Dobrý den,potřebuji ve výkresu v PTC Creo 2.0 udělat částečný řez součásti, s tím aby zbylá část nebyla vidět, resp. potřebuji pouze tu část pohledu, která bude v řezu, zbytek aby byl skrytý. Zkoušel jsem 3D-sections, ten mi ale nevytvoří čáru řezu v jiném pohledu. Nevíte co s tím? Předem děkuji za odpověď.

Anyone write a script I guess or startup utility to login to the PTC community upon Pree launch?

It's a 3-month-ish contract position, and may go longer (not sure HOW much longer) but it's great to be working again!  Learning creo 3, and it's WAY better than the garbage creo perametric pro 5.0 version I was on.  A lot of new changes to the GUI, this time actually for the better!  Also some real enhancements.   Been here since Mon 9/26, and so far love it.  Awesome people, awesome work culture/environment, seems like a great company and I've been trying to get in here for years, so, we'll see where this goes!

How can I change de default units in Creo. I tried to run the configure.bat, but it did not find the right files.Thanks

The use of the Creo View API to create an interactive 3D Product View instance within Powerpoint has caused problems with management of computer resources. Each new figure that is loaded on a new slide in PPT adds another process to the CPU, On average this amounts to 250 MB of memory utilized per slide containing an instance of Product View, which quickly becomes unsustainable (as shown in the attached image). We are looking to find a way to decrease the amount of memory used, particularly by not requiring a new instance of Product View for each step in the Work Instruction. A method that we have looked into is the ability to embed the .pvz model in the powerpoint file (similar to how multiple figures can be opened in a single instance of Creo View), but were informed that this is not a current capability of the Creo View Office Toolkit.Work has been done to only allow a certain number of Product View instances, and terminating all other Product View processes in a first in first out

In Windows 7 I set up folders & shortcuts in hereC:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Creo SoftwareTo create the following cascading menu structure. Is there anyway to do this on Windows 10. I don't want to use a 3rd party app. I want something native to how windows works. The only other option would be to bring back the quick launch bar and put my shortcuts in there. Not sure if I cascade the quick launch bar menus.

Hi there,I am writing a document to upper management and I am trying to justify upgrading from WF5 to Creo3. I have a whole list of things but first off I am getting SSD's installed in my Laptop and I am wondering if there would be an even greater advantage in performance using SSD's with Creo3 compared to WF5?Anyone know if WF5 (M060 from way back in 2009!) would take full advantage of the SSD's?  If not and Creo3 does, I can add that to  the list of benefits!ThanksAl
