while simulating using creo 8.0. I have granite modeled with 14 holes. I have selected all the 14 hole surface and applied a load of 1000N.Now the question is, if I do so, whether the software applies the load of 1000N to all the 14 holes(i.e for 1st hole, 1000N, for 2nd hole, 1000N and so on) or it will divide the applied load by 14 (i.e 1000/14=72 For 1st hole 72, for 2nd hole 72 and so on). Actually i have found the same problem but could not find the exact solution. @gfraulini 

I have a model that I'm trying to run an analysis on but I can not get it to mesh properly. It is a very odd situation because I can mesh it no problem in AutoGEM and view the mesh results with no errors or warnings but when I start the Analysis and it attempts to mesh the model, I get a completely different number of elements in the mesh and errors. I have tried deleting all the existing mesh files, deleted the folders for the Analysis and even copied everything to a new folder and I get the same results....AutoGEM makes 125k elements, Analysis and Design studies makes 105k elements with all of the default options. Anyone have a clue what could be going on here?

When I export a formula-based lattice (e.g. - diamond TPMS) as an STL, there seems to be a gap between the lattice structure and the shell.  Have you seen this with other users? Thanks,Thomas

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0Hello,I have an assembly which is configured by a set of parameters (dimensions and loads) to obtain a set of configurations. For all of these configurations I want to run one (or multiple) simulation analyses. Would it be possible to automate this?As I read online, it is possible to run a batch of studies, however I did not yet find a way to do so with changing the input parameters of the model.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Creo simulate tab for the live version in Creo 7 is grayed out and doesn't allow the user to use it.  

Few days I have problem with simulation and it gives below error. This error is the same for all models and for all simulations (thermal, pressure, etc.). Can anyone please help me I have to submit my project soon. "Integrated mode error checking found error(s) in the modelafter creating the Creo Simulate database." 

Hello Gentleman, I am running Creo 8.0 structural simulation. It takes a lots of time to run the simulation, while system is barely working CPU roughly 4% and GPU around 0. When I`m moving the 3d part the gpu goes up, so the settings are correct in the nvidia panel. GPU:RTX A2000 LaptopCPU:11gen i7-11850 @2,5GhzRAM:32GB Can you please help how to improve the system usage of creo? Kind regards,Balint.    

I am using Creo Simulate Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.10.0I am trying to run a dynamic load analysis for a large cyclical imbalance on a shaped beam. I can get the modal results. I applied sinusoidal loads in two directions to simulate the rotational imbalance. Simulate runs through the time analysis but I get no results. It looks like the load is not being applied.

I cannot use Creo Simulate.We think licenses needed are not installed since in the license portal we see: -Creo Mechanica Fatigue Advisor (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Not Installed  -Creo Simulation (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Not Installed However we are not able to perform any action in the portal.How can we install them?Thanks in advance for your help

Refer to the above screenshot, frequently the "ok" button and "cancel" button are outside of window and become inaccessible in Simulate. I have to close Simulate and restart it again. Is there any better way to access the "ok" button? Thanks.JSP.S. BTW, in Simulate, the popup windows for selections (for example in assigning Rigid Links, Weighted Links, etc) are TOO small and can't not be dragged wide. Is there any better way to make the selection window wider?

Hello, I am using the graphics card P520 quadro from Nvidia for creo 9.0.This week suddenly an error message appeared (see attachment ...547_n.png below) during me drawing some stuff. Then when I tried rendering, the rendering screen went all black. Rendering since goes very slow and the message keeps appearing.  I updated the NVIDIA drivers, checked the OpenGL version - it is 4.6 - and wanted to check the hardware, but the latest checker software - that I could find - for this is one designed for creo 8.0. I just noticed that the program does not use the quadro graphics card, but instead the intel cpu (see troubleshoot Word file). How can I solve this issue? Thanks!

Hello All,for my master project i need to do Modal analysis of press fiit shaft hub connection to find natural frequencies. I have used friction free contact for the press fit simulation. 1. I found that the differnce between calculated contact pressure and simulated contact pressure is large2. As the contact interfaces in Modal analysis are ignored, i am trying to idealize the press fit interface by spring, But can anyone please explain how may i calculate the stiffness of spring for press fit interface, or is there any other method to perform modal analysis for press fit. I ghave attached the CAD files and mathcad calculation in the folder. Any suggestions would be appreciated.  

As per the original post.    Hello All,   i am trying to do press fit simulation with friction free contact, but i found that the difference between calculated contact pressure and simulated contact pressure is very large. Moreover i need to do modal analysis of the pressfit contact to find natural frequency. As the Modal analysis ignores the contact interfaces, i am trying to idealize the press fit contact by spring element. But can anyone suggest, how may i calculate the spring stiffness of the press fit contact. I have attache zip file consisting CAD models and the Mathcad calculation. Your feedback would be much appreciated.                

On the mold flow analysis setup tab, I cannot see optional simulations tab which involves sink mark simulation check. I want to make a sink mark check for a part but since I cannot check this box, I cannot reach any results.
