Hi!From the structure of the localization files it's pretty clear that they are automatically generated from the .res files.Is that tool available to devs outside of PTC? If so, what's it called and where can I find it?Kind regardsHans-Christian

I was asked by an engineer to set up different line thickness for hidden lines. My understanding is that these line weights are set in the table.pnt file for each of the different pens. There does not appear to be a default table.pnt file provided, which I could work from. Where can I get the default values for each of the pens, which would give me a point to start working from?

We have 2 groups of users.  All are currently running creo 2.0 m070.One group is between projects and would like to update to m170.The 2nd group must wait.Are files that get modified by users running m170 fully backward compatible to users running m070?

Hello,i want to save parts and assemblys as .x3d but there is no "save as" option in Creo 2.0So, is there anybody who has an idea how can I do it.Thanks for good IdeasBoris

I'm looking to buy a new mouse. What type of mouse do you use/recommend for a heavy Creo user? What is the best CAD mouse?My current HMI consists of a SpacePilot Pro, an entry level keyboard and a mouse. Recently, my Corsair Vengence M60 died and I switched to a MS Wireless Mouse 5000. The middle click on the MSWM5000 is too complex; scroll, tilt, and click. It’s too much and it gets in the way. I’m looking for something high performance but still basic. For Creo, a decent middle click is required which is hard to find. Basically, I’m looking for a mouse that has high resolution, decent buttons (not too light, not to hard), maybe some programmable buttons, and preferably no third-party software to run it. The Corsair software was preventing a few on-screen menus to work properly.I included a pic of my setup pending the upgraded mouse.

I've been using inventor for 2-3 years and I was considering giving Creo a shot for a variety of reasons. What would you folks recommend I look out for in terms of differences between the two? Perhaps there are some youtube videos or blog posts I shout get to, or books I should read? I saw already PTC Creo  -  Moving to Creo 2.0: Experiences from SolidWorks and Inventor Userswhich was quite helpful.Many thanks in advanceJoe

I've been able to do this under actions->new->new graphic information element. However, my purpose is to use this image as a decal in Creo, and even though I can locate the file in Windchilll cabinets it does not show up as a decal. I can get the decal to work when I browse for it on my local computer, but the image disappears every time I close the program. That's why I'd like to pull it into Windchill. Is there a better way to set up decals to be permanent across sessions?

Is there any prvision to run user defined codes or macros in creo such as for creating 3D objects similar to FreeCAD?

I created several snapshots to make an animation with in Creo Parametric.  I created the key frame sequence, but when I try to play the animation I keep getting the following error "Key frame sequence Kfs1 invalidated and will be ignored."  What does this mean?  How did I get an invalidated key frame sequence and how can I correct it?  Has anyone had this problem before?  I am not sure where to start because I did the process exactly as I have before, and it worked previously.

Hello All,I know hitting ALT key on the keyboard shows you all the keyboard shortcuts and also I see there is a quick reference guide attached which shows some keyboard shortcuts.However I am looking for any other keyboard shortcuts that are not listed and if anyone is willing to share their cheat sheet or complete list of keyboard shortcuts for Creo 2.0/3.0.Meanwhile can someone please share keyboard short cuts for the GRAPHICS TOOLBAR located in Creo 2.0/3.0. Basically I am looking for keyboard shortcuts for FRONT PLANE, TOP PLANE, RIGHT PLANE etc.Thanks again

Hi,   I am trying to figure out browsers and versions supported by Axeda console.Could you please let me know the browsers supported by Axeda 6.8 console?

I will post an answer for Single Wall "C" Flute once I get a carton weighed.  I know the density of the material, but you cannot use the actual density in Creo due to no voids in the model.  Just wondering if anyone has done any calculations to approximate corrugated mass in Creo?
